I personally believe that if there were to be a permanent wipe, that it should only be of money and houses. I feel like there are a lot of people including myself that would be very upset if we lost our myasylum stats. (This happened before after V2)
you could also create a "Legacy stats" page. to show everyone's stats before wipe?
Heard from a couple people about talks of making this wipe permanent. Just wanted to add my 2 cents here instead of making an entire post. A permanent wipe sounds quite worrying. I know several people who would quit for a fact. Too much time invested too rare of houses etc. Not to mention the millions upon millions of cop gear, mxm, rpg's that have been properly farmed. we are talking hundreds of hours.

so do y'all not care about the mood of the game at all? You don't think occasional weather is better than it being sunny all day every day?

That isn't what it looks like, and you know it lol.

You are sending a image from the stone age without actually showing real proof of what rain actually looks like now and how it impacts performance. It doesn't look like this shit show anymore and has had multiple revisions by bohemia over the state of rain to improve the exact things you are saying.
For now it stays till a restart, this is subject to change in the future though

I really don't think placing down buildings from Tanoa in random places around the map would be a good look. They would stand out too much, and would look out-of-place, especially when considering there aren't many empty places to put a building where it actually makes sense for a building to be. I'm not sure this would help the economy much, either. There are enough houses on the map.
Also, the devs already said no to more houses:
    https://www.gaming-asylum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/120917-barracks-buildings-as-purchaseable-houses/

Big houses and long houses should be A-tier as well... they are on the same level as large houses, right?

I'm just going to close this right now.

The database used for the event is not going to be used for the live server. When Azeh wakes up it will be reloaded to the pre-event database per the pre-posted information on the forum.

If you think we would wipe 7 years of data without notifying everyone well in advance + Publicly saying the event database would not be used. Just to change that in the final 12 hours of a weekend is just insane.

I have to be honest i don't understand how you can read boonies post and not come to this conclusion.

    He even clarified later on

Definitely do a second wipe for the permanent one. This test event was advertised as just that; a test event. Progress during the event was made to seem as if it would be thrown out after it was used for testing purposes. It was definitely not made clear that it might carry over to the permanent wipe. Lots of people didn't play it for that reason. The event seemed unimportant at that level. It would be unfair to keep the progress of the players who did play, especially considering that the one of the reasons most people wanted a wipe is so they could have a chance at getting a previously owned house or two that they wanted.
Wait half a month or so, allow players to get a last bit of enjoyment out of their money and assets, and then re-wipe the server for good. I think a lot of players would appreciate having a little bit of time before losing everything and having to start over, and the ones who made progress during the test won't care about losing it after that little bit of time has passed. It's only two days' worth of progress, anyway. Besides, this doesn't even put them at a disadvantage. They're just being placed on a level playing-field with those who were unable to play during the event but also want a chance of having a good start.
Everyone should be ready to join the newly-wiped server when as soon as it goes up, and grind for a chance to get the house(s) they want. It should be a proper race. No one should get a massive head-start, and no one should miss out due to poor timing/planning/explanation of the event. That's the way it should be done, in my opinion.

In no sense would be marketing something as an event or test ever come to fruition as being the new normal. We needed live data to see if something like this was reasonably feasible. Boonie did mention that this data could be used for future wipe events
But I'm not finding a single post that mentions anything along this being kept this way and expecting you to all carry on. I love watching people loose their fucking minds over something that they can only speculate. It was a weekend event. Each and every person will be fine. You are fine.

We will be discussing as a team how things went and review the publics feedback. Should we make any determination, it will be communicated in 3 languages and reviewed the Saul the lawyer to ensure there is zero confusing statements made. I intend for it to also be printed in braille so that even you blind fucks can figure out how to read it.

We will not be continuing on with this "Save" in any event.
If we choose to wipe in the future it will be a clean wipe with some needed changes from data gathered during the event
If you are concerned about a new player quiting over two days of data you should probably be more concerned about everyone else quiting over 7 years of lost data

If you are going to actually wipe it needs to be a complete wipe and said so from the start. No point in using this wipes data, also cops need to have talent point min based on rank for new wipe so we don't have people spamming feds first day for easy money. Maybe give constable+ 5 talent points to start.

I don't think they ever planned to use the test data, but the handfull players who snatched up a good shed or two are now advocating that they do that.
Personally, I think they should pick a Saturday or Sunday to start the wipe, and announce the date ahead of time (give players a week or so). I think everyone would be happy this way. Even the players who already got good houses during the test event would have the same chance of getting good, or even better houses. It's the only way that makes sense tbh, everyone wants a chance to have a good start.

There should be a permanent wipe, but the server should be wiped again for it. The devs made it really unclear whether or not the test data would continue to be used should there be an actual wipe.
