Back in the day Swat had more access ingame (I think like a whitelist), they had to do multiple trainings to maintain the swat rank (or even get in).
They got striders, 7.62 etc. "Swat helmet" (Pilot helmet) and pilotcoveralls

I cannot thank everyone enough for the support you have given to me and my team over the past year.  It has been a hell of a ride as a player, an admin and most of all an owner. First, none of this would be a success without the team of Administrators, Developers and Contributors.  Hats off to them for their efforts in making my vision possible.  I took a gamble early on - and you helped me deliver.  Thank you guys.
I set out a goal for Asylum when @BaDaBiNg_10-8 @Jesseand I took over last year.  My goals were simple, bring back the players, bring back stability and bring back the fun.  I can safely say all three have been accomplished.  It was not as easy as it sounds, we lost a lot of good people, we had a lot of long nights and we made some mistakes along the way.  Our community is strong and stood by us through a lot and in the end I feel we were able to deliver a better Asylum experience.  In the future, at least until Arma 3 dies, I hope we can keep delivering that fun.  
Now currently  #1 in Arma 3 Life Servers and #3 ranked Arma server in the world.  I think this point in time is a perfect time for me walk away from running the day to day operations on Asylum and let someone who can dedicate more time and focus on whats needed ahead. 
@Mitch (IFRIT) will be taking over starting tomorrow December 1st.  I will be helping during the transition throughout December, but, all decisions will be his from here on out.

Rename impound to "tow vehicles" and I wouldn't see it being a huge deal. If we were to get the option, it'd be similar to cop where we won't be allowed to tow if there's a combat situation. 
We know the M-900 is ass, but it's not TERRIBLY ass. I plan on keeping the Hummingbird at AEMT to keep some incentive to play medic and rank up. I don't expect folks to put in 20 hrs/ month or some shit, I just want them to stay somewhat active.

I have nothing to hide here, i unbanned you from teamspeak less than a week ago and since then all you have done is pester anyone in any channel that you can see.
Not only have you pestered AFD higher ups attempting to get them to review your friends applications but you have messaged unaffiliated people sitting in a channel with an Admin trying to get them to move you in so you can bypass due process and speak with an Admin
 
Teamspeak is a privilege and you abused it by thinking you can just jump que and have your issues brought forth at anytime.
If you want to accuse me of not having any common sense and think i'm a retard because i refused to ban someone after you failed to provide proper evidence - then go through the proper channels and have it reviewed by a Community manager. Also, when i pull you trying to speak with you and answer your questions, interrupting me every single sentence doesn't exactly promote a healthy dialogue 
 
But sure upload the last 7mins of a weeks long interaction to garner support and attempt to make me look bad.

As most of you probably know, the update released near the end of October re-introduced the lovely server lag that existed for about 3.5 years prior to V2's release. Since the October update was released I've been trying to narrow down the issue. And well, around 18 hours ago while away from my PC I had an "Aha" moment. 
Basically, when you're in jail and not in a game of laser tag - your weapons will be removed. This check happens multiple times per frame, meaning the command to remove your weapons also gets executed multiple times per frame. The effects of this command get broadcasted over the network to everyone else too. Now when there's a lot of people on the server and potentially multiple people in jail and this network broadcasting happens so frequently, shit eventually hits the fan. Solution? Make it check if you have any weapons before attempting to remove them.
So essentially, this is the same issue that plagued V1 with server lag - and has finally been solved. It sucks that it took so long to find, but that's just how it is.
This also means that the remainder of the update (along with some additional bug fixes) is now live. That includes bounty hunting and medic. Honor talents and honor xp will likely be given back sometime next week when Jesse isn't busy (he's still quitting though). There's likely still some bugs, so please do report them. However I have exams starting in 6 days, so it's limited how much time I wanna spend on Asylum until I'm done with them which is in about 2 weeks.

All ive seen so far is friends of friends getting in thus far. I know its early days still and its not even implemented fully but yeah, someones gotta say it.
