Please let us know if vehicles aren't saving properly through restarts, etc...

    Bamf and gnashes did an amazing job & asylum wouldn't be here without their dedication, over time thousands of hours work takes a lot out on people. Torches being passed helps the flames stay burning bright!    So its awesome to get all of good old boys back, & keep the great ones we have!  Woot woot

    When I got mod back in 2017, personal issues forced me away from the game. I couldn’t keep my responsibility going, and I left Asylum. 
    When I finally returned to gaming this year, Asylum was a shell. The servers dead, the game rotting away as more and more people decided they couldn’t justify their time on here anymore. 
    But now things are different. They’ve changed. Parasitetus no longer has his hand around the neck of Asylum, and our good friend Bamf is finally at rest. We have new overlords, one of whom I know personally cares immensely about this game, and a developer who actually might fix the issues that long plagued Asylum. 
    Houses are being purchased and fights are being fought. Legends are returning, Fred is back, the APD is once again fearing the dual war machines of Prime and Synergy, and to top it all off, we’re most likely no longer going to have a money or group cap. Massive meth runs baby! 
    As for me, I’m going to attempt to work up the staff chain again, maybe even the APD. Maybe I’ll start doing some APD trainings again as our popularity brings in more people? Who knows. 
    All I know is that I’m incredibly excited to see how 2019 Asylum plays out, and I think it might be one of our best years yet.

    I hope everybody is having a Merry Christmas with their family. This morning was a hard one for me when I woke to the news of a 21 year old firefighter Natalie Dempsey was killed in a car accident while responding to a fire call.     Hey all,

    Wanted to give a bit of an update sooner.. been busy with work all weekend. I just finished my last workday today and got some OT that I probably will have to work on Wednesday. That being said, hopefully we'll have an update out here very soon...

    The major thing that I'm currently working on is pulling out A2Net from the server. Currently the only thing it's being used for is to run batch files for restarts. I just had to get some time to make some new batch files to handle restarts and work on making the like literal 10 restart files in to 1 so that it's all in one place. I have been working on some changes for the last hour or two and have made good progress. Actually testing out the new restart setup now.
    We've made some changes to various settings and configuration details that seem to have helped the server somewhat. However, we are aware of the lockups which are currently caused from high RAM usage. We're working on figuring out the issue with that. Mass Kicks due to population seem to be resolved, now you just get mass kicked when the server doesn't have the ability to think for itself.
    Regardless, feel that out of the gate we're starting strong. Like Clint stated earlier, thank you all for keeping faith and helping keep numbers up. I have a lot of logs to skim through to hopefully see a consistent factor, while also trying to work on other stuff as well. I ask that you guys have a bit of patience. Hopefully we'll have the issues fixed or at least found within the next 14 days or so.
