I'm not going to lie he is kind of right.
I have never had a problem killing any Chinese players. The only times where their ping has benefitted them (in my experience, which is a lot) is dropping out of ifrits/while driving.
Only in instances where people normally lag (tower lag, ifrit dropping, driving, etc.) do I see the 'ping advantage'.
Occasionally they 'shotgun' but never have I not been able to kill a Chinese player because of their ping.
People swear up and down that they are not able to hit their shots on Chinese players because they're skidding all over the place but I have PERSONALLY never had that happen out of the ordinary. Maybe there is a difference in my setup compared to other people, and for reference I live on the East Coast.

The packet loss is not the issue. Some people are playing from very far countries from USA of course they gonna have 200+ ping including my self. What im aware of there is already a Ping Limit if you get 300+ you get kicked and thats very fair for all players. If you have 20 to 100 ping and your fighting 200 to 250 ping players its not even that bad people are complaining because basically they dont want the asians on the server. If you insist to add a ping limit there is already on s2 for 300+ ping just add it to the s1 because i dont think s1 have any ping limits. Removing a huge amount of players from the server is a huge mistake that shouldn't be done because its gonna make the server die more than what it is now and the asians are huge part of the server and they are active players and the people who are complaining not active like the asians. This is just an advice from me to the staff team i have been around in arma communities long enough to know this is a big mistake and gonna lead the server to die more you guys need to think straight and make asylum a better place and add new stuff to the server and not to think about kicking some players from the server this will not make the server any better it will make it worse and will change the look of the server.

the thing is your ping is low, when it comes to EU/AU players it becomes unbelievable.. i posted a video of me shooting someone 10-15 times he turned around 1 shot me then a solid 10-20 seconds later he died to my original shots it was unreal...

I agree with Chow and .Bherky, my statement was never intended to be used to discourage Chinese players from joining the server. They have a definite advantage but not one that could justify removing them from the playerbase. However, as HunterB said, they're looking into solutions to the synchronization issue and that's a good thing. Any solution that helps to remedy the situation while allowing Asian players to continue their Asylum experience is a good one.
Also the racist-bait comments are hilarious. No one cares if you're Asian, African, Caucasian or whatever. Stop trying to throw yourselves a pity party because your internet cafe wi-fi sucks.

Hello everyone.
Unfortunately i am bringing some terrible news to the community.
One of Asylums Old long time members Minibagge unfourtunately passed away on Tuesday 21st of May, in a car accident.
For anyone who has been here for any period of time, you will more than likley have interacted with him. He has been in asylum for as long as i can remember. Way back a decade.
On a personal note, Mini was a goofy lovable fuckin teddy bear that Drunk Squad was privileged to have had in our ranks. He was an absolute nerdy sweetheart. We had the pleasure of watching him and Leviathan start to fall in love and start their relationship that evolved to an engagement before he was suddenly taken away from her.
He was a fully non toxic, down to earth stand up lad who brightened up our teamspeak daily. DS are feeling the hurt and i cannot imagine the hole that must be left in the lives of Levi and his family. Obviously sending nothing but love and thoughts their way.
Nothing but love gents.

We understand that network vulnerabilities exploited by certain players have been frustrating for many of you. To improve the overall gameplay experience, we are looking into making adjustments to manage packet loss more effectively. Over the next few days, we will be testing these changes to see how well they work. If this solution doesn't adequately address the issue, we may consider implementing stricter ping restrictions.
In essence, we are developing a system that will remove players from the game if their packet loss is too high. If this system isn't enough to prevent network issues from being exploited, we will seriously consider implementing stricter ping restrictions.

As has been previously stated,
We would love to do this. This was the first thing i attempted to do as a contributor.
Unfortunately rag dolls can not be interacted with (unless we mod the server) meaning we would have to entirely re-write our death system to be more like 77th jsoc. We decided not to do this because it gets very confusing as to who is "Dead" and who is "Unconscious" from taser rounds.
Unfortunately i don't see it ever happening this late into asylum as its just too much work and too many systems to re-write to make it happen
