Envy would have played no matter the date so no idea where you got that from. Me personally would not be able to play if the date was the OG date. I just asked for fun really, didn't expect the date to be changed. And from what im hearing more people wanted to change the date.

Mk-18 for days. The overall best 7.62 in the game. But as someone said already it's personal preference for the most part. I prefer the mk-18 at any point during a fight, close, mid and far. Don't really matter, nice recoil etc. But from 600m out the Mk-18 is a clear winner no doubt.
