From what I understand, sometimes when you give someone money directly or transfer it to them, it can give it to "Error: No Unit." If you rob someone it cannot error. Only what I heard.
edit: When you give something to "Error: No Unit" the money just disappears.

I think I finally see what BIS has done here. The transmission on the orca is supposed to essentially be the rotor shaft, but apparently the belly of the heli is transmission as well. Bravo BIS. I guess I'll report that as a bug, and then the whole issue about the damage handler is not a thing anymore.
For now though, it will take 20 shots.
This is where the transmission actually should be on a helicopter. I exaggerated the damage to 50%/shot for this video:
So do we still shoot the little light on the belly of the orca to disable or is it now the main rotor shaft?

Oh boy. The likelihood of finding someone IRL that plays on Asylum is less likely than winning the lottery.

I live off side chat hate after I robbed me some fools and they feel the need to speak up!
I dunno. I like seeing side chat when the gangs have a text war over who RDM'd who...

Quote
an increased paycheck and decreased prices for everything
Increased paycheck or reduced prices. Can't be both. Wouldn't make any sense. Give one reward instead of splitting that one reward in to two different things that accomplish the same thing.
QuoteIn the case of the APD fighting the compound, all APD officers above the rank of LT online must agree on fighting it. If there is no LT+ online, than the cartel isn't to be fought.
If they were more active, sure. A lot of Lieutenants are not active enough for this to be viable.
QuoteWhen the higher ranking officers agree, every online officer is required to respond to "bring the compound back."
It's already required to attend the federal reserve, bank of altis, and prison break. Requiring even more combat is just going to deter people who don't like combat. That, and it promotes a shoot first, ask questions later mentality.
Quotea designated APD officer must set up at a small shed placed in the middle of the compound. The officer then must scroll wheel on a computer and sit within 20m of the computer for about 10-15 mins, until the hacking is done. Within this time, if the officer is killed or restrained, the restoration fails, similar to a bank. However, if the officers can defend the hacker, the compound is given to the APD. Rebels cannot retake the compound for another 30+ minutes
What kind of shed? One that rebels can easily penetrate through with their extremely large arsenal of 7.62 rifles? What about the ifrits and .50 cals they can just bum-rush the "shed" with? Requiring the officer to hack it for 10+ minutes as well? For real?
Quoteif 100 players are online, online gang members will receive a $500 paycheck.
Already seems more complicating than necessary requiring 100 players to be online.
100 players is the cap. There are constantly people disconnecting/reconnecting.You would never get a $500 paycheck.

I think the difference here is that you're sitting across the bridge. Try getting 110 fps while inside the prison.
Inside the prison is no problem for me.

i7 7700k and GTX 1070 (Rodrigo) - 70 fps
Majority of people in our TS said they were getting 40 fpsTry defragmenting/removing unnecessary software (not implying anything, I mean bloatware) or something. Not sure what else to say.

I get around 110fps at prison still, have not had any issues with it.
Yep - prison's fine for me. Must be a hardware issue.

1. Possible, but you'd be pinging the Database for each individual charge removal. Not sure if something we want to do
Would it really happen often enough to cause performance issues? Or is there another downside to it pinging the database every charge removal?

Why is the APD always so fixated on destroying heli's. The other day i got shot out of my hummingbird with a simple "APD, stop" and i just tried to fly off (wasnt even wanted)
Just because that happened to you, it doesn’t mean it happens all the time! That’s borderline fail RP though. I would report that.
I hope this thread doesn’t come off as wanting to be always able to disable helicopters. I just think it’s important to know how to responsibly disable a helicopter (the Taru in this case). Would you rather be downed and have it crash? Or would you rather have it disabled and have a chance to salvage the helicopter?
Have these always been like that?
