no it would be an active 100 populated server and server 1 would probably get more populated too but if theres so many other things then all we can really do is wait for arma4
@Donaldthank you for giving positive feedback without insulting me. Very rare on asylum
ur existance is irrelevant imagine never taking a break u got mental issues ?

    1. **Economic Balance and New Player Experience**:
       - While your suggestion to create a new server to alleviate the domination of major gangs and the unavailability of houses is well-intentioned, it might not address the underlying issues. If the game's mechanics inherently favor established players or groups, these issues could simply reemerge on the new server over time.
       - New players may initially find it easier to start on a new server, but without changes to the game's core mechanics, the disparity between new and veteran players could still develop.
    2. **Server Population and Division**:
       - Splitting the player base between two servers can have unintended consequences. While it might seem that a new server would attract more players, it could also dilute the player base, leading to less interaction and potentially less dynamic gameplay on both servers.
       - There's a risk that the first server becomes perceived as less desirable or "toxic," which could discourage new players from joining it and harm the overall game community.
    3. **Role of Law Enforcement and Roleplay**:
       - Your suggestion for more nuanced and realistic roleplay, especially regarding law enforcement, is a valid point. However, implementing such changes requires careful consideration and balancing to ensure that it doesn't lead to unfair gameplay or frustration.
       - Enforcing more roleplay and less "robo cop" behavior could be beneficial, but it's also important to remember that different players have different play styles and preferences. Too much emphasis on roleplay could alienate players who are more interested in action or strategy.
    4. **Changes to Drug Gathering and Cartels**:
       - Increasing the range for drug gathering and modifying cartel dynamics are interesting ideas, but they could have unforeseen impacts on the game's balance. It's crucial to test such changes thoroughly to ensure they don't disrupt the game's economy or make certain activities too overpowered.

As of right now, any gang or group found assisting anyone ban evading in any form, the group / gang leader will be held accountable with harsh administrative action

It's your duty as "group lead / gang lead" to keep track of who you allow to play with you and your group.

Punishments will be at the discretion of the Asylum Admin team.

This is not an issue. What is an issue is the fact that half of the whitelisted constables on the server can run around with less knowledge of the guidebook than said cadets because they've been inactive for the better half of 4 months and have been allowed to keep their rank. My wild guess is that if you were to give a surprise ride along to any given constable, there is probably less than a, generous, 60% chance they would be able to pass it. Whether that be a problem with the test itself and how it concerns things which aren't necessarily applicable on a day-to-day basis of patrolling, or a problem with how incompetent the whitelisted members of the server are.
Restricting people from playing with their friends on civilian was also such a stupid thing, and put a lot of people off from getting cop.
Constables also can't buy CSAT's on cop unless I pay irl money for an RNG chance at them which is giga cringe.
There is so much more wrong with how the APD functions than this, don't punish the newcomers for the faults of the system.

there are some very concerning things that must be addressed if asylum wishes to progress to max potential...
  7. The Forgotten Legend liked a post in a topic by meme9011 in Changes to Asylum
It is difficult to avoid the fact that our beloved ARMA3 server, Asylum, is dying.
The server has been struggling for some time now and I think that it is time now that we work together as a community to add some changes. As I have been told many times in the course of my military service, "one solider cannot change the battle but a team can always".
I propose something which I think many players will not like, but I have seen it work many times on other servers at different times.
Reset the server, and make it from the ground-up.
This will certainly be unpopular with the old players who own all the houses in the biggest cities and have 50 ifrits in there garage, but starting new will definitely bring new players to the server, also causing there to be a big rush to buy the houses and make money. It would be very crazy and could be a risky move, but I could think that everyone starting fresh may bring back people who have gotten tired of the server and also attract new players who are interested in the new opportunities.
I also propose that there is a heavier focus on RP implemented into the server. Right now the role-play aspects are very minimal and the RDM rates are high. Everytime I try and go anywhere it's just "bullet hell".
I have also seen other players say that maybe we change the map. I think that would be a good idea but also requires alot of work from the developers I imagine and could be very, very frustrating. That being said, a smaller and newer map could bring us all a bit closer to action and would improve the game-play. Also, new map = fun, lol.

That's all I have for now. Cheers

Hello! I bring to you my best suggestion ever...
A magical spell book to cast out spells like wizards....from teleporting, to changing the weather, and even summoning storms/making an earthquake!

pages you find across the lands in treasures and capping cartels, banks, feds, ect... will bring to you compentents being able to craft pages allowing them to make a book of magical spells. depending what page you have you can do its special ability...
!make it rain will cause a heavy storm across the entire server... knowing a magical wizard has casted a spell across the lands
once a heavy rain is casted, he can then summon a tornado if not that a light bolt and strike and burn his enemy.
few more !showmethelight - day time !dark !clouds
    !earthquake !hurricane !teleport

these things will motivate players to farm for the rewards obtained from quests/achievements if they are going for pages that allow spells to be casted.

so you finally realize that money from cartels going straight to gung funds is ruining the economy? bring back dirty money and increase the cost of clothing/weapons so people craft.
I like the house bill cuz I actually know what Im doing. I played asylum when it was hard so for me, this shits easy.
see how everyone is crying and complaining? Children...
stop favoring the children they're all little boys that want it simple and easy.
    fuck em
  15. The Forgotten Legend liked a post in a topic by Infamous [FULL SEND] in Re: Electric bills
no, it's easy when we're good players and you blow every cock and ball within a 10 mile radius.

Anyways, money is truly not a problem at all. It's possible to live in basically poverty. Look at @Tallo, my man had like 200k in the bank and 20 million spent at rebel. Obviously this was before his generous donation of 17 million dollars from @.Max. But this should prove that money is generally not important. Now people like @Leroy Jenkinswho literally spend nothing, not even on food and water; instead opting to pick berries. I think it's the main concern if you're trying to deflate the economy would be decreasing the value of the currency, not taxing or giving us electric bills. In short increasing pricing of vehicles, housing, weapons, clothing. Now it's important to keep in mind that the APD is a massive problem to this, if you want to deflate the economy you cannot let the APD make lots and lots of money and not only spawn in with a free loadout (which many officers tend to use as their primary loadout) but also not allowing the APD to buy their loadouts at 1/5th of the price and make hundreds of thousands. Now it's also important to notice that you shouldn't increase the price of things and add massive debuffs or change the meta in its whole as that will just ruin the game for all. A great example for this is the RPG, 250 thousand dollars, which in itself is insane because the value has risen 833% in since it was added way back. Not only do you have to pay 250 thousand dollars, you're not guaranteed to destroy a vehicle let alone kill its occupants. In general you should keep this mindset instead, increasing prices of all "end game" materials which would be (Armored cars, helicopters, large vehicles, loadouts, houses). Increasing this by 25% would mean 25% more of the money in circulation will be taken out. Now the only problem with this is money making, it should be kept relatively easy; allowing new players to make money, but made harder for "end game" methods of making money like making meth (make a special "storage crate" upgrade for the house which allows you to place illegal ingredients into your home; which will costs a certain amount to upkeep monthly, if you fail to pay it you cannot put in or take out these illegal ingredients). In all, my personal opinion; the focus shouldn't be centered to a money sinkhole like house upkeep or expensive house extensions like crypto mining, it should be deflating the economy via inflation of prices without an inflation of the value of the currency.

Im glad the electricity bills are here. I can afford it no problem. Ive been sayin the entire time asylum has to much money on it. glad admins added this.
I do think u should add a method for us to reduce our bill .
  18. The Forgotten Legend liked a post in a topic by Teddy_ in Electric bills.
I like the electric bill period

Game needed a money sink, people get money easily with drugs so why not have your houses cost you money like they should
the people complaining about it are usualy just people that barely play the game and never want to make money when they do play which is not how a life server should be.
i'm going against my gang opinion with this as well but if people actually have to grind more often, there will also be more interactions / reasons to rob people other then just to mess with someone will make places that are quite dead like 90% of the map is right now come alive again

So keep the electric bill , removing it only benefits people that sit in their houses all day / get on to fight  or only log on to make sure they dont lose their houses

I had to pay 400k for all my houses that's like 300 lsd / wax how ever am i going to make that money back in a week =/ HMMMMM PLEASE REMOVE SOMETHING THIS GAME NEEDS < sarcasm

Also you guys complaining are pussies  jk

The END love you henry facesmasher ❤️

I never understood that mechanic, all it does is make someone turn themselves in to a cop so they can be sent to jail. This just creates free money for whoever gets to arrest them
  21. Huan Lee liked a post in a topic by The Forgotten Legend in courthouse
    A wise man once said
    |If you were in a real court session and somebody held up a bloody glove with nothing else to prove it yours and they convict you of murder wouldn't that suck? |
if that were true, you'd allow us to turn ourselves into the courthouse over 100k bounty.
this is such an inconvenience for rebels. It stops us from turning ourselves in and stops us from making money... I don't want to give my bounty to a slimey rdming bounty hunter or a 1 tap taser robo cop...
in real life a criminal can %100 turn himself in no matter how high his bounty.

if you don't make every aspect of the game revolve around money, and change the rules of initiation to actually needing to talk to the person and see what they'll do. 5 seconds causes to many problems..
I dont understand why its "you need to turn yourself into a cop/bh at 100k bounty." that ruins my gaming experience.

You can fix this by allowing bounty for a reward shop + add achievments.
To exchange a bounty for a reward that will help you succeed.
Rewards being crafting minerals/gems/drugs/ect to craft with, pc parts, or exchange the bounty for a %of blood money.
this will favor those who like to fight but do not have time to farm. If they own a house they can just turn in their bounty and store their ingredients in their house(a reasonable amount to help those craft guns and fight, keeping mining a efficient method) or take blood money not real money so now they can only buy gear forcing them to mine.
This might increase runs/robberies/over all addiction to asylum.

The compensation given by the admins should always come from the banned player's account. We don't need to spawn in money for someone because another person broke the rules. Make them pay for it.
