+1 weekend event rather than full time. Also Tanoa with jets but limited to 2/3 per side. 

I also think Strife will only work if it's up only on a Saturday for a few hours, which if this was the case I would also bring back the money Strife use to make people

Alright. You folks can't figure out how to read. I just wanted to see what others thought on the idea and to hear the in and out of it all. But clearly me saying WE ARE NOT WIPING was not clear enough. Thank you to those who understood this.

I love all of the admins voting yes like they will have to work for any of their money

Only issue with a wipe is it can literally  make or break the server. If this was like exile or dayz or some shit then it wouldnt be a big deal but with life mods its life or death. Asylum lost a shit tonne when they changed the money and reduced cap to 10mill and that was only money they touched, so bare that in mind.
 

I often wish that a wipe was a part of the life cycle on arma. But I've never seen any major server do it successfully. 
THIS IS NOT ME SAYING WE ARE GOING TO WIPE. 
But I have had multiple conversations with others who have been on both sides of the argument.. so I wanted to see where the line was at with everyone else around here.
 
 

On July 18 we will be conducting public testing of STRIFE between 3 PM and 7 PM EST. For those unaware, STRIFE is an Arma 3 game mode created by Paratus that was initially released in 2017 and later shut down. Its code has since been rewritten and the plan is to give it another go.
Currently the only map available is Malden, however adding support for Tanoa wouldn't take very long.
A test database will be used for these four hours of testing. This means that none of your Life progress is carried over, however normally your progress (primarily money) would be carried over.
From the initial 2017 announcement:
STRIFE is an extension of Asylum's Life, bringing your Life character into the ranks of the military in a full-scale war. Conquer the island of Tanoa Malden for amazing rewards on Altis and put your Life cash to good use in bringing down the enemy.
STRIFE is based on a front-line capture and finally brings all of Arma's assets to the hands of the Asylum community.

The goal of the game mode is to capture every objective on the map. There are two teams, OPFOR and BLUFOR, and each team starts the war with an equal amount of objectives owned. These objectives are terminals placed across the map which must be hacked. When a hack is started, the owner of the objective must regain control of the objective by restoring it, otherwise the objective will be lost to the hacking team after 10 minutes.

So let me get this straight.
He shoots at you. You consider that enough to return fire but failed to kill the person. So now you report for RDM. Had you of killed him, how could you still report that for RDM? Idk when you started playing here, but that's been a thing since i started in 2015. What could we do better with a situation like this?

Make Arma 4 because Bohemia is taking too long
