Get cpt and then you can do this.
  2. Nick liked a post in a topic by Bazzajack in The warrant slot
The biggest reason this slot goes unused is that it's inconvenient and doesn't work as smoothly as the others.

    Suggested changes:
    - New Y inventory  It's supposed to be a specialized slot yet it shares the same y inventory as the medic slot, this is annoying as when I use my blood bag, painkillers etc I run out as a medic only requires one, no point in buying more since I'll probably switch to medic soon and I'll have more than I need.
    - Re-deploying  Whenever you soft log to go to a bank, prison, fed you lose your bounty, meaning the last 20 mins of tracking them goes down the drain, to fix this if possible when in HQ replace the "Respawn" button with a "Redeploy" button which just brings up the HQ spawn point instantly as if you died and allows you to pick one to spawn at with all your gear.
    - Dropping bounty's  This one goes for bounty hunters too, when dropping a bounty sometimes you get the same one back making you wait another 5 mins to try and get a different bounty which is especially annoying when you can only have one at a time.
    - Incentive  All the other slots have a reason to play because they're special, but warrant really doesn't really have anything different it's just a cop slot so why not give them some better gear like carrier-lites and the Uav Drone (Removing the current talent for it and just opening it to the slot, Cpl+) or Give additional payouts for Arresting/ Ticketing an active bounty.
    - Cooperation  It would be nice if warrant officers could see each other's circles and be able to work together as the bounty hunters can.

Hopefully, changes like these would encourage people to actually use the slot. Thoughts?

These are really good numbers, haven't seen this happen in a long time. Let's keep them up so the dev team can fix the servers!

Why don't we have more craftables like electronics and such where you take silicon glass and gold and make that into computers or phones. We could even have something like uranium where you need hazmat suit and you can either make it into 238 or 235, 235 is illegal and sell to terrorist and 238 you sell to power plant and its legal.
Theres many things that could be done, question is will it be done.

RVs emitting smoke become KOS in the immediate area. So if you setup an RV, people can come up and shoot you without saying anything if your next to it.

  8. Nick liked a post in a topic by TRYHARD in How to Save the server....
Right now Asylum is currently sitting at 60-70 player average during peak times. I feel like at the current rate of Asylum's player base, and with even more permanent bans being put into place, Asylum will soon no longer be financially stable to be able to continue without running at a loss. These are the reasons why @bamf should do a mass unbanning.
    1. With players that were banned during 2014-2015, they will not have access to pilot coveralls and if they return to the server some of them will purchase crates in order to have them, not to mention some of them might want the ifrit skins as well. That will be a huge cash influx for @bamf
    2. You wouldn't have to deal with the banned players, you just got some new admins let them deal with the consequences for this mass unbanning.
    3. Did I mention more money?
As for why this mass unbanning would be helpful to the servers, here is a list of reasons why.
    1. Gangs that quit entirely because their leader or someone important in their gang was banned will come back and play on the servers, bringing more content and action for your current player base.
    2. Possibly more money will be donated to the community goals, making your community happy for all the discounts they will receive.
Here's how you could go about unbanning all these people. You completely wipe the entire FU list and let your admins unban people individually. If somebody comes along that didn't play asylum and all they did was script on the servers you could deny them because they weren't really a player in the first place.
We understand that Valkerie was sort of a test for unbanning douchebags but please don't let the selfish acts of 1 person ruin the chances of everybody else who truly want to come back to Asylum as a clean cut person.
The "FU list" as mentioned in the post is a ban list only the developers can access. Admins are currently unable to unban certain community members without getting the devs blessing. By wiping this list each admin can review cases on an individual basis.
@bamf if your biggest reason as to why you will not lift these bans is because you feel like it will lower the quality of life for your player base, then let the community decide if they wish to play with these players again.

this is one of the top laptops price performance comparison with everything you want as a student.
I don't know what you study, and how much you use a laptop, and you can cheaper if you really want, but this laptop will be viable for a good amount of years
be carefull with laptops they are fragile machines, i myself have the https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/1180743/asus-vivobook-s510un-bq434t/specificaties/, it works good and is very fast, but it has some downsides. (I would have bought the acer aspire if it was available in the netherlands)

It's kinda future proof since the ram is upgradable (I believe it comes with 1 x 8 GB, which means you could just buy another 8 GB for like 70 euros (idk how much in  ameri a) and it would be a very strong machine

Sure they cannot speak English the same way you cant speak Chinese. Atleast they will initiate rather than some English speakers who RDM VDM etc. They 911 gang has been on this server for a long time and they know the server rules pretty well and don't break them much often.
You wouldn't like it if i made fun of your language, religion or country would you?.

You know what is super cancerous is when there is two servers to choose from and both are lagging, mass kicking or about to mass kick. That is why i think server 3 should stay up 24/7 and they should lower the slot count to spread people out. Performance would be better, server 3 wouldn't only get 30-50 people when it's up.

Think about it, if the slots were reduced to 80, and server 1 and 4 are both full that would be potentially 40 extra players on 3. To me it sounds like it is undoubtedly the wiser choice. I think it is a question of pride, but that's just me.

  19. Nick liked a post in a topic by Clockwerk in Quick poll related to APD and lethals
Honestly the lethal pardon is just an escape for people and they just hide on a roof and stand up on purpose. I say remove the lethal pardon. Not only will it increase role play for the bounties, it will make cop and bounty hunting a lot more enjoyable cause we all know people want the big bounties. If anything just decrease the jail time for max bounties to something like 28-32 mins and im sure you'll see an increase in all factions of the game.
  20. Nick liked a post in a topic by Austin Rogers The Original in Quick poll related to APD and lethals
The whole reason the lethal payouts were reduced in the past was to lessen the incentive for police officers to lethal civilians because they felt they were being overused. While I feel that the current lethal rules are good the way they are in terms of when officers can automatically lethal such as unreachable locations, shooting from benches, 1 minute to restart etc... I do feel that there are many situations where lethal force is used when it should not. Misuse of lethals should be a more severe punishment and or the ability to vote for lethals should be only Sgt+ or alternatively only corporals voting when no Sgt+ is on the server.
On the topic of civilians losing their loadouts when being lethaled, I find that entire argument complete nonsense. When you buy a loadout you are taking the risk that you will lose the loadout when you lose the fight. Once you get into a fight regardless of who you are fighting whether it be a civilan, bounty hunter, or police officer you losing the fight is the same outcome. You losing your loadout. The fact that you "got lethaled" by a cop has nothing to do with the fact that you are losing your loadout. Most of the time not only are you taking the risk of using the loadout you purchased but the civ is also purposely putting themselves in a situation where they are going to be engaged by police officers. For instance bank, fed, store robberies, attacking an hq, committing a prison break etc...  Even if you get downed instead of lethaled, if the cops get you your still losing your loadout. If you end up getting lethaled solo with only a 5k bounty then you either put yourself into a position where the cop had no choice but to lethal you or the cop abused lethals. If the latter is the case then report the officer through the proper channels and it will be dealt with.
The real issue is that many civilians are constantly putting themselves in positions that force or heavily encourage the police officers to lethal them with the sole purpose of having their bounty cleared. There are many ways to do this including but not limited to, fighting on bank roof, ATM roof, or unreachable at bank, shooting from benches on helicopters, turning yourself in or engaging cops with 1 minute to restart, firing from unreachable locations, shooting from houses, and towers such as solar towers by airHQ chop-shop. The cop payout for lethals has already been reduced to the point that you might as well not get paid at all. Mechanics are in place that allow rebels to commit any amount of crimes they want and easily get full pardons. Yes I am aware there are ways to catch some of these criminals without the use of lethals such as using helicopters to reach players on roofs or unreachable locations but these options require an orca which is very expensive and they most often dont work either due to incompetent officers or too many heavily armed rebels. The point being that lethals should not be a way out of your crimes. Like I said earlier the entire "oh but im already losing my loadout so I deserve a pardon" makes no logical sense.
While I dont agree with the current revive system as it is and I certainly think it could be improved, it has been the same way for a long time and it isn't a huge problem. The most simple answer to this problem in my opinion is to simply remove both the payout and the pardon from lethaling a suspect. Changing some of the rules and punishments around the use of lethals could be beneficial but I have already mention how I feel about that earlier in this post. The solutions I do not agree with are making either reduced respawn or forced respawn as this is too harsh and too many people would lose their shit if this was the case.
This solution removes the incentive for cops to use lethals as the cops get no payout for lethaling and it is in their best interest to capture the civilian so they can process them and get some money from the ticket thus meaning lethals would be used only when they are truly necessary. This also prevents abuse from rebels using lethals as a simple way to get out of all their charges. Yes there is no perfect solution and no matter what there are going to be scenarios where people abuse mechanics but overall this solution has the least amount of issues. If it stays the way it is people are going to continue to get free pardons from lethaling. I know someone is going to talk about robocopping and while yes true robocops do exist I find that the majority of police officers are going to give you a fair chance to explain yourself and give you an appropriate ticket. The main issue is most often not the officer but that civilians either suck as RP or disagree with the ticket they receive. But despite what you think, people have different opinions on how large your ticket should be based on roleplay. Sometimes you are going to have to pay a ticket or maybe even receive jail time. That is part of being a rebel and committing crimes. Oh and dont even get me started on how much parole is abused daily. Ill save that for another time.

OK, I'm going to relent (temporarily) and test something out.  Both of the main changes in this patch are temporary.  We're going to see how it effects things and then react.  With that being said:
Money from the cartel fridge(s) will now automatically deposit into the gang account of the gang who owns the cartel.  This happens on an incremental basis (every 5 minutes), so you will still see money in the fridge (and can take it if it is there).  The trade off here is that we are no longer generating money to go into the fridge.  People have to sell drugs, turtles, scotch, etc to fill up Drug and Wong's.  People have to buy things at Rebel to fill up Arms.   All proceeds from robbing the bank will now be Banded Bank Notes.  No more gold bars from the bank.  Banded Bank Notes introduce a time wait to deposit money from the bank, so the APD can still chase you down... Exiting a vehicle should maintain your weapon fire rate (as it used to).  This was a bug from the performance patch.   Additional performance enhancements.  Minor things, but hey were still working on that too.
    Hotfix 1:
Y inventory should now drop to the ground where expected when someone dies in a vehicle.   Hotfix 2:
Increased the prison break combat radius Increased the radius that prisoners can move around in the prison (get shanking boys) Made a small map change at the prison to (hopefully) prevent an exploit Hotfix 3:
Tweaked the prison radius again.  Should solve both issues:  not being able to create shanks and the inability to escape after a prison break.
