  1. I've seen an increase in people having issues with BE kicks and I honestly think it's somehow connected to the recent DDoS attacks Asylum has been facing. Nonetheless, I would still recommend you these steps: Restart your router and change your IP. If for some reason your current connection is jacked up, this should "get rid of the mess". Restart your computer to make sure any Battleye services are force-terminated and start running from scratch when you open the game again. In case none of that works, go to your Arma 3 folder and delete any Battleye folders you find there. Delete any Battleye folder found on your computer, especially under any "Common Files" folder or temporary folders (AppData/Local). After that, open up Steam, go to Arma 3 properties and "Verify integrity of game files" to rebuild Battleye folders and files, the ones you deleted. Let me know if they were helpful in your case or not!
  2. I would get in touch with them for better and more personalized support: https://www.battleye.com/contact/ Just select "User Support" on the dropdown list. Good luck!
  3. Battleye not responding usually has to do with the anticheat service itself or something network related. I would try the following: Restart your router and change your IP. 4. Don't worry! I'm sure this community is sending you enough prayers so you can make through it. Get well soon, man!
  5. I'm very sorry for your loss, man! I lost a family member last year too. Asylum helped me (at some degree) to blow some steam off and distract my mind in that rough time. Welcome back! I hope you can have some fun again!
  6. Hey, welcome! Not sure if you're aware but the community has a special wiki that you can consult whenever you want. Just click here. There you can check out guides related to bounty hunting and bank/fed. Those should give you an idea of how they work and what you need to do them. You can find me on Discord (BlackShot#7460) if you have any questions, I'll be glad to help! Good luck starting off!
  7. It's a feature. It's not meant to work for you.
  8. It's a bit more annoying to press Shift + L while driving rather than scroll wheel and press spacebar, but it's no big deal. I guess I just gotta get used to it.
  9. Clicking "Cop Enter as Gunner" unlocks the vehicle instead of putting you in the proper seat.
  10. Can't bully if you get modqueued.
  11. I don't think I owe you any explanation about my playtime, but let's kill two birds with one stone then. I'm BlackShot, I'm Brazilian and I joined Asylum in 2015. I spent some time off for personal reasons but returned the next year, in 2016. I have been playing Asylum since then. I also have near five thousand hours on Arma 3 and most of that time I spent here, on the servers. When it comes to what I did or do online, I occasionally translate softwares and apps, I've had servers in a couple of games - including Arma 3, which was a relatively large life server, mostly for Portuguese-speaking players - and I've also been a moderator for CrossFire South America. In real life, I currently attend Law university and work as a teacher for teens and adults. As you can see, because of my limited time on weekdays, I chose to invest all the free time I had - after I joined the Support team - into sitting in TeamSpeak to help with players' requests, instead of opening the game and wandering around Altis. However, when being on TeamSpeak wasn't possible, I would still check the forums every day, as well as my Discord. It's a pity you never had the chance to reach before. If you care to check some of my contributions here on the forums, feel free to visit my profile and navigate through my old posts, Tony. But as I said, you'll be limited to my posts. Of course you won't see the times I've helped people through TeamViewer, the time I translated all of Asylum rules to Portuguese as an attempt to reduce rule-breaking or anything like that. I guess what matters is how long I can spend in game making myself known to as many people as I can, right? 🤔 If you wanna know more, I'll be happy to talk to you sometime. For everyone else, thanks for all the positive words! I'll always be available somewhere: forums, Discord, TeamSpeak or in-game. Hit me up whenever you want, even if it's just to chat!
  12. I can safely say Asylum has been a great place for many areas of my life, and without it I truly don't know how many good things I would've achieved and how many great friends I would've made. Thanks for always being helpful! Thanks for always being a really fun and humble person! And, finally, thanks for keeping Asylum alive, @Clint Beastwood!
  13. What @Gen. Henry Arnold said. Most of the players who speak Portuguese in Asylum are Brazilian. There are Portuguese people who play, sure, but it's a minority and it's harder to find them, especially on the forums.
  14. Don't know where you got that list from, but the only thing the US "assisted" Brazil in was brutally undermining the country's democracy amongst a paranoid fear of seeing it being taken by "the commies". The military took over power and forcefully removed a legitimately elected president. Right after that, media began getting censored and many individuals got summarily arrested, tortured or killed. Even kids. Democracy was restored after decades of protest and resentment, among other things. Would definitely not call that a "success".
  15. Glad to know the lag part is gone! For the rest, probably something to do with game files (like you said) or graphic card (try using DDU to completely uninstall your drivers and download them again). If none of the instructions we gave you here work, send Bohemia a ticket. They'll keep debugging the issue by sending you instructions until you - hopefully - eliminate the problem.
  16. I was gonna suggest you to update your graphic card drivers but it looks you did much more than that. I'm really running out of ideas here. However, I'd suggest you to change your launch parameters again. It really does look like some sort of memory leak. Here are some of my parameters and instructions (I used to have performance issues similar to yours in the past): Platform: default (64-bit) Extra threads (with every option inside marked): UNCHECKED Enable hyper-threading: CHECKED Memory allocator (64-bit): UNCHECKED Enable large-page support: CHECKED System memory limit: UNCHECKED Try different screen modes (fullscreen, windowed fullscreen etc.) Try changing memory allocator (64-bit) to Intel TB4 if the above doesn't work Good luck!
  17. Dammit, they look neat! Awesome job, @GO7NEY and @Boon!
