New DLC additions

Creator dlcs act like mods on arma 3 unlike normal dlcs. Can’t join the server without the DLC unless it is setup with the compatibility mod offered on the workshop, which all players would need to have loaded.

in my opinion adding s2 will kill the server even more because right now with 1 server its not doing alright in normal days only in weekends

Yeah, all of these creator dlcs would basically be mods required to join.  As cool as all of this stuff is, there's plenty of stuff that we're cooking up that are cool as well.  If we were to go this route we might as well go full modded because it would have similar restrictions.

 

 

Yah we are not splitting the server pop. We have been down the road with Tanoa and Stratis and Malden, there is a reason none of these maps have long standing communities

May as well become fully modded if you guys are gonna be adding the dlc’s through mods. In the meantime can we get some of the stuff from the dlc added because I assume this decision will take some time

facts. it was ahead of its time. PCs back then were garbage and couldn't run it well which is why it didnt have a strong playerbase. Honestly as long as the mods can all be acquired through the default arma 3 launcher by using strictly steam workshop mods it shouldn't be a deterrent to new players at all. Me saying this isn't going to change anything however because asylum.
