    hey guys we fought the cops , the server crashed three times, we lost 8 loadouts, half of us got arrested ,

    From a rebel heavy point of view im pretty certain there is actually no reason/valid reason for cops to raid a cartel.
    There was never one before.
    I can't see why there is any need for the cops to go there either. 
    What is this gonna do for any of the sides? (Cop/Rebel)
    And they have to bring armor? Just to try and make it more pleasing for the rebels? Incase they win they can chop a Strider/Hunter for 15k? Im sorry to say but ME personally can't see any positive sides or reasons for this to be a thing.
    But what do I know, only a corporal 
    And if anyone is actually able to give me ONE valid/good reason for this to be a thing I would legit be surprised.

    I know Ive made one of these before, but really back then I didn’t want to quit. Now I’ve finally came to the conclusion that this is the end for me and my time on Asylum. For me I started playing asylum years ago, but actively almost 2 Years ago now. I’ve made so many cool friends on here some I would consider real friends even tho i’ve only met one of you fuckers (S/o @Roicesb for one of the coolest smoke seshes ive ever had with someone in NYC back in september). But really im not gonna make a giant post thanking a thousand people for likes, the people that made a difference to me know who they are I love all yall little fuckers if you wanna play Pubg Division or Overwatch with me hmu (Ill add my usernames in a bit)

    So I attempted to go through some patch notes and find things that sound like they would cause server memory to fill up long before it should. It would make sense this would happen when gangs fight each other and not so much when gangs fight cops because there isn't any Y/virtual inventory dropped from cops upon death. I'm not saying that Y inventory staying around for in excess of 5 minutes is the only cause of the mass kicks or server crashes but it seems unnecessary to me. @Gnashes what is the point of this? I've seen Y stay around for 10 or 12 minutes in some instances, and it would totally make sense that the server crashes or lags if large amounts are dropped from players fighting on the ground in a short period of time and not despawned within a reasonable time frame.
    I suggest that Y inventory doesn't despawn after at least 3 minutes but never stays for more then 5, or at least something like this. Maybe it's a bug, I really don't know. 
    While we are on this topic I'd like to point out that there have been instances(more then 1) where I died and got revived but the guy next to me can see my Y on the ground and I can't.

    I have speculated as to whether or not the way dirty money generates causes the lag. If my memory servers me right, dirty money at cartels as opposed to the drugs them selves being in the fridge was around the time this started to happen. 
    I don't know tbh, regardless hearing "it's bohemias problem" no matter what we say is getting real fuckin old.

    there is way more things to do as far as making money, illegal and legal the map is distributed very evenly, where every part of the map is used actively..
    there is more rebels, including "Warzone Rebel" which is east arms, and they sell Olympus version of a mini defib.."Epi Pen" which revives your teammate and they have a "dopamine" timer, so you must either get healed by a medic or go to a hospital..currently they are releasing a longer timer, or defib? not 100%
    loadouts & vehicles are much cheaper , as it is much easier to make money, you can get an orca and a turtle backpack and make around 500k in one meth run....., (two loadouts for fighting) in relatively 20-25 minutes, where as it takes quite a bit of work to make that on Asylum as the cops check drug areas 24/7 and there is no timer or wave rules to return, as for Olympus there is
    an orca costs around 500k i think and once you put the 150k insurance on it, it's 150k each time you lose it with insurance..
    that's 50k asylum for an orca, then 15k each time you crash it basically..but asylum orcas used to be 120-200k, which is 2million relatively olympus money...(fucking joke) literally thats 7-8 dollars $$ us for one vehicle, if i bought that on olympus you could get around 7-9 loadouts , or loadouts, heli, ifrit, all in one..the groups have no cap limit, there will literally be 3-4 gangs with 10-20 people each fighting for hours on end and there is not one single bit of lag you can claim ifrits you win at fights, they have gang sheds... 
     
    THERE IS NO FREEZERS AT THE CARTEL..if you own it, the money goes into your gang bank
    honestly the logic behind the freezers at the moment is broken..the admins don't see it how rebels do because they don't get on the server & go cap it..there is honestly no reason to get the cartel unless the freezer is full with 100k..so people dont even bother half the time..yeah let me go sit at the cartel for 30 minutes...then wait 30mins-1hour or however long it is for the money to fill up, fly my orca to the cartel...server kicks you off, you lose your orca & all the freezers are reset...and then when you finally do get there without getting kicked, there is some guy there with a fucking rook and kills you when you take the money , they even made it where you can't put it in your vehicle anymore back then! what a joke! people can watch you take the money out and wait at rebel..Mass kicks started happening...you'd think we'd be rewarded for dealing with it so calmly and trusting the process..but no, they nerf the firearm factory, making it where you need salt..they nerf drug running..they nerf scotch where you have to refresh your crates, they raise taxes on ifrits, orcas and if i'm not mistaken guns, they nerf panagia gun crafting & also nerf orca crafting...literally the only way to make money is doing meth..which is usually camped, or cops showing up every 10 minutes, all the bitching and moaning about everyone on server 5 when there is literally barely any ways to make fucking money anymore and they wonder why everyone just went there to make money?..
     
    their fed pays up to 4-10million i think? which is 400k-1m Asylum money
    they have blackwater..where you can get DMS scope, mar10,tons more and attachments, csats, armed quillin, striders, hunters, armed blackhawk..and you can sell these to other player or keep them
    they have a war point shop , selling csats(you cannot donate for them by the way)
     
    honestly im tired of naming things because the list goes on that they have that Asylum doesn't because it's honestly frustrating, we've all been so loyal to Asylum, we've all introduced so many ideas, they are  just all shut down...i mean server 2 was down for ages and there was no warning or post about it..we literally had to find out from a gyazo of a discord chat...(lul) 
     
    Asylum needs to hire a coder at this point..They definitely have the money..If Paratus actually gave a flying fuck about the thousands of people who donated to Asylum and donated to his new game he would do something about all this..Literally we are the sole reason he has all that money, must be nice..It's time for the staff to take a step back, admit the server is failing, do something about server 2 & 3..literally people have worked to get houses and setups on there for years...and you just take it away like it's nothing..."Ahh they will be alright, they'll adjust.." that's like taking your code for idenity paratus that you worked on for years and just deleting it...I don't think you'd like that very much...I owned several arma 2 overpoch servers that were semi-successful i earned around $7500 dollars in donations in the first 6 months, I tried to expand and did things my way and ignored my community...long story short it died because I didn't listen to my players..just a friendly warning

    what i am confused about is scotch never caused any lag in the years past..it might just be time to rework the whole ageing process, would it really hurt to just distill it and be able to sell it right away? maybe implement a two step process as meth is, distill it twice, you can sell it right away for the same amount, i mean what could it really hurt at this point? we are trying new things correct? maybe add some more legal ways to make GOOD money, or just buff mining ores/diamonds..maybe implement a whole new mine, where you can get topaz/rubies/sapphires and they all sell for good amounts, make it north above kavala in the un-used areas of the map there and a "Gem Refinery" in another un-used portion of the map..it's time to do a huge change, something fresh..there hasn't been anything huge and new on Asylum for quite some time, just look how big your "Crank" update was! also you could add these gems in the shipwrecks, and buff that as well! it is such a cool way to make money wouldnt it be awesome to fly orcas over the guys diving and all drop down in wetsuits and sdars and have a underwater fight? it would add that element back as well, 
     
    i am a book of ideas and creativity i had so much great things like this on my arma 2 servers, i honestly thing i could single handedly bring back the server, but meh that's just my opinion
     
    im also working on a script that triggers an event on arms island where a convoy was disabled, and cops and civs are alerted, the cops have a change to seize this for money, and the rebels can go there and retrieve weapons, gold bars, dirty money from the disable vehicle of your choosing, im also working on an evidence locker but i can only work on thes eon the weekends

    You might have the ideas, as many of us do. Most of the ideas said today by veteran players are purely logical suggestions that under the right circumstances could be implemented. It comes down to whether or not you have the skills needed to develop. Our devs as they say have lives, which is fine. It becomes a problem when they accept a developer title and don't develop this community is dying for realistically half a dozen reasons, the big 2 are poor server performance being number 1, and lack of new content, whether you, my self, or others believe the performance issues are exclusively a Bohemia issue, an Asylum issue or some combination of the two is almost irrelevant in this case except for when you factor in we have very little development, or at the very least what I would consider to be inconsistent development. I personally believe if we got more active developers the odds of a bandaid/workaround to the kicks and crashes would be fixed.
    In my opinion, if Paratus since he is from what I am told the one with superior scripting and coding skills, were to come back and sort out the big issues for 2 or 3 weeks we would be in a lot better shape then we are now. It would be to his advantage in the eyes of the public because it would show he didn't leave his roots behind. Think of it like Dean Hall abandoning DayZ, his reputation is ruined because of it. If someone doesn't get Asylums issues straight Asylum will die. When that happens I still think hundreds of people who hated the end result of Asylum will go put Paratus on blast through social media potentially killing his dream game.
    I don't hate Paratus for wanting to Develop his own game, but he could have done a far better job ensuring that we as a Community were in a better spot in terms of Development, and for that reason in particularly I lost respect for him.
