    bounty hunters and undercover cops are suppose to be hidden in plain site.
    if a medic is wearing a gun, its not a real medic, its someone in stolen medic clothing.
    also if you want more roleplay, you should try to inspire others to do it by weaving a amazing story yourself. but bottom line : minimum rp server.

    If a police officers has deemed your charges to be valid and you are being issued a citation for an illegal act, whether it be theft or murder it makes sense that you are required for forfeit your firearm and license as well as another items deemed illegal by the Altinian Government.  Its very common in most places to revoke ones firearms license for crimes that fall into those categories.  Once you have paid your ticket and go on your way you are free to pay the licensing fees for a new weapons license and new weapon since you are no longer wanted.
    Police uniforms and vehicles stand out just fine, hell you can even tell who is undercover and who isnt fairly easy.
    Medics cannot have guns, the server actually prevents it. Nothing stops someone from robbing a medic for their clothes tho.

    So i'm apparently notorious for being a dick cop in game... however apparently the FSA guys find it rather funny that I'm nothing like that in RL..

       Part of the problem with showing reports to a player is the risk of retaliation or harassment. This is why the evidence is not shared in some cases. The best bet is to shadowplay/save video of something questionable. Especially if you rdm and comp someone. We all screw up but sometimes someone gets reported after they acknowledge their mistake and comp.
       On a few occasions I have had people contact me and say "hey I initiated and x player said he was gonna report, I offered comp" Yada yada. In that situation sometimes you can get both parties in TS and squash it.

    In the situation you explain the cops were at fault.
    However if this has actually happened depends on the video proof you should submit at a player report.
    This is not for the public to determine, only by administrators.

    The Airfields with the drug dealers will be treated as illegal areas for officers, only to be patrolled once every 10-20 minutes.
    This does not mean that they are shoot on sight areas for cops. Initiation is a must!

    I want to apologize to Mr.purple for banning him based on this video evidence. In all my time as an admin, I've never been bamboozled on a player report. The person who submitted this player report spliced the video to cut out Mr.Purple initiating. This person will be dealt with. Once again, I'm sorry @MrPurple. Ban will be lifted immediately.

    This update is so that we can roll cartels into places that we couldn't previously.  I do have the ability to change both features independently, but the disabling of crates is so that people don't glitch into your crates in what would be an unlocked house (come next week).  We will certainly entertain having varying distances for all 3 features though.  My concerns are the following:  
    Allowing people to spawn inside (or very close to) an active cartel is unfair.   Allowing people to lock themselves inside a house in the cap zone would be unfair.   Allowing everyone access to someone's crates when they can't lock their house is just silly.   Again, I'm willing to make this more granular - this was just round one of the implementation.  This is so that we can put cartels in more locations.  You guys are thinking about what houses cost (and usability of houses) in an area that may or may not be a cartel soon.

    MH-9 Hummingbird: 0.5 tonnes (500kg) PO-30 Orca: 2 tonnes (2000kg) WY-55 Hellcat: 2 tonnes (2000kg) UH-80 Ghost Hawk: 4 tonnes (4000kg) CH-49 Mohawk: 4 tonnes (4000kg) Huron: 10 tonnes (10 000kg) Taru: 12 tonnes (12 000kg) The Mohawk lacks the lift to get anything bigger than a box truck due to the weight of the bigger vehicles.  Paratus and I have discussed this at length in the past because I too love stealing people's vehicles and flying away with them.  We have a few things we can do to try to make it work, and I'll get back into that next week to see if we can try to make something happen.

    I've said it before and I said it again, if you're surprised that cops return to the scene for a 2nd, 3rd, 8th, 15th time, then you don't understand how engagements work, because escaping and getting out of the fed/bank/prison/firefight is an essential part of the win condition.  If you're still in the same spot when the cops return for the 8th time, you should have gotten the hell out of dodge a long time ago.  (And if they were taking that long to lethal you, sounds like they made a real honest attempt to catch you.)
    You can't just start a prison break, kill one wave of cops and expect to "win".  (If that was the intended design, Paratus would have enforced a new life ruling a long time ago.)  You gotta get out of the prison and get out alive to win. 
    I don't mind the reduced payout from lethals, but that never affected my decision to go lethal in the past so it will continue to not affect me.  Maybe the money hungry rebels who play cop once a month will think twice before going lethal, and if that's the intended purpose of the change then yes I hope it does exactly that.
