Gatorade
Title. Needed a decent headset that was kind of cheap , getting tired of my siberia v3's cutting my ears now. Was thinking about Logitech G430 for like 39.99\ or maybe Corsair - VOID SE Wireless Gaming Headset - Yellowjacket for like 79.99 Edited February 25, 2017 by Sugarfoot Cre likes this Link to comment
Axe
I bought textbooks off Amazon used. But never electronics. I havent bought "used electronics" ever. Only ever refurbs from the company themselves. It would really depend on the warranty/return policy the seller is offering. Ghouh likes this Link to comment
Axe
Also. Hyper X Cloud 2s are amazing for 99.00 New. I've put in all 6k hours wearing these. 12+ hrs days, I forget they're there. I had the worst experience with wireless headsets. FozzyBear, varex, Björn Winsmore and 4 others like this Link to comment

Which means amazon is the middle man and there is normally some sort of warranty if said item doesn't work. I recently bought Plantronics Gamecons 788's off amazon "used" / Refurbished whatever u want to call it. I never have any problems with anything used I buy off amazon. W00bzy
Friend has a pair of G430's. not bad but the mic is awful. They're comfortable but the sound quality is definitely what you pay for. Link to comment

Its a nice thing to have if you travel because of its earphones swivel. I would go for something better like a Hyper x2. You will get more for your monies worth. Cre
I personally avoid gaming headsets. Opted for a pair of studio headphones and a mod-mic! It pays off to do research instead of just opting for a "gaming" headset because it has the word "gaming" in it. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Superlux-HD668B-Headphones/dp/B003JOETX8 https://www.amazon.com/Antlion-Audio-ModMic-Attachable-Microphone/dp/B00T6XUL8S I'd highly recommend reading this: https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/4nabvv/gaming_audio_and_you_why_995_of_gaming_headsets/ Watch this too: Azeh and Norwegianviking like this Link to comment

Scott
I went through 4 or 5 pairs of g430s before I got my hyper x cloud 2's. All the plastic on the Logitech headsets causes tons of issue. I've had the arms holding the ear cups snap, the headband snap, the audio stop working, not worth the trouble IMO. Squirtle
are u into the mic and headset separated. I like my sennheiser hd 598 and my razer Siren. wireless sucks when the battery gets old and doesnt hold a good charge anymore. Link to comment
Shade
Go w/Audio Technica or Sennheiser IMO. Get a used pair of ATH M50x's if possible and then an AntLion modmic (cheaper versions available w/out all the bells) to go with it. https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-M50x-Professional-Monitor-Headphones/dp/B00HVLUR86 https://www.amazon.com/Antlion-Audio-ModMic-Attachable-Microphone/dp/B00R98JVVU/ OR If you really want a headset w/mic, get a Sennheiser of some sort, their products are sturdy/top notch. I've had the 350D before (unnecessary to get any soundcard) and it worked quite well/stood up to abuse. But if you buy another gaming headset it will probably be as shit as you expect. Hyper X headsets are basically trash but I'm not a fan of the closed style. Link to comment
