As we ALL know, Gang life is on the decline. Sadly, it isn't just gang life now, drugs are also on the decline. 
My Idea is to somehow, (I don't know shit about coding or anything about game design), have special days of the week dedicated to automatically increasing the sales price of a specific/drug or activity. This will give the player base more motivation to do the things that require a lot of effort since for an X amount of time, it will be more profitable. Obviously this will cause x drug field to be camped heavily on x day, but isn't that a good thing? We can, to an extent, revive the chaos we used to always experience at drug fields. Maybe we can go one step further and have every weekend be a 100% increase in Cartel/drug payouts.
Ideas (if you dont like reading)
1. Have specific days that increase the sales price of certain drugs to, in hope, increase the activity in drug fields.
2. Have special days/weeks/weekends where Cartel payout or sale prices for different drugs be increased at a rate of your choosing (25%) wouldn't be bad? 
Notes: I know putting sales price increases in community goals may come to your (Devs) minds immediately. I think the community would much prefer pre-planned days rather than hoping we donate a certain amount of money to do these things. It could also result in an increase in gang fights everywhere, fighting over the more profitable drugs people are doing

Tonight I'm making a few changes (by popular demand):  
Group cap is increased to a base level of 20.  Community goals can still increase this amount.   Infamy is now gained from war kills. Money cap has been increased at all levels:  1M, 2M, 3.5M, 11M, and none - up from 1M, 1.5M, 2M, 6M, none.   The meth lab will now always be on the east side of the map.   Server 3 will remain up provided there are 100 players online across all servers.

The Federal Reserve is expecting a delivery of 36 gold bars (Valued at $1,287,000) to the reserve later tonight. The bars are being shipped in from over seas and will be offloaded at the docks at Kavala Police HQ. The State will be employing the Altis Police Department for transport and security of the delivery to the reserve. The APD will be transporting the cargo in 2 separate HEMTT Boxes escorted by multiple armored vehicles stacked with officers equipped with only DOWNING AMMUNITION. 
The event will be starting in roughly 1 hour on server 1 (9pmPST) POSTPONED until 10PM by popular vote
Rules
The APD will be escorting the gold bars and are clear to shoot on sight. However, you will need to follow standard initiation with other civilians before engaging with them. 
The APD's primary goal is to deliver the gold bars to the reserve safely. They will be using strictly downing ammunition and will NOT be restraining.

APD Responds to Bank Robberies
What was once thought of as an insurmountable task , now looks like a ray of hope in a bleak fog.
Our last edition highlighted the string of bank robberies plaguing the country and the APD's inability to successfully respond accordingly. 
Since that expose the Altis Police Department stepped up its recruiting campaign and hired a surprisingly large and adept group of cadets. 
We all now some will not make it but the hopes of the Department seems to be on getting more boots on the ground to quell any insurrections that could have been funded
by these robberies, our investigative reporter IceVenom sent us a report on one of the notorious groups that have taken part in these robberies :
" 3:03 AM after the bank of Altis has closed a notorious gang known as "Drunk Squad" has broken into the bank armed to the teeth and waiting for a fight. Multiple fatalities at the bank including many police officers. After a long fight on the bank roof the officers lost yet another fight to the criminals. The criminals managed to make away with around 100 thousand dollars in bank notes."
Our reporters will continue to investigate the perpetrators and attempt to shed some light on the motives of the individuals in question. We will be bringing you continuous updates on this story.  We would also like to thank our reporters and officers risking their lives for the safety of the Country and to bring you the most telling news.
 
 
 

Where are all the Fish?
The fish seemed to have disappeared from most of Altis's markets
this seems to have stemmed from an influx of citizens steering away from lawful
work to unlawful work. With the new wave of officers patrolling the streets , will we see an increase 
in fish production? or will the staple food of the country become a scarcity leaving the citizens to sustain themselves
with grains and fruits. We cannot directly pinpoint the reasons but the ANN feels confident in its assessment and conclusion. 
 
 

Seismic Activity Wreaking Havoc
Across The Country    
Across all of Altis residents are awoken and startled by a large measurable increase in seismic activity
homes are being destroyed , and contractors are out in full force repairing and replacing the damage, the Governor has failed to comment on the the disaster response and 
the end to these nightmarish quakes  is no where in sight. The ANN urges all citizens to drive and walk with caution to avoid injury, the Medical examiner's office has issues a statement advising all citizens to seek medical attention upon any injuries to avoid prolonged disabilities. Anyone who has experience in the field of seismology is urged to assist in any capacity. 
 
This Concludes our 3rd edition of our Paper. We do want to apologize for the brevity of this edition as the new transition into a country wide news network has had a profound effect on our reporters who have been in the process of relocation to major cities across the country. We look forward to providing you with some news  footage on our next edition and urge our citizens and police force to participate in our reporting and news casting. 
 
 

Kavala is a place where that tends to happen a lot. Go other places like athira and pyrgos for generally less people/bad peoples. Not everyone is like that, asylum still has good people who will role-play with you. If you ever wanna have a role-play encounter, just have a bounty and turn yourself into the cops. Most officers role-play, some however do not, but if they don't then just ask for a higher up.
If you need help getting started with anything or if you have any questions you can pm me. Same goes to anyone that needs anything. You will always encounter your trolls, and just tell people your new. I've seen some nice people who give new people stuff and help them out.
Just like Mayhem said, if you comply and they shoot you then its RDM. You can report RDM if you have 5 minutes prior to them shooting you, and they shoot you after you've complied or if they shoot without saying anything. Initiation lasts 5 minutes as well (ex. telling someone put their hands up or die).

Bought Arma 3 during the sale this past weekend and already dumped 30 hours into this game. Played on Olympus for like 10 minutes, didn't like it, hopped onto Asylum 1, never looked back.
