Well it doesnt always have to be in relation to processing/tickets. If APD can know someone is genuienly new, there's a lot of wiggle room for being nicer, trying to RP more, RP differently, etc. 

Although I do see what you mean, I believe this idea would do more good than harm.

According to me, Chinese people began to join asylum in 2016, but there should also be Korean and Japanese. I joined in 2018. How about you? Please interpret the meaning of "asylum". Please do not take the attitude of other living communities towards VPN as a refuge. Although our dragon gang is slowly leaving arma3, we didn't cheat. I am a member of the Dragon Gang, which is irrelevant to us. Because we are slowly leaving arma3, because we think it is old. But for the Beijing gang, they will definitely cry because they have donated a lot.
OK, 1. Let's talk about ping. First of all, we open vpn to make ping lower. We need to pay 50 yuan per month to recharge vpn vip. Every Chinese needs to pay for asylum. We are doing our best.
2. I don't know which gang member you are, but why can NV, VC, FSA, NSF gang members easily kill us, but you can't kill us? Why didn't they find us floating around? Maybe it's your own reason. For example: poor technology,,,
3. If you find him floating around all the time, you can report him. Why didn't you report him? Do you have a video? You can send it out. I want to see the video of Chinese people flying around.

Hey man players are players, there are plenty of times that I would rather fight some laggy chinese guys then no one at all.  Everyone has something to bring to the table.  We shouldn't turn people away because of unfortunate circumstances that they play under.

The Chinese lag a lot and its pretty fucking annoying but at the same time I would rather fight laggy players than no one at all. Some of you English speakers sit in cities alll day jerking each other off so getting rid of the Chinese would kill fights at night.

As toxic as I usually am I disagree with this and instead welcome our Chinese friends to freely play on Asylum. After all we are all humans and need to respect each other’s differences. You are all just the typical racist muricans blaming your shit ass Arma skills on another race of people, maybe you should all start learning some Mandarin to make our Chinese player base feel welcome here.

That right there is a list of countries high to low with at least 25 players from each of them. Of course this is from years ago, but it means Asylum has always been a diverse server. For whatever reason, people from those countries literately chose to play on Asylum - and they've helped in so many ways: increasing server population, making donations, engaging with others, creating fun/funny moments. My best friend lives across the Atlantic and is one of the most authentic and fun guy I've met here.
You all know Asylum's server sits in Canada, right? So region locking it would mean keeping US players out. Sure, make it North American then. What would happen to all the other players from Europe or Latin America? Server will be a goddamn desert during certain times? Okay, reduce the restriction. Would we manually allow other counties as we please? So fucking bigoted.
Now, how about the 'all players should speak English' part? As soon as they join, do we make them upload a certificate? Do we make them go through a listening/speaking/reading English exam? Should they take the damn TOEFL? Another ridiculous idea.
A ping/desync restriction might be a more reasonable suggestion, but that's probably in place already. Like @King has said, if they didn't initiate properly, just report them and move on, they'll have to learn the basics if they wanna keep on playing here. Sounds like the best approach.

During search, not anywhere else.

Maybe under the name could be in bright bold red "New Player" if they have under 50 hours on civilian. 120 Hours of in game time is a lot to still be considered new. Then again the hour range could be higher?

Quick little idea. We're pushing for the best new player experience (and existing of course too) on the server, of course. 

During processing sometimes there's actual RP that goes on (we love that). During Processing/Searching we can sometimes ask "are you new to the island?" etc. Which helps us be lowkey in finding out if who we're talking to is new. Then being able to be a little easier with them if so. 

I'm suggesting an idea that during a Search, there's a part of the search that states "New Player?" and then "Yes" or "No". This can be filtered by if the player we're searching has more than maybe like 48 hours (2 days) played on the server. No need to list a specific number or anything, just the system picking up if they have over 2 days played or under. 

More than 48 hours played? "No", not a new player. Less than 48 hours? "Yes", they are a New Player. 
"No" could be red and "Yes" could be green

That's it. A simple idea that I feel APD Staff could help push to be a little more easy going on New Players.

Like MoLu said if they rdm you then report them, can't region lock a group of people that not only help the server pop during late hours but also support the server financially a great deal.  The report system is in place for a reason.

If you can keep your ping under 200 I don't care where you are from.

I don't think that's appropriate for a support team member.If the Chinese violated the rules, players could have reported it, and the Chinese also provided vitality and financial support to the server during the low times.

Would be great to search someone for there licenses instead having to search there whole persons yes if there not wanted you have to ignore what you see but your still left with that information and your not truly gonna ignore what youve seen

there should be a event feedback channel on the forums so we have a place to give feedback so the event coordinators can know what we think about the event and what should be added or taken away.

Great work guys. Monthly Events like this to some degree will be a great thing to see. 🔥

Community Challenge
 
This is going to be the first community challenge Asylum will receive. We want to try and start giving community challenges at the beginning of every month for you guys to grind for. If your gang comes out on top for the monthly challenges you will receive rewards such as Crate Keys, In-game currency, rare/expensive vehicles that may not even be purchasable in game as well as skins and titles that only the winners of these events will be able to obtain. While we run these events we want you guys to give feed back on things that you all believe would make these events better. This is new, so things will need tweaking and we want the community as a whole to help make it as fun as possible.
 
Event Description
 
The first challenge will be the gang that raises the most gang funds from federal event activities (Evidence Lock Up, Mental Asylum, Federal Reserve, Bank of Altis, Jewelry Emporium, Shipping Robbery) at the end of the month (March 31) wins the event. Money that is put into gang funds will be tracked. The money may only come from federal events, anything else and it will not count towards the challenge. For the duration of this event APD equipment will be reduced by 50% during all federal events.

-10 crate Keys
-5 ifrits added to gang garage
-5m added to gang funds
These rewards will be given to gang leaders to distribute out. The winning gang will need to msg me the player IDs of the people he/she chooses to get the keys.

-Only one person from each gang needs to register the gang
-Money from anything other then Federal events will be looked over
-You must register your gang by (3/9/2023) and on (3/10/2023) money will start being tracked.
