    Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
    Purpose
To establish a standard that all medical personnel should abide by while on active duty.
    Standard Guidelines
As a First Responder you will be expected to follow the AFD's Standard Operating Procedures while on active duty. All fire/medical personnel are expected to remain courteous and professional at all times while on duty. While on active duty, you are required to role-play and follow all server rules at all times. Breaking server rules will result in disciplinary action on your permanent record, up to and including potential termination from the Altis Fire Department
    Role-playing
As a fire/medical member of the AFD, you are expected to set a good example to others on the Asylum Server(s). This requires discipline at times, and if you cannot comply with the Policies/SOP's set by the AFD staff, or if you feel like someone/something is getting on your nerves, you may need to take a break for a while.
While on active-duty as a member of the AFD, you must adhere to the standards of an AFD member. Below are simply a few points of the otherwise long list of characteristics:
You MUST role-play ALL scenarios Be respectful of EVERYONE, this mean all factions (civilians, fire/medical, and police) as well as Asylum Staff Do NOT use profanity in an way, shape, or form Do NOT discriminate racially, religiously, sexually, or any other form of discrimination Do not lie, being honest is a must, even if it is admitting to doing the wrong thing Additional Notes
It is important to remember, that as a member of the AFD, you are held to a higher standard than a non-whitelisted player, you represent the server and community as well as yourself. Regardless if you are playing as a Civilian, Fire/EMS, or Police Officer, you should strive to set a good example to any player you may encounter on the Server(s). You are expected to know and obey the Server Rules found here. If you are found guilty of breaking any Server Rules, you will be held accountable not only by the Asylum Staff, but also in your Altis Fire Department career and record.
Any questions/concerns may be directed to the AFD Staff.

Let me start off by thanking @Jake for putting in the work and dealing with the hardships that launching a new faction brings. Due to IRL commitments Jake will be stepping down from the Chief role effective immediately.
Our goal has always been to have the AFD become a non admin run faction. With that please join me in welcoming @Sky as the new AFD Chief. Sky has been instrumental in helping us get policies in place and has some great ideas to continue moving the AFD forwards.
Replacing Sky as Assistant Chief will be @Master27411
Congratulations to both of you, make us proud!

    Sorry you feel this way,
Admins can't be everywhere at once so we rely on players to report RDM Via Recordings - Typically if you leave Kavala you will find you get RDM'd a lot less. How does a Microphone make your voice squeaky? But we have had numerous squeakers on Asylum and they were loved by the community @Katheeri I personally have had years worth of fun, and i think the fact we have a consistent 115 slot server filled means someone has to be having fun. Damn you're making me depressed Correct, Admins dont care about you or anyone else. We only stay up late watching reports, doing hundreds of tickets and countless hours coding the server/running events - because we don't give a single fuck, That makes sense... (Did i mention we are unpaid?) Do you want your hand held? You should be killing cops not asking them for help, this is a cops and robbers server. Medics do their best to res everyone but you have to remember people are trying to kill them too and will often tell a medic to leave or the area or be killed

*EDIT* There has been some confusion as to which photos are mine and which are not so to help curb that confusion for those of you who don't read lmao.
RED post = These images are not taken by me and are either provided as an example for what is possible with the gear i'm buying or an object i have photographed and wanted to show what a higher quality image looks like. They will also be in Spoilers just to make sure people understand anything in red and in a spoiler IS NOT MY WORK IT IS SOMEONE ELSES!!!!
GREEN post = An image taken, edited, and posted by myself. I am not here to take credit for anyone else's images. I really just want to share the love of Astronomy with you all.

Looking to get in to Astrophotography in the near future and was wondering if i should take the time to post any really good pictures here on the forums or not? I personally don't like posting things that are super off-topic too often but maybe i can make a thread for myself and others to share. Also this wouldn't start like tomorrow or anything it would take some time for me to learn the camera and image stacking/post-processing to bring out the light since usually it's much too faint to see normally unless you have an amazingly clear night and perfect exposure times.
Here's an example of some wonderful Astrophotography done by AstroBackyard on Youtube after it's been stacked and processed:
Andromeda taken in Bortle 4 skies:
Elephant's Trunk Nebula in Bortle 6 skies:

[Have to be on civ to participate]
    Happy Holidays to everyone.
