    Minimal coding needed as well to make these work.
    Parauts is always to stuck up on bringing out the next 'big' feature, when he should be perfecting current features. Asylum doesn't need any more features, its just needs polishing, quality of life changes and small updates like this to revive it.

    Civilians can no longer purchase the following:
    Suicide Vests RGO Grenades RPGs or their ammo Any 7.62 or their ammo Ifrits .50 Cals Orcas Civilian market values have gone up! The following goods / services are now 25% more valuable:
    Iron Copper Diamond Sand Salt Delivery Missions Oil Rubber Medical Marijuana Fish (Handcaught fish 100% more valuable) Wreck Excavation Goods (excluding cocaine and lockpicks) Civilian misc. changes:
    Removed talents to purchase/use 7.62, .50 Cals, and Suicide Vests Four-Five has been added to Gun Stores MRD sight has been added to Gun Stores Bounty Hunters now receive payment if their target logs off in their restraints  
    Police
    Police misc. changes:
    The MXSW is now purchasable by Lieutenant+ Added talent to limit Lieutenant+ to either be able to purchase the MXSW, or 7.62 rifles Police that die in Kavala HQ should now have to properly wait 1.5 minutes to respawn Athira HQ walls are now unbreakable Wanted individuals that log off within police cuffs now split payout between all officers within 2 kilometers  
    Opfor
    Opfor has been introduced to the game!
    Opfor have access to additional wares at rebel outposts that others do not:
    Suicide Vests RGO Grenades Any 7.62 or their ammo Ifrits Orcas Four-Fives & MRD sights The following roles for opfor are available:
    Drug Lord Guerilla Pilferer  
    Drug Lord:
    The following attributes apply to drug lord:
    Expert Smuggler talent (up to rank 3): 3.3% increased payout for selling drugs to any main city drug dealer 10% increased vehicle Y inventory 50% reduced cut taken by cartels Drug lords have a chance to gain an additional unprocessed drug during collection  
    Pilferer:
    The following attributes apply to pilferer:
    Drill Technician talent (up to rank 3): 5% reduced duration to rob the Bank of Altis 10% more laundered money from bank robberies (Pilferer must start the robbery) 50% reduced store robbery cooldown, and 50% increased payout Pilferers have a chance to steal Y inventory and items in clothing when they rob someone  
    Guerilla:
    The following attributes apply to guerilla:
    The Warden talent (up to rank 3): 5% reduced duration for Prison Breaks Hardened Criminal talent: 20% chance to avoid 5 minute revive sickness when revived by a non professional Can purchase .50 Cals and RPGs from Rebel Outpost 10% increased payout from cartel containers 20% reduced chance for police to be alerted when you interact with an NPC When Guerillas wake up at a hospital, they wake up in Donor Town at the medic Opfor miscellaneous:
    Opfor receive increased base HP (on par with police base HP) 20% chance to not trigger speeding cameras  
    General misc. changes:
    After choosing Blufor (police) or Opfor (rebel), you are locked to that option for 24 hours Drug collecting has reverted to it's original state, no longer requiring you to look around / walk in circles to gather drugs Finally fixed the broken visuals for many clothing options Durga has pointed out over the past 6 months

    Hey, what's up guys?
    I haven't logged into this or arma in an age... But someone from here decided to contact me through youtube about helping Asylum.
    I'd be down, but just wanted to clear up a few things first.
    The reason I left before, was due to the fact that I was still in college. Coding, while fun, is extremely time consuming, and quite frankly added stress to my busy life.
    I've got a little more spare time now, so I'm willing to help out with the SQF, if they ask.
    The above isn't quite correct, but I won't fault him for mis-remembering as it has been some time. I messed around and put some funny things that I thought were proof of concept into the test environment, but it was just that, screwing around in the test environment. Gnashes knows the stairs on coke castle were a huge joke that we laughed pretty hard at, because I sucked at map editing. But yeah, I sure didn't care to have free reign.

    Asylum 8.1 Patch Notes
     
    Rebel Convoy (Names are up for suggestions)
    A Box HMTT randomly spawns in one of 1-5 locations on Arms Island loaded with MK's random Y inventory used for fighting cartels, scopes, mags, etc...
    Also has a random amount of dirty money, gold bars like the bank generates...
    Everyone on the server is alerted of this event even cops! They are not allowed to come onto Arms Island unless an LT or higher is online
    They could setup a road block at bottleneck, land hummingbirds and run in on foot & rush with striders, whatever!
     
    Evidence Locker (Not my suggestion but has been asked for constantly...)
    Any rebel gear seized by police will generate into an evidence locker...
    Which can be robbed, similar to a Prison break...Setup a new Police HQ where this can happen...
    When being robbed rebels have a very slight chance to receive weapons that aren't sold at rebels, hell maybe throw in a DMS or small turret vehicles, striders, hunters  and sometimes rebel vehicles and police vehicles, clothing, MX's to mix it up, how cool would it be to be a rebel and pull out a police strider? this would create so much more RP and fun for cops as well and make these vehicles able to be claimed
    all these items would create a huge new market on the Asylum Exchange and make the server much more interesting!
     
    Helicopter Crash or Rebel Air Drop
    A helicopter has crashed & dropped some rebel gear, arrive before the police does!
    (Rebel & Police Alerted...Maybe rebel gets a few minute head start)
    Helicopter crash like DayZ or Arma 2 that has a loot crate with a few simple things maybe one gold bar
     
    Random Other Changes That Are Needed
    - Slightly decrease the price of loadouts, or decrease the taxes..Also on ifrits & ocras
    - Let rebels purchase hunters, striders..Ifrit is the most op vehicle, you can easily shoot someone out of hunters & striders much easier I don't know what the huge fuss is about it...You can clearly tell the difference in the skins if done correctly...Also make these vehicles instead of chopping them claimable...Fighting would be so much better if someone could claim Ifrits instead of chopping them...Gangs might actually have the incentive to push with them alot more instead of getting a measly 40-50k for them.
    - This is been a huge problem in gangs for a long time... The ranking system needs some work...
    Rank 1, plebian...Just gets gang tags 
    Rank 2, Can invite friends to the gang
    Rank 3, Can invite people & start/stop wars with other gangs
    rank 4, gang bank access, invite/kick people, war access
    rank 5, owner all of the above, cannot be kicked from their own gang
    GANG BANK LEDGER, jesus this is needed bigtime XD
    - Revamp gang houses, add something new
    - Re work the prison and remove all the extra addons...The old prison was by far the best...
    - Fresh new cartels provided by the gang community & have them rotate custom cartels maybe edited by a reliable source..
    - Add another rebel in the east side of the map
    - Move some stuff onto the east side of the map...It is so unused it is ridiculous...We need something over there...Maybe a new drug PCP, shrooms also add a chop shop over there, remove the salt additive to craft weapons how it used to be , running vermins brought so many people to that side of the map. add a new mining area with something new to process & sell
     
    All of this will bring back police & rebel life in a single patch...What can it honestly hurt? 
    I came up with all this in about 30 minutes...If anyone else has any suggestions please feel free to add them below...
     
    Come on devs give me a reason to install arma 3 again...Let's bring Asylum back!

    Anytime there are a few big groups fighting the server starts lagging and you die after spraying a whole mag into someone and they just run off this has been happening since early june 2016...nobody has the patience for it anymore...they've just raised prices of everything rebel rise and expect us to sit here for hours on end grinding and ignore the lag and mass kicks...who has time for that? i'm sorry but I don't...plus there has but no major rebel update in fucking ages...I can't believe I even check the forums everyday for that **GREAT REBEL UPDATE** we've all been waiting on...why do I even bother...honestly it is fun to check out the asylum banter  They did the right thing getting some old school rebel admins but when they voice their input nothing happens... I mean @Haych & @Tom have tried to fix rebel life for at least two years... 
     
    I think it's honestly too late....I cba to even bother with Arma anymore it's just always such a let down on Asylum when there is something great and it's nerfed
