Bounty hunters are cancer

Exactly, it is recommended, in other words, no one does it.  Only required role play is when on cop or when initiating, so for all you finger-less retards, don’t expect a bounty hunter to RP with you when you get raped by them.

You don't expect it. That's the problem lmao. If you have a 4$ bounty you're not allowed to exist anywhere because 5000 retards with rebel and bounty hunter licenses fly across the map just to rdm and they think it's great fun to do.

Yeah it’s called fighting cartels, no role play required. Unlike yourself, I have plenty of social interaction outside of video games. I don’t need to talk to people on a video game to prove I’m not anti-social. Go outside, make some friends buddy.

retards like you are gonna get hit by reality when the server dies and you have nobody to rdm :emoji:

I don’t rdm, I just have enough fingers to kill people who try to kill me, it’s pretty simple.. kill the people who try to kill you

I constantly have a $100K+ bounty and never get caught, only times I lose my bounty is when a cop lethals me. My suggestion to you is just to grow a few fingers.

No, you go into town and say "hands up or die", taze them regardless, restrain them, then "never get caught"

You're garbage and you know it so stop typing neckbeard

Enjoy playing on a dead server retard

You're telling them to grow up when you are the one crying about a system that has been put in place longer then you have probably played on Asylum. I think you just need to man up.

Yeah it’s called fighting cartels, no role play required. Unlike yourself, I have plenty of social interaction outside of video games. I don’t need to talk to people on a video game to prove I’m not anti-social. Go outside, make some friends buddy.

What does this even mean, where did this come from? Dude no one gives a shit about your supposed social life, and non of us are inclined to believe it anyway when you're arguing about an RP gamemode in a relatively obscure video game. When did anyone say you were anti-social? It honestly sounds like your trying to prove something to yourself, do us a favor and shut up, "buddy".

Honestly, I used to think the same way when they made the big changes for bounty hunters. But I ended up liking it after I started abusing the shit out of everything that comes with it. Go kidnap people and hold them for 10 minutes, lock them in a house bait them into combat logging and report them when they log out at 9 minutes and 51 seconds. Complaining on the forums isn't going to do shit. Best way to make changes to something is to abuse the fuck out of it until they start losing players. If they're smart they'll take notice. If they don't notice then they don't deserve the player base and good riddance to another arma server.

I switched from rebel to bounty hunter, waste of alot of talents, but its much more fun fucking with ppl, and its more annoying being downed for like 1 min then restrained instead of killed.

Yeah nobody gives a fuck about some dead server. Rule breakers inspire rule breakers. Mass shooters inspire mass shooters. Maybe you'll grow up some day and learn how life works. Till then, you can keep eating shit your whole life. This is the peak of your life kiddo, enjoy.

its absolutely cancerous when bounty hunters respond faster than the cops.

Who needs healthy RP with cops when you could just be shot from behind, thrown into a car, and left in the middle of nowhere for 30 minutes

why do you play and keep ranting on the forums if you don't care about the server? @Gannicus

I care about everything and anyone. I want the best for everyone and everything. People act against their own interests and I want more people to ultimately get happiness from all servers collectively. I refer to Olympus because I played it far far before it had a 3rd server, and would have become an admin if a certain event had not taken place that led to immediate removal from high level in the APD and from the server. I'm now unbanned, but I want other people to share that experience I had (up til that point). I think Olympus has taken a few steps backwards, but they did so many things right. I come into Asylum for the first time in 4 years and it felt like I took a huge step back in gameplay quality. In-game, before the cancer between us, I asked to be your friend after you shot me in the head without initiation and the car blew up. The car blowing up was hilarious and I wasn't too hurt over it. So I came back and genuinely wanted to befriend you and forgive killing me. When you followed me around after that to harass me was when it hit a light switch in attitude towards you. Feels like betrayal of an unsaid code. Respect. Feels like we got in a fist fight, I give a genuine compliment about the fight or try to pull you up afterwards, and getting told to fuck myself. That's not fun for anybody. Going in public and every single person tells you to fuck off, it's not fun or welcoming, which is the point of a game. I'm clearly not a threat. I clearly don't know what I'm doing if I have a bounty and I'm just walking around unarmed. Why harass me instead of helping? You gain(ed) nothing and just makes the game more toxic and unfun.

Seriously, who thought bounty hunters were a good idea? They are literally cops with no roleplay required, and will send you straight to jail and ignore anything you tell them. If a cop is required to give you a ticket, then why the hell are bounty hunters allowed to send you straight to jail? There are very few circumstances a cop can send you straight to jail and pretty much all of them involve some kind of verbal harassment.

At the very minimum, I should be able to pay my ticket when they send me "straight to jail" to avoid losing things like my firearm and bounty hunter license.

Let's not forget that there's pretty much no reason to become a rebel over a bounty hunter since downing rounds are much more useful than rounds that kill you. So literally every clan is outfitted with magic rubber bullets. They will kidnap you and drive you around and then eventually execute you. There's a reason this server has been slowly dying and I'm sure the horrible bounty hunter setup is part of that.

I blame the new combat log system. The Old days was bounty hunter fear CL "Combat Log" and had to record, Now Anyone with $2,000 bounty  fear of this and has to record. If you check the statistics of Bounter Hunter to Rebels/Civs. Rebels and civs make up the popularity. Bounty hunters are abusing the new system, even know they were the ones that wanted the change. Ever since they got the change, they are abusing more an more.

So you wanted us to start recording 24/7 and filing reports all day yeah?Maybe you shouldn't talk when you don't know, the CL update is a huge plus for the BH population.Hell the reason there was a rise in bounty hunters was because of this.Stop being salty and judging by this, you are probably afraid to log as much as you previously did.

Sounds like you should either stop committing crimes, or get better at dodging bounty hunter bullets.

Although I understand the frustrations, bounty hunters are making money, maybe to avoid losing gear, when sent to prison by a bounty hunter the devs could make it so you don’t lose liscense or legal gea. Because yes, bounty hunters don’t care about story, etc, they send you to prison, cops can let you keep gear when processed, go to feedback and suggestions btw. Other than that, tough luck.
