@ron the player *Bear Grylls*: As you see here, you can find a rare sight and occurrence of the species known as "Pussyious-hidous-in-da-houses", this species is known to frequent his home in Kavala and hide. He is only seen to exit his house unless someone is restrained near his house, he later takes them inside his home and attempts to consume them for nutrients... What this beast doesn't know is attempting to kill his prey with a p07 does not work, this phase is known as "Stupidious-Ron-is" it wont be until minutes later he realizes rubber bullets don't kill. After a few more minutes of failed attempts the prey will normally escape and shoot their predator... He was spotted on camera trying to steal small and pointless things in Kavala as our camera crew caught him taking the bait.

Last night server 2 capped out at 100 players, and managed to not crash till late in the restart period. I've seen the general server population increasing so I think server 3 will be up more often as time goes on.

Tonight I'm making a few changes (by popular demand):  
Group cap is increased to a base level of 20.  Community goals can still increase this amount.   Infamy is now gained from war kills. Money cap has been increased at all levels:  1M, 2M, 3.5M, 11M, and none - up from 1M, 1.5M, 2M, 6M, none.   The meth lab will now always be on the east side of the map.   Server 3 will remain up provided there are 100 players online across all servers.  

I'd argue this server isn't tough on punishing rulebreakers. From my experience people litterly we're not banned for blantant exploiting and continue playing mocking me how they get away with it.

Saturday October 20th
Convoy Departing KV HQ on S1 @ 2pm PST (4pm CST/5pm EST)
 
The Altis Police Department has been cracking down on crime and their evidence locker has reached its capacity. They will be transporting the excessive amount of cargo (Including, Mk1's, Mk18's, RPGs, Suicide Vests, Meth, Cocaine and Gold Bars) from their Kavala Head Quarters evidence locker to the Molos Airfield (DP20) to rendezvous with a Private Transport Company where it will be seized into a Huron and moved off island to a larger storage facility. 
The A.P.D. will be in full force and escorting the high valued cargo in multiple trucks protected by armored ground vehicles and air support. The cargo trucks will have global vehicle trackers visible to all players on the map (Big thanks to @Gen. Henry Arnold for that addition!). Delivering the cargo to the Molos Airfield will be the A.P.D.'s main priority so they will be STRICTLY utilizing less than lethal force (downing) only for the entire event and will not be restraining or ticketing anyone. The idea is to allow all civilians and rebel groups multiple chances to attack the convoy and try and steal the cargo trucks and not risk getting caught or going to jail.
The Convoy itself will be KoS, so no initiation with the Police/Convoy will be necessary. However, you will still need to initiate with any other civilian or rebel groups in the area like normal. 
If you are a whitelisted officer (Cadets included) and would like to drive one of the cargo trucks, the A.P.D. will pay you out $50k for your service. You can get in touch with me @Roice to confirm that you are interested

APD Responds to Bank Robberies
What was once thought of as an insurmountable task , now looks like a ray of hope in a bleak fog.
Our last edition highlighted the string of bank robberies plaguing the country and the APD's inability to successfully respond accordingly. 
Since that expose the Altis Police Department stepped up its recruiting campaign and hired a surprisingly large and adept group of cadets. 
We all now some will not make it but the hopes of the Department seems to be on getting more boots on the ground to quell any insurrections that could have been funded
by these robberies, our investigative reporter IceVenom sent us a report on one of the notorious groups that have taken part in these robberies :
" 3:03 AM after the bank of Altis has closed a notorious gang known as "Drunk Squad" has broken into the bank armed to the teeth and waiting for a fight. Multiple fatalities at the bank including many police officers. After a long fight on the bank roof the officers lost yet another fight to the criminals. The criminals managed to make away with around 100 thousand dollars in bank notes."
Our reporters will continue to investigate the perpetrators and attempt to shed some light on the motives of the individuals in question. We will be bringing you continuous updates on this story.  We would also like to thank our reporters and officers risking their lives for the safety of the Country and to bring you the most telling news.
 
 
 

Where are all the Fish?
The fish seemed to have disappeared from most of Altis's markets
this seems to have stemmed from an influx of citizens steering away from lawful
work to unlawful work. With the new wave of officers patrolling the streets , will we see an increase 
in fish production? or will the staple food of the country become a scarcity leaving the citizens to sustain themselves
with grains and fruits. We cannot directly pinpoint the reasons but the ANN feels confident in its assessment and conclusion. 
 
 

Seismic Activity Wreaking Havoc
Across The Country    
Across all of Altis residents are awoken and startled by a large measurable increase in seismic activity
homes are being destroyed , and contractors are out in full force repairing and replacing the damage, the Governor has failed to comment on the the disaster response and 
the end to these nightmarish quakes  is no where in sight. The ANN urges all citizens to drive and walk with caution to avoid injury, the Medical examiner's office has issues a statement advising all citizens to seek medical attention upon any injuries to avoid prolonged disabilities. Anyone who has experience in the field of seismology is urged to assist in any capacity. 
 
This Concludes our 3rd edition of our Paper. We do want to apologize for the brevity of this edition as the new transition into a country wide news network has had a profound effect on our reporters who have been in the process of relocation to major cities across the country. We look forward to providing you with some news  footage on our next edition and urge our citizens and police force to participate in our reporting and news casting.

Games die, servers die. Its just part of it. I don't think Asylum is 'dead' though. I always say if you aren't having fun don't play. Treating this like a chore is not the mindset you want.
