    1. Gang life may be dead but I don't want to have 23 cops there against 9 rebels and we all get caught and fucking taken there's a difference between truly fighting to the death and going to jail for 45 minutes because your retarded ass decided to go attack a cartel.

Only Sergeants or higher can perform a raid on a Cartel. This alone will make it fairly rare for a Cartel fight to include the APD, but when it does it should be pretty epic. You'll want to call for backup from your gang and put up a good fight.

    2. I did not mean new rules I mean't lethals being used constantly.

If you feel that lethal ammunition is being misused against you, file an internal affairs report.

    3. We have reported vehichles being seized in combat multiple times and nearly all of them have not had action taken.

I'm not a Lieutenant so I don't know the process of IA reports, but I can tell you that "Action taken" won't always mean points/removal. Even if points or any disciplinary is given, it's not really your business to know anyways. Sometimes being talked to is enough disciplinary required. I can't comment on any specific scenarios but it's just from what I've seen over my time in the APD.

Cartels were created for fucking rebels to fight rebels

"Gang life is dead" is a major complaint in the community. Cops being able to go and fight the rebels is supposed to help introduce people who have never seen cartels to actually see them and maybe form new gangs. You would think this is a good thing?

All these new rules with lethaling

    What new rules?

    and fucking combat seizing

We cannot seize a vehicle in combat unless it is at a police HQ. We can, however, seize the contents of the vehicle in combat at any time. Again, what's new about that?

If you're interested in providing constructive criticism (what issues are you having and how would you fix them?) there are multiple forms of providing that feedback:

  3. Officer Name

    Fails The Fox

    Officer Rank

    Cadet

    Precinct

    If any, Precinct 1.

    Description

I've seen Fails The Fox all over the place recently. It seems like he's come out of nowhere and now he's everywhere. He's always got a positive attitude and he's always calm and level-headed. It's rare to see this kind of APD officer anymore. He's extremely knowledgeable with the guidebook and he's always asking questions and making sure everything is correct before taking action.

The reason for the shout out is because I hosted a briefing, and after the briefing he wanted to talk to me about a lot of stuff he noticed as a Cadet and his time on Asylum. You can just tell when you talk to him that he absolutely cares so much about the community and the APD. He really enjoys playing and he's even looking forward to his buddies joining the APD as well (his friend Cancel just got on the APD as a Cadet as we were talking).

The dude just really cares and it's like a breath of fresh air talking to him. I suggest you guys play with him if you get a chance.

There doesn't really need to be any more cop buffs... the devs should be working towards reviving rebel life not killing it by giving more idiots power to abuse and ruin the game with even more than they already do. Not implying all higher ups are idiots but *cough* @<Jake> doesn't help make the situation look any less grim for the APD (all jokes aside) you would have to worry about all the dumb fucking constables locking people in the room every time someone sneezed in the wrong direction.

Fair enough. I would think abolishing the straight-to-jail part of HVT and adding the locked room where rebels have to lockpick to gain entry would get rid of more abuse than it would add.

Riddle me this: You're a rebel and you're an HVT. There's a point where some unrelated rebels come and start a fight with the cops. Would you prefer to be sent to jail or brought in to a secure room until the situation is quelled?

    Just playing devil's advocate here.

  5. It could be interesting to have an HVT-specific room at each police HQ. An HVT-specific room would be lockable by the police and would be required to be lockpicked by rebels.

Certain criteria would have to be met to use this room. Only one officer and one fugitive can be inside the HVT room. There could potentially be a policy in place to enforce this (which is on the APD side of things).

The only problem would be Kavala HQ where cops can endlessly respawn with no timer.

    Hotfix 2:

    • The wanted system has been re-written in game to be more optimized.  We hope this will help with overall network traffic sent to and from the server to each client.

Let an admin/dev know if something seems off in the wanted system.  We have made major changes to this system with this hotfix.

Slowly but surely! Keep up the good work.

  7. I’ve tried

Edit: Just to clarify, the Captains are in charge of the "APD Dashboard" section of Asylum's wiki. Very few people have access to edit that section of the wiki which is understandable because if too many people have access, it can cause confusion if something is unexpectedly changed for any reason. I've come to terms with the fact that there will be grammatical and spelling errors, but all of the information we need is there. It doesn't have to be perfect.
