Adding some info about the Marid from our testing and the Cpts reasons behind their request:
10 Crew total - 1 Driver, 1 Commander, 8 Passengers. Driver/Command disembark via their respective sides. 8 Passengers all exit at the rear door.
6 Tires - 1.5 Mags of 6.5+ to Destroy wheel, .5 mag of 6.5+ to deflate. Wheels are fairly weak and hitting any obstacle at half speed or greater (IE: chicken wire fence, tree, wall ect.) will break the wheels. 
Ballistic Info - 7.62 Does not pen armored sides. 7.62 Does pen glass view panels on front and rear of the vehicle 1-2 shots to break glass (These windows are small, front view ports are best shot thru at elevated angle). 1 RPG to front to blow up, 2 RPG rounds to sides/rear to blow up. .50 Cal fully pen's all parts of vehicle.
Top speed - 108kph (very slow acceleration)
Armor V Armor - When hitting from the side/front panel wheels often are destroyed. Marid is also very top heavy and prone to rolling. Avoid the direct front and all of the rear when ramming.
Turret removed (obv)
Proposed Cost - $80,000 (Destroy/Chop Value would be $40,000) , Limited to Cpt 
Rules of engagement - Could only be pulled for Federal Events, This is not a first push vehicle. Would be used after a situation was assessed and determined greater armor is needed in-order to engage. Likely would only see this used at Bank and Prison. Too slow and not maneuverable enough for Lockup or Shipping Robbery. Federal Reserve could have it's uses but would be rarer than Bank/Prison.
The Cpts goal for adding this vehicle would be in situations where they are outgunned to be able to actually deliver officers to CQC areas. IE: not getting 1-2 shot out of the current armored vehicles apd has access to.

Nothing like adding something that only a handful of players can ever use. Make it an expensive Lt.+ vehicle.

A shout out to my boys @Chase Gustavsen and ObiWoki for getting me to trust an undercover cop to help me transport a truck brimmed with turtles to pyrgos only for it to result in a bust. Unfortunately I wasn't recording to show how mad of a job Obi did to get me to trust him, but chase may have some clips.
They both deserve a promotion.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
APD FEDERAL EVENT DOOR/DOME ACCESS:
Corporal+ may unlock and open doors/domes using officer discretion once events are elevated in order to assist in closing/clearing out the event. This is NOT to be used during any other situation. Don't forget to close the door(s) on your way out. This is NOT intended to gain advantage during active firefights/engagements to surprise attackers. This is solely for situations where someone gets locked in a vault/dome by accident or other means where the APD cannot gain access once the event ends or the doors lock.
Any officer found abusing this feature will be removed from the APD.

OYSTERS:
Oyster gathering has been added and charges shall be added as applicable:
Possession of Oysters if suspect has fresh or cooked oysters
Possession of Fried Oysters if suspect has fried oysters
If a civilian has both fried oysters and cooked/fresh oysters only charge the suspect with Possession of Fried Oysters.
CIVILIAN STRIDER:
Civilians may now purchase and use striders.
They are an illegal vehicle and shall be seized.
The driver shall be charged with Driving an Illegal Vehicle.
SHIPPING ROBBERY:
If the Shipping Robbery Vehicle has been spawned in for 3 minutes without rebels leaving the designated chop shop red zone any APD Officer may enter the driver seat of the vehicle and attempt to drive it to a safe location where a 1 minute all clear must be observed prior to seizing.

It was like 4 years ago, but I was on as an APD officer and someone said they had been terrified of heights and he wanted to get rid of this fear. In which I said jump out of a helicopter and pull a parachute. He proceeded to 1 hour later and Slammed Into the ground at Kav PD dying. 3 others watched it happen and a Medic said "I aint fixing that shit"

The claiming thing was simply an idea. As for an LT jumping into your ifrit and bailing with it, put more than one person in an ifrit? Stop us while we are heading back to HQ? Plan your tactics a little more when an LT is on?
 
So I am confused, do you want APD pulling more armor or do you want them the same price as civ? APD is designed to lose more than civ and make less money than civ, to help offset that our gear is cheaper.
