Doing this myself the other day there is the following issue, if you for say collect only diamonds, then those rocks are then replaced with a weighted value of copper diamond and iron. Therefor by gathering just diamonds you are decreasing the numbers of available diamonds.
tldr gather all of the rocks and drop the ones you don’t want to increase the likelihood of doing so
It causes the same annoyance as with gathering with a pickaxe or using the jackhammer tempest. Having to drop 70% of your inventory over and over because you want a specific material. Seeing the suitcases filled with rocks, iron and copper ore at every quarry suggests that i'm not the only one.
I suggest that when a rock is gathered, a new rock of the same type spawns at a new location. This way the material you are farming would not run out and you can just continue running around to gather them. This makes the interactive part more rewarding than standing still, because if i would have to pick up all rocks and then empty out my backpack i don't see the point.

Since Asylum v3 there are rocks with copper, iron and diamonds you can interactively gather. Since mining with a pickaxe or jackhammer truck gathers all tons of garbage I really like this option.
However when i'm running around and gathering these white rocks for diamonds, after 10 of them or so there are none left. After waiting 10-30 seconds one or two might respawn and then i have to wait again.
I found a way to make them respawn, but i'm not sure if its considered an exploit. Let me know if you want me to report it privately.
I would like the spawnrate of the rocks to be increased to a point where i can just continue running around and picking them up.

Quarries

Rocks now spawn at the quarries, run over and pick them up to get their minerals.
-
High Yield quarries give an increased yield of iron and diamonds than regular quarries.
- Small grey rocks give you copper
- Black rocks give you iron
- White rocks give you diamonds

Well was fun for a minute. The amount of rdm and vdm and dragons camping everything with infinite money is ruining it for me.

Before this wipe begins, have all the admins selected the houses they want before the wipe starts?
They're gonna have to work for it like the rest of us.

Admins - will not be getting any money or perks for the time being, including spawning in vehicles. (They will be a new player just like you)
- This is to ensure fairness across the community. However, admin duties outside of normal game play will remain and can still run events to make it fun for the community.

I don't know any cheaters but i believe they simply want to "win". It could be that they are tired of losing, or that someone struck their ego and now they have to somehow get the upper hand. Unlike most other games here you can run into the same people all the time and all sorts of drama or friction builds up.
In my case instead of using cheats, i used to grab an orca and slam it into the people pissing me off 😅

Personally the wipe looks fun to me. I believe there will be an initial spike in activity from the players who gather money to buy good houses. Since these are normally unobtainable or expensive but now available for a low price. During this time you will run into more players, fight over areas, gangs might fight over drug cartel because most of the server will be probably farming drugs.
I think it's a chance for improval on the player activity, but only if people are willing to try. Seeing the reactions from most people voicing their opinion it already looks like their mind has been made up. I wouldn't be suprised it will quickly turn into the low activity we have right now or eventually close the server.
@HunterB Is it possible to post a date/time of when this wipe is happening? At least whenever possible announce it in advance so people can plan for it.

You just pretty much copied the old design and put it in a new spot, one of the main reasons it is so shit is because its design was so bad. use your own brain and make something else.
He suggested a new location which does make a difference for the fight and a couple of tweaks to make the asylum last shorter.
If it's your opinion that the design is bad why aren't you the one coming up with a better one? -

Actually mk14 has highest recoil/penetration/rate of fire.
Mk1 is most accurate and least recoil
Mk18 is between those above
Go into the editor and test it for yourself. Tbh eventhough hated the most i like tapping with the mk14 vs cop cars at bank/pb.
Use the mk1 for cartel loadout (sniping pushers/heli)
Mk18 whenever budget buying
@NotMikeJust wanted to check if still accurate, here's straight from the editor.

@Cowboy Justin
I think we're just disagreeing without getting to a conclusion. I'm against increasing the jail time and think the most impact you can have on the problem you are seeing is to take action in game. Go on cop, convince the others to join you and help out new players keeping them safe in the cities. If someone is causing havoc go stop him. If a new player has a rough time, help him out. Use your voice ingame to change people their minds. -

I agree with the problem, not the solution. I couldn't be asked to sit in jail for 30+ mins, let alone 4 hours.
I agree with this
@Cowboy Justin try to rephrase your problem, to me it sounds like you want to protect newer or poorer players who are trying to make money.
I would go with an idea of incentivizing protection for such players. Might be difficult to implement but at least about that i'm sure no one would be against it.
Just a wild suggestion, perhaps give civilians the ability to report a vehicle which has a vehicle tracker as stolen. Which shares the tracker location with the APD so they can persue and stop the thief.

I think what you're forgetting most is this is a Roleplay server. You want heavy PVP with no consequences? go play wastelands. This suggestion in no way says you can't do cartels, people did cartels back in the day with no problems. If by inconvenience you mean having the chance to be sent to jail for again a maximum of 28 minutes, reduced to 6 minutes if you press plates, that is not a large enough consequence for what players are doing to get 100k+ bounties.
I think this is a good suggestion too. Maybe if a player goes to jail they also are "fined" a certain amount for their crimes.
I think you are just lacking perspective, have you ever been that guy with a 100k bounty? Or are you just having assumptions from being killed by one too many times?
Someone doesn't get a 100k bounty from robbing and killing 20 players, he's probably doing the bank, fighting cartels which are all PvP areas and then maybe he robs someone he by chance passes by.
Also there are so few people on the server with a bounty this high.

To be completely blunt, these players are not offering anything but a negative encounter for most players they run into which drives away the new players that join the server and by having such a low time cap on being jailed there is nothing to discourage that type of behavior.
"That type of behaviour"
I'm sorry to say but i think you're playing the wrong game. This is a PvP server, where people fight eachother for a ton of reasons. The only behaviour that gives you a bounty that should be discouraged is RDM. Other than that you're simply suggesting people who make a lot of kills and don't get caught to be punished for a longer time by not being able to play the game. What a fun suggestion, must feel really rewarding to a good cartel player or someone who has been evading bounty hunters/cops a long time.
1 hour ago, Cowboy Justin said:I get what you're saying and I'm also not saying people shouldn't be able to kill others. My post is simply pointing out that there's no repercussions to being a menace to others on the server. Anyone who can look at this from a middle ground standpoint would agree that 6 minutes in jail is hardly a punishment for anyone who has 100k+ bounties. Again, if you get on the server to kill others and inconvenience them by making them lose all of their progress then you should also be inconvenienced by having to spend a longer time in jail or to avoid jail, losing money by paying your ticket.
Having a high bounty already gives you enough inconvience by having to be extremely careful. Bounty hunters and cops are after you, you can never be alone or unarmed or you will be caught. You ping everywhere you use an npc or atm. Also you're not really able to do any money making.

Sooo why did you script and get yourself permed?

APD Federal Reserve guide:
- Everyone from the APD hit respawn.
- A SGT+ Pulls the gigachad HEMMT and slaps nitro on it.
- Send it flying over the wall from Telos
- EVERYONE SPAWN SPAWN SPAWN ZERG IT WOOOOOOOOOH
Sounds like chaos, i love it!
i'd say try it out and watch what happens?

Even though carefully considered the whole idea I still think being able to hit anywhere on the map with an explosive is kind of overpowered.
Just an suggestion as a solution for this: mortar artillery, you have to aim (which can be done perfectly when you know how it works) but requires you to be at least in the area of your target.
https://armedassault.fandom.com/wiki/Mk6_Mortar#:~:text=Far range%3A 284 to 4%2C078,(ETA 40-29 seconds)Far range: 284 to 4,078 metres (ETA 40-29 seconds)
You even have different kinds of ammo:- High-Explosive (HE): 18 metre blast radius, has a penetration depth of 30 millimetres (direct impact only).
- Guided*: 8 metre blast radius, infrared-guided; will attempt to home in onto "hot" vehicles within a radius of 800 metres. The submunition separates from the main shell once it is 300 metres above the impact zone. The IR seeker has a 10% chance to lose lock against smoke countermeasures.
- Laser Guided (LG)*: 8 metre blast radius, laser-guided; can only lock onto laser spots within a radius of 800 metres. The submunition will "launch" from the dummy shell once it is 300 metres above the impact zone and begin seeking a laser spot.
