Helicopter Pilot Lethaling/Downing:
Lethaling or downing a helicopter pilot will no longer constitute pardoning the occupants of the helicopter.
If there are any questions or concerns, feel free to contact a Captain.

Here are all the issues with attempting to make this change:
1. It takes extra work for the lieutenants to attempt to establish a working schedule and make appointments every month
2. People do not always make appointments scheduled with Lt's
3. As a Lieutenant this is not my full time job, it is a game which I volunteer my time and am not compensated for. As such I want to have the ability to chose when to have to do work.
4. Scheduling conflict which occur suddenly can cause issues with making interviews with appointment
5. Scheduling Lieutenants for times slots is impractical. Not all lieutenants can be on in the middle of the night/ early morning for interviews again making it a job
These are points which I have to counter this argument. It is not perfect to become an officer, but welcome to a volunteer system and what I assume was you applying at the end of the month. The end of every month has a major slow down in activity being completed as many higher ups want to do other things. This is all my opinion and experience of doing the job of Lieutenant for 3.5 years which other higher ups may have different reasons for agreeing/disagreeing with my statements.

Another cop suggestion here but could we get some payment/prestige from seizing guns/grenades we get no money at all and it would be nice to atleast get like 15% to 20% of the price of the gun.

Ok so these are all going to be biased suggestions for cops, well because im a career cop.
 
-Bring undercover hunters back. Would be nice to be able to use them, especially for those who have paid for crates and have gotten the skin to use but play cop more often.
-Ability to buy Leg Strap backpacks for the rank of Cprl+, Its hard to carry a decent amount of magazines and a good mixture of smokes and frags. Would also help out with those (including myself) that fight to get a undercover slot, and complain about there not being enough whitelisted slots.
-For the love of god please just git rid of the cop to civ ratio, there is just one server left. Let people enjoy playing what faction they want to play.
-Change the Novice I/V/ Technician for the Undercover whitelisted slot from "Using a blood bag on others is 25% faster" to "Using a blood bag on yourself is 25% faster"
-Add Bank Drill and Prison disables to the APD stats on MyAsylum
-Add a notification on screen when switching from non-lethal to lethal ammunition.
May be more to come and will edit as i think of stuff.

I don't think this is about the Captains giving anyone the middle finger, and I don't think they're trying to flex any special powers. The way I see it, they wanted to add a backup plan the APD can use during feds that are heavily stacked against us. I know someone asked why not just give the power to SGT+ at their discretion, and frankly, I think that would have gone over far worse. Historically, people have not been a fan of SGTs and LTs getting additional powers against civs, and they certainly wouldn't like a power like combat seizing gold bars to be able to be used by ranks that are almost always on, and are arguably more likely to use it.
I agree completely that retired captains tend to be the source of issues that arise the CPT based policies. However, I don't think this applies to all retired captains, and even with retired captains included, there is still only ever one to two people online that could possibly make use of this policy. I don't think that one or two cops with the power to combat seize gold from vehicles, only after they've left the fed will be that common or that big of an issue. But, that's just the opinion of a humble career cop.

I have been selected to become a Community Manager. My role is to be an active part of the community both in game and on the forums. I have been here for roughly 5 years with about 7,300 hours in Arma which is 95 percent on Asylum. The rest on KOTH and the campaign. For those of you who do not know me I am one of the best helicopter pilots on the server. I would consider myself a career rebel as I have only ever made it to CPL on the APD. I do try and balance it out as much as I can but there is something about trolling cops that puts a smile on my face. I am not that great at cartels or shooting in general but I love to mess around and have fun.  I have only ever been in 1 gang  throughout my time on Asylum which is Drunk Squad. I am here for you guys when you need me.
