Hello everyone,
 
I have been selected to become a Community Manager. My role is to be an active part of the community both in game and on the forums. I have been here for roughly 5 years with about 7,300 hours in Arma which is 95 percent on Asylum. The rest on KOTH and the campaign. For those of you who do not know me I am one of the best helicopter pilots on the server. I would consider myself a career rebel as I have only ever made it to CPL on the APD. I do try and balance it out as much as I can but there is something about trolling cops that puts a smile on my face. I am not that great at cartels or shooting in general but I love to mess around and have fun.  I have only ever been in 1 gang  throughout my time on Asylum which is Drunk Squad. If you have any questions please feel free to hit up my discord or find me in teamspeak. PM me about anything. If you want to chat or just get to know me my door is always open. I am here for you guys when you need me.

You can either thank, be annoyed at or be completely indifferent to bigjohn's suggestion. Regardless this is another skin, kinda neat looking, not saying there aren't some improvements to be made.

Obviously I missed the mark when issuing the new VDM rule to the server. After some recent events, they highlighted how this rule can better serve the community. As stated elsewhere, the admins were enforcing the direction I put out in regards to handling the VDM reports, and took the appropriate and necessary action where requested. This situation at hand falls on my shoulders as I bear the responsibility for it.
Moving on...
I made a revision to the rule for us to all follow. I believe this better reflects what I was trying to accomplish before. I would like to hear your thoughts on this edit before it's made "Live".
 
Intentional contact between vehicles that directly causes loss of life, or the disablement or destruction of the vehicle is considered VDM. Also, repeated attempts at intentional contact that fail to cause immediate injury or loss will also be considered VDM since it's clear of the intent behind the actions.

Someone (can't remember who) mentioned doing a RedGull Ifrit and making the Smoke Launchers on the top look like cans of RedGull (as seen in second pic).

You know Asylum is great and it has withstood the trial of time! I would love to see you develop and create and amazing server with such a dedicated fan base as Asylum has. The reason you feel this way is yes Asylum has changed and dont get me wrong I hate dealing with younger kids on this server as well but we were all in their shoes at one point. Asylum is what you make of it if you sit around and complain and moan about the staff and higher ups in the APD just because they didn't do what you wanted is bs. I think you need too reevalute your point and get an idea as a whole what this server is about! because I can promise you its not dying and its not going anywhere anytime soon bud!
