there would have to be strict rules as to where the dog is allowed to be and how far it has to be from something to catch its attention (say if it were x amount of x drug in the area)

Can confirm, best K9 unit I ever had.  He would wear only a ghillie suit, bark, chase after criminals and then send frequent 911's so we knew the criminal's location.

@Trilligy was testing this a long ass time ago I don't know what he gathered from it but I'm assuming the devs already thought about it and weighed alot of possibilities but I do agree that this might potentially be a great feature.

IRRC admins used to control/spectate dogs way back in 4.0/5.0, but I remember talked to Daquan or someone back then (maybe Anders) who used to say it would either crash their client or the server. I can't remember, but I remember talking to an admin about this way back,

This would be great if we get a k9 slot instead of drug slot so your dog can sniff drugs and stuff.
