Gang Wars VI 
With a new stream lined gearing and TP system to reduce overall time, we will be hosting Gang Wars 6 on October 27th
This post is to inform you of the details we have so far and to allow you a chance to plan your rosters.
The goal is to have this happen all in 1 day, from 12:00pm PST - 6:00pm PST (7:00pm GMT - 1:00am GMT)
The first fight will start at 12:00pm PST October 27th

Setup/Fights/Prizes
12 Minute timer on All fights. No exceptions. If the timer runs out, the team with the most people inside the cap at the end of the timer will win that round. If both teams are tied, the round will go to the defending team. Even if the attacking team has more people alive but not more people in the cap, Win will still go to the defending team.
The fights will be 10v10 with 3 subs on the roster
Every Match will be Best of 3, and the Final match will be BO5
Each team will have 5 minutes to get every player connected to the server, once the clock is out, no more will be allowed to join
1st place
Cash prize - $5million (500k per person)
      Secondary prize - Each player on the roster will have an Ifrit, 50, or Orca added to their civilian garage
Gang Wars winners prize : TBD (Aiming for something cool)
2nd place
Cash prize - $1million (100k per person) 
     Secondary prize - Each player on the roster will have an Ifrit or Orca added to their civilian garage
 
Gear/Vehicles
Everyone will have a scroll option to change between the MK18 or MK1 with an RCO, ARCO, and an MRCO in the backpack provided. 
All players will have the same clothing and vest (No CSATS) when they select their choice of weapon
Attackers will be provided 2 ifrits
Defenders will be provided with 1 ifrit
No other vehicles or guns will be spawned in
 
Eligibility/Rosters
Must not be permed on the Asylum Servers for 3rd party apps/scripting/lagswitching/global. All other ban types, perm or not will be accepted
Player will be bound to 1 roster and may not fight with multiple gangs.
Rosters must be submitted by Wednesday October 24th 11:59PM PST with 10 starters and are allowed 3 subs
I will be allowing changes to your roster until that date they are due by
Must have a minimum of 8 players on your roster
Roster changes after this time will not be allowed. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS You will either fight with who you have or forfeit. If a player is not on the roster, then they will not participate with that team
Gang leaders will be responsible for submitting their rosters. The names you put on the sign up form MUST be the same you use in game on event day. Players with names that are not on the roster sheet, will be kicked from the server, matching PIDs or not. No exceptions

Other Rules and Guidelines
 Any teams caught harboring a ban evader on their roster will be disqualified immediately
 All Asylum rules will be in effect (No VDM, Exploiting etc)
 All players must be in the Asylum Teamspeak for the event

If a player disconnects mid fight, the player or the sub will have to wait until the next round join back in the fight

Hello all,
I wanted to take a moment to let you know that I have made the decision to retire from the Admin team. It has been a great joy, and I've learned a ton. I truly hope that I have left some sort of mark here, for better or for worse. I won't be too much of a stranger. Where ever Asylum is headed as a whole, I have no idea. But I wish you all the best. And for the love of god, take it easy on the admin team. You are all too damn harsh.

The Federal Reserve is expecting a delivery of 36 gold bars (Valued at $1,287,000) to the reserve later tonight. The bars are being shipped in from over seas and will be offloaded at the docks at Kavala Police HQ. The State will be employing the Altis Police Department for transport and security of the delivery to the reserve. The APD will be transporting the cargo in 2 separate HEMTT Boxes escorted by multiple armored vehicles stacked with officers equipped with only DOWNING AMMUNITION. 
The event will be starting in roughly 1 hour on server 1 (9pmPST) POSTPONED until 10PM by popular vote
Rules
The APD will be escorting the gold bars and are clear to shoot on sight. However, you will need to follow standard initiation with other civilians before engaging with them. 
The APD's primary goal is to deliver the gold bars to the reserve safely. They will be using strictly downing ammunition and will NOT be restraining. 
 
The event will be held on server 1

I understand that the summer has not been as great as many had wished for. I wish there were words that I could say to put everyone at ease.
 
But to be frank, there isn't.
 
However, we can all stand around the fire and continue to focus on what is bad, or not good. Or we can decide to focus on what is good. And to be frank, I don't care for us to be compared to Olympus. Sure, they have some amazing features, and some skilled developers, there is no denying that. I just don't see the purpose of it. Neither company's strive to be each other. Moving on.
 
We are getting hit by the ever so amazing summer's end slow down. But this slow down really sucks. I find it very frustrating to see the servers have low pops. I really wish the people from Server 3 didn't have to migrate to an new server to enjoy Asylum. However, some things are out of my control. It's my fear that a majority of our veteran players still cannot understand that the Admin team and the Development team are separate when it comes to these things. We all work tirelessly to get features implemented. Some things happen and some don't. That's called life. We have some stuff in the oven, and I'm hopeful that it's done cooking soon. But I won't lie to you, and I'll beat the edgy kids around here to the punch. No update will bring us to full servers if we continue to implode. The unrelenting amount of B.S that seems to float around is exhausting. You all need to take it easy on each other. The members of the community and staff don't wish to be your virtual punching bag. Do you think that people have lost interest here? You are not wrong, they have. I have a lot more to say here. But I'll spare further comment as I have to run.
 
TLDR Thanks for being here at Asylum. Strive to make the fun you wish to see. Be a positive influence.
