Absolutely not I'm afraid. The training officers received a most specific decree, "Thou shalt not host trainings upon the ends of the weeks, to include the days of Fri (Friday), Satur (Saturday), or Sun (Sunday)." It is important that we not violate this sacred order, lest we incur the wrath of the powers on high, whom reserve the sentence of death for those who transgress.

Wrote this just for you @Mitch

If you can speak to a captain and get permission for me to host a one on one or small group training on the weekend I would be more than happy to host it but as @Bilbo Bagginssaid we are not allowed to host normal trainings on weekends.

    EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
    THIS IS A CLARIFICATION
Terrorism Charge and Definition per APD Guidebook:
    Current Definition:
Applied when 3+ civilians assault a police HQ or government building (Does not apply to bank or fed). Due to the threat they pose, suspects may be sent straight to jail at officer discretion.
    New Clarified Definition:
Applied when 3+ civilians assault a police HQ or government building in an aggressive manner (Does not apply to federal event locations).
This can include 3+ coordinated individuals, armed, aggressively attacking an HQ therefore causing Police Officer's to fear eminent harm.
    Coordinated from a cop perspective.
Due to the threat they pose, suspects may be sent straight to jail at officer discretion.

    Officer Name: NewYork
    Officer Rank: Corporal
Description: Mature, knows his guidebook pretty well, and committed to the APD.  He's shown that he can handle stressful situations and keep a level head, I have no concerns when he covers a higher-up request or has to deal with upset or frustrated civilians. He's an old returning officer, has consistent playtime, and doesn't bring drama with him. Had a hiccup a few months ago and recently failed a mock cert, but I have no doubt he'll acquire it and even move up the APD ranks if he shows a desire to.

Where would the event take place?
    Bank--->Fed Reserve
What is the goal for the APD in this event?
Deliver a "Bank deposit to the Fed Reserve" , Cops would start at the bank building and transport/escort a large truck with 300k banded bank notes inside to the Federal reserve to store the cash. Similar to shipping there could be a delay when initiated and/or a time it has to be secured at the Fed Reserve.
    What should the payout be?
300k split between cops, 300k bank notes if civs steal it
Would there be any specific rules for the event?
A certain number of cops online Ex. (10) all would have to be present to start the event (maybe at least 1 SGT+), as well as a determined min civ pop as well to start
A tracker similar to shipping should mark the event vehicle

yes IF we catch everyone involved we get a payout IF none are lethaled by gangmates or cops or kill themselves then we get a fair payout from it but this being a cop started one there has to be incentive for us to willingly be involved in a fed

The event team is looking into a event that police can start similarly to shipping or other federal events.
We are looking for some input from the community on how this would work.
A few questions that need to be answered are:
Where would the event take place?
What is the goal for the APD in this event?
    What should the payout be?
Would there be any specific rules for the event?

Any feedback would be helpful, Thankyou

  18. curley liked a post in a topic by Kernikov in Allow officers to charge civilians for initiating/threatening each other.
Situation: An unarmed civilian "hands up or die"-s another civilian in front of you.

This is not illegal, and unless they draw a weapon or refuse a command from you, you cannot charge or ticket them.
It may be an empty threat or there may be a second person with a bead on them, you don't know.

For an officer, it doesn't matter because you can charge them with "Threatening an Officer".

I argue that it should be as it used to be:

Civilians should feel a bit more safe with cops around.

    Disarming a civilian:
Officers now have the option to disarm a civilian if they are caught escorting another player in Police restraints.  Officers do not need to give warning to this.   Retired Captains:
Retired Captains may now give disciplinary action to APD officers if they are found to be violating APD Guidelines.  Current Captains may still overrule disciplinary action given out by Retired Captains if they deem it necessary. APD Staff Retirement:
You must serve 6 active months in total as an APD staff member in order to retire.   Sergeant - 6 months If unable to complete 6 active months as a Sergeant - Demoted to Corporal with activities. Lieutenant & Captain - 6 months  If unable to complete 6 active months as Lieutenant or Captain - May retire from APD with previous rank if total active time served is 6 months or more.
