    This is mainly a coniuation for SRT getting better personal protect such as CSATS and Granite's that can be found here: 

    The conversation's main focus led to this post being made and that adjustments needed to be made. The armor that we currently have is insufficient, with a simple one-bullet leg shot doing the average SRT enjoyer in. This does not help because most SRT members use 5.56mm and 6.5mm. The last comment mentioned on the previous thread stated, "Adding Granite B's/CSAT/Pilot coveralls for SRT has been an ongoing conversation for some time that we have yet to reach a consensus on." So let's end that debate here with a poll!
    Other solutions have been voiced in TS and on the forums, so I'll start the list of what has been suggested thus far. As always, new input from everyone is greatly appreciated.
    Allow SRT to have CSATS/Granite Bs as an additional payment option. Normally, each respawn will cost you 5k. Make it so that it is increased to 10K as an option to use extra protection to balance. (Personally, not a fan of this since an uncap is 20k already, and depending on the type of day you're having, it will be more of a loss than it's worth.) Allow SRT to UNLOCK CSATS/Granite B at around 50 kills. This way, you'll spawn with the usual SRT default gear and change it out later at the vendor with no additional cost. There are others that I'm clearly forgetting, but this is an excellent vehicle to work with regarding this conversation and possible solutions. I would also like to hear from a developer perspective as well so that I can get more of an understanding of the tech side of things. Thanks for reading if you did!

    Increase kill payouts for Srt. At the moment you only get 1k per kill not enough for the 5k respawn fee +2k vehicle fee, i suggest maybe increasing it from 1k to 2k per kill.

From reward structure to quality of life, it currently lacking incentive to play on SRT especially to those who are new and would like to give the faction a shot. Now, at the time of writing, there isn't much in the way of rewards once you pass that 500 kills. I want to propose not only to help improve the quality of life gameplay but to add on more rewards unique to SRT/Cops that we can work towards and make the effort of playing S2 as an SRT member more worth it.
    Better equipment Current start gear offers what is effectively SWAT gear. Given that you start with that set of gear and that if you're a new player to S2, starting with an MK20 is incredibly painful to work with when you're starting out as an SRT. A way to fix this is that we could make CSAT or pilot coveralls to give some form of better protection. Ways to work with this idea or rather a compromise is that you would buy the pilot coveralls/CSAT for that better protection; It's also a suitable method of money sinking. Vehicles in my opinion are fine the way they are, as long as we get some form of general protection that's effective would go a long way in this.
    Reward structure The method of unlocking better guns (ignoring MK20 fuck that gun) is solid however adding another gun unlock at 1k to replace what was the 50 Cal truck would be greatly appreciated. Another idea to add on rewards is titles. Something else for us to acquire while playing, similar to the civilian side is to unlock a title to show off on S1 and S2 to give that incentive to keep grinding and working towards for those who are completionism or would like to be unique. It was already approved in @shawn's post (Thanks buddy!) but I wanted to place it here to get some additional feedback for those who are interested. Also when we get kills in hot zone, can we get that bonus money like the civilian faction gets with blood money would be also appreciated.

    Event Description
     
    Welcome to Part 1 of April's Community Challenge!  During this event, Civilians and APD will compete amongst themselves to see who can process and seize the most drugs.  If you feel like you're up to the challenge you may register yourself with the link at the bottom of the post, and don't worry, you can sign yourself up for both APD and Civilian if you'd like!  Civilians will compete with each other and try to process as many drugs as they possibly can before the end of the event, APD will compete with each other to try and seize the most amount of drugs as they possibly can as well. The event will start on 4/8/2023 at 12:01 AM EST and end on 4/15/2023 at 11:59 PM EST
     
    Rules
     
    - Only drugs that can be sold at the drug dealer will be counted, so anything you sell at Wong's Triad will not count, Crank will also not count as it can be done remotely and safely. Weed will not count whether it is legal or not.
    - Each drug processed will count as 1 point, taking any drugs to Purification Factory and processing them there will count for 2 points, ie. You process 1 cocaine and then take it to Purification Factory and process it again it will total up to 3 points, any drugs lost from Drug Cartel tax or Missing Talent tax will not count for points.
    - No funneling unprocessed drugs to a single person you are either in a gang with or associated with.  You will be caught.  First time you are caught doing this will result in a warning and removal of any points gained from funneled drugs, second time will result in a disqualification from the event.
    - Drugs seized by cops will only count if it is into evidence at an HQ. Any drugs seized from a failed evidence lockup raid will not count.
    - People will have to individually sign up by the 4/7/2023 11:59 PM EST
     
    Rewards
     
    1st Place Civilian: 5 Crate Keys of their choosing, 1m Cash, 5k infamy
    2nd Place Civilian: 750k Cash, 4k infamy
    3rd Place Civilian: 500k Cash, 3k infamy
    1st Place APD: 5 Crate Keys of their choosing, 1m Cash, 20k Prestige
    2nd Place APD: 750k Cash, 15k Prestige
    3rd Place APD: 500k Cash, 10k Prestige
    If any rank lower than Corporal places top 3 they may receive extra cash/keys in exchange for not being able to obtain Prestige.

    Not a bad idea, only issue I see is maybe a warning for new players? DOnt need people with 50k trying to play Dom, getting ripped 600m away, losing everything and never being seen again

    maybe the type 115 with the 50cal rounds? Rebels can already get it for blood money and its pretty op, maybe more than 1000 kills tho, or make them rlly expensive

    Suggestion: Can we make a system that allows us to look at how many kills/deaths we have as a total? That way we have an idea how many kills we need to get a new weapon, title, etc

    I think the weapons SRT has access to is fine and the only thing that really needs to be added is PCov's and Granite's.

    Please add granita/PCovs to SRT and please don’t tell me there over powered half of the players don’t even have MK1’s so if your dying to a SRT guy with CSAT with a Mk20 or a MX you need to uninstall the game plain and simple.
