    Today we are releasing a new crate:  Aggressor.  This crate is exclusively vehicle skins - mainly Ifrits in many colors with some higher end skins in the blue and purple range.  Here are the new skins coming into the game today:

    Additional items in this patch:  
    APD Corporal+ members can now buy APD (and UC) Prowlers.  Make sure to follow the APD guidelines for their use!   APD now have more hat choices You can not form a gang from a house that is for sale on the market Drilling oil will now properly fill the inventory of a vehicle at maximum levels

    A few more tweaks, but they were big enough to go ahead and make this a new version:  
    Robbing the Bank of Altis now gives you banded bank notes.  There are dye packs in the notes preventing you from breaking them up into cash, but once that timer wears off the proceeds of the robbery can be deposited into any ATM.   The Federal Reserve is now capable of holding slightly more gold reserves before it is filled. Box trucks and crank labs will now have the appropriate inventory capacity. The secondary bridge at the prison now is more fortified.  The secondary bridge at the prison no longer has a flickering effect.   You can now drop "unavailable" bounty hunter missions by clicking drop without selecting a bounty The damage handler has been tweaked to be much more efficient. (If you notice oddities, please report them in the bug reporting section) Servers 2 and 3 will now run with a lower overall population value.   The federal reserve now holds 33% more gold.  Both laser tag and rally races have been removed (at least temporarily).   The laser tag arena has been removed from the map.   Hotfix 1:
    "Donor town" has moved ~500m NE to Therisa.  All city services still exist in the new location, but now there are multiple spawn points inside the area.   One of the Black Market production areas has been relocated to Orino.  This should make it easier to use the feature.   Cartel fridge containers will now save the dirty money contents through a restart.   Fixed a bug that should make the prison break mechanic more reliable now. Box truck skins should work as intended.   Hotfix 2:
    The wanted system has been re-written in game to be more optimized.  We hope this will help with overall network traffic sent to and from the server to each client.   You should be able to execute players near the bank while it is being robbed The ability to use protest signs are removed (for now) A few other miscellaneous bug fixes Let an admin/dev know if something seems off in the wanted system.  We have made major changes to this system with this hotfix.  
    Hotfix 3:
    Fixed error in the damage handler that caused undesired behavior with vehicle damage Fixed various script errors that could be encountered while joining the mission IR Laser behavior has now been reversed for police LT+. Off = Down, On = Kill Various serverside optimizations

    A quick update to address a few quality of life items on the rebel side:  
    The federal reserve has been reinforced with razor wire on top of most areas of the sandbags.   The Bank of Altis has moved back to Pyrgos.   The price of gold bars has increased.   Orca crafting prices have been adjusted due to the change in Orca purchase price.   Misc. bug fixes.   Hotfix 1:
    Changed the barbed wire at the federal reserve.  Still a work in progress. Changed the radius for the bank robbery charge to better fit the area in Pyrgos. Added a marker to show the illegal area when the bank is being robbed in Pyrgos. Patched a window at the bank.

    These notes are not overly huge, but there are a few things here that have been requested:  
    Orcas and Hellcats now cost less money. The damage handler for Orcas has been removed.  BIS has allowed glass to become damaged now, so we will see how this plays in a live environment.   The damage handler for RPGs has been removed.  You pay $50k for an RPG rocket, we're going to treat it like a suicide vest in terms of boom potential (for now).   The custom damage handler for Vans has been removed since BIS tweaked how they handle damage in the Arma engine.   Putting a restrained player in a car should work better now.   You should be able to lockpick a player by scroll wheel now.   Added some additional backend logging to try to figure out why server restarts are less reliable with the current Arma patch.   We are working on some more major game enhancements in the background, but I wanted to drop a few things in tonight.

    Opfor has been introduced to the game!

    Drug Lord:
    The following attributes apply to drug lord:
    Expert Smuggler talent (up to rank 3): 3.3% increased payout for selling drugs to any main city drug dealer 10% increased vehicle Y inventory 50% reduced cut taken by cartels Drug lords have a chance to gain an additional unprocessed drug during collection  
    Pilferer:
    The following attributes apply to pilferer:
    Drill Technician talent (up to rank 3): 5% reduced duration to rob the Bank of Altis 10% more laundered money from bank robberies (Pilferer must start the robbery) 50% reduced store robbery cooldown, and 50% increased payout Pilferers have a chance to steal Y inventory and items in clothing when they rob someone  
    Guerilla:
    The following attributes apply to guerilla:
    The Warden talent (up to rank 3): 5% reduced duration for Prison Breaks Hardened Criminal talent: 20% chance to avoid 5 minute revive sickness when revived by a non professional Can purchase .50 Cals and RPGs from Rebel Outpost 10% increased payout from cartel containers 20% reduced chance for police to be alerted when you interact with an NPC When Guerillas wake up at a hospital, they wake up in Donor Town at the medic Opfor miscellaneous:
    Opfor receive increased base HP (on par with police base HP) 20% chance to not trigger speeding cameras  
    General misc. changes:
    After choosing Blufor (police) or Opfor (rebel), you are locked to that option for 24 hours Drug collecting has reverted to it's original state, no longer requiring you to look around / walk in circles to gather drugs Finally fixed the broken visuals for many clothing options Durga has pointed out over the past 6 months

    Sooo.. If anyone want's an admin pov of all this.
    Let's start with the Wolf guy who got subbed in before the gang war was supposed to start. Jaconite texted Smarty about the change they had to do because they would miss one player if they didn't sub him in. Smarty did not see the message so they assumed it was fine to do, I totally understand they want to play in the gang wars 10v10. I were helping them checking PID's and then I see Wolf's playerid don't match with one of the players in the registration. And we thought about DQ'ing Insomnia off the bat. And the reason for that it's clearly stated in the rules for the wars, if the pid's don't match you will be DQ'd. But then I talked with Jaconite and the told me him texted Smarty about the problem, Smarty could not remember it, but he closed the message before giving them a reply. Im not blaming anyone for this, but Smarty got spammed hard yesterday like anyone else, alot of people wanted to talk with him about everything. I told Smarty we should let them play but take Wolf out.
    And when it comes to the VDM......
    I were talking with Jaconite a little bit yesterday after the gang wars. And as I told him aswell, the only true problem was the gang member shooting the guy who got rammed with the ifrit. And I have to admit it looks a little bit like an accident. Hard to tell cause of the camera angle. But everyone know's what can happen in the heat of the moment, we have all fucked up one or twice. What he did is also clearly stated in the rules, VDM is not allowed in any case. And as said accidents can happen, the only true problem was the guy who shot the rammed guy. So everyone have to try and look at this from both sides, ofc the DQ'd team will be upset/mad about getting DQ'd. And ofc the other team feels it's deserved.
    Im not taking any side in this, but remember it's impossible to make everyone pleased. Atleast on Asylum  
    Please keep this thread semi clean and it wont be locked.

    Although it's not yet over, I would like to thank @Survivalizer @Reapered @Norwegianviking @Mitch (IFRIT) @Sugarfoot @Sandwich @Smarty @Roicesb @Rodrigo @Olio & everyone else who gave their weekend away (and probably the next one) to make this event happen. They put up with a lot of shit and most of us don't realize how big of a task organizing such an event is. I appreciated this event a lot and there were a lot of amazing moments. Can't wait for the finals!
     
    Please keep the thread free of any flaming, these guys put in a lot of work for us and I don't think this is the place to talk about issues that happened within gang wars.
     
     
    I find it amazing how it united us all - never seen so many people in one channel (60+) (aside from TS public)
