I was for this wipe, and I didnt see it coming......so I got a late start on grinding and lost all my prime houses that Ive spent years aquiring......so it sucks. But if the numbers show the wipe can help bring life back to the server, then tough shit for me......Im good with it.

That said, a second wipe would make it tough coming back after this weekend.

Asylum Tiktok Account

-> Asylum Staff creates an Asylum Tiktok Account
-> Puts the forums (or link to server IP) in bio on tiktok
-> Create a reward system where players are encouraged to submit clips that are meme'y/funny/epic
-> Take clips and use basic editing skills to compile them into multiple shorts that can be posted 1-2 times weekly or bi-weekly
-> The best performing clips each month get rewards in game/creates/titles/etc (for incentive)
-> Asylum technically gets free marketing as long as they put a little effort into running a tiktok account

Even with Arma 3 being "dead" a entertaining clip is still and entertaining clip at the end of the day, and knowing tiktok, shit can blow up. 

Foolproof idea that would take extra time of course, but would likely lead to a slightly (or if lucky a big) increase in traffic to the community.

I like the wipe. Of course the big cartel groups were going to benefit more from the reset. They rolled over cops so hard for hours that the cops stopped responding to fed events. They made millions very quickly.

Know what? Tough shit. Thats the way it goes, big dogs eat first. Would it have been better to nerf fed events for a week or two while things settled down.....sure. But thats hindsight. Dont like it, get a big cartel gang together and go fight them.

The problem with wiping the server is that once everyone makes their money Asylum will be mostly the same, even with economy nerfs.  There isn't a whole lot of new players coming in behind the old ones who are going to grind money too and some of you will endlessly make their experience on Asylum terrible and they will go play something else lol

But honestly, the macro economics of the island have been broken with passive money making opportunities and its impossible to fix right now without a wipe. It went on for too long. There are too many players with enough money that they never have to grind again.

Its killed the contest on the server. The base of this server came here to troll, fight and rob. 

Deleting all but $100k in everyones account would cause everyone to get out and start grinding again.
