That cut is superb, I really enjoyed this visual.

This has increased my possibility of overdosing due to the returning of traumatic experiences from Steve Cosma.

Beanies, they look awesome and provide 0 advantage to its wearer. I think they should be added to the available accessories that AFD is provided and also able to be saved in the loadout system.

No rule or red zone needs to be added, when you enter Kavala you pretty much sign a waiver.

We will be running some additional logging and profiling for a little while. This may or may not have some impact on server performance.
    Added:
Loadout Saving System. Available locations are: rebel, skiptracer, cop HQs, medic HQs. Loadouts will overwrite any existing gear, so make sure you don't have anything special on you don't want to lose! Ability to save up to 3 loadouts per faction side Can subscribe to get an additional 2 slots. You cannot save gear that is not available in the shops you're currently at. Additional stat tracking for around 50-60 different things. Will become available on the asylum stats page soon. War system. Killing someone in a war grants you Blood Money. Blood Money can be used to purchase clothing and weapons at rebel outposts. Custom Control 16 will now toggle lethal/non-lethal (cop only). Re-added protest signs. Slot machine to Casino. New icons for uranium. Virtual item shops will display how much room you have. 5 new animations, usable with the !e command (e.g !e squat2). New variant of squat - "squat2". "point" - points off into the distance. "thebird" does exactly what you think it does. "slowmo" slow-mo running animation. "execute" surprise hostages by fake executing them. The escape menu will now display important Asylum related links as clickable buttons. Free fire line for Drug Peninsula. Re-added automatic charges for executions (i.e if someone gets killed in civ restraints) and gang homicides. Medical to Skiptracer. Prestige for seizing illegal vehicles. Changed/Tweaked:
Some client performance improvements. Updated APD Strider Skin Some small network optimizations. Loading in after server restarts should be significantly faster. Revives can no longer be spammed with windows key. The death camera shouldn't go through walls/buildings as often. Slightly increased the time of auto health-regen. Go-Karts can no longer be pulled at any garage. Officers will be able to restore power to the evidence lock up quicker. 5 minutes -> 2.5 minutes. LT/Paramedic will be able to open doors with "U" instead of unlocking the whole house. Gang house inventories can now be accessed by rank 4s and above rather than 3. Lethals can be loaded/unloaded inside vehicles again. Dropping items near briefcases will stack the items inside the existing briefcases instead of dropping a new one. Cop ratio: Cop ratio will now count medics in addition to civilians. Ratio changes: 6 Cops allowed online at all times. 9 Cops Allowed after 31 Civs/Medics. 15 Cops Allowed After 56 Civs/Medics. 17 Cops Allowed After 76 Civs/Medic. Jail times: Maximum jail time is 25 minutes. The back-end calculation to determine how long you will be in jail based on your charges has been shortened across the board. Bounty amounts are the same. This is to match the fact we changed the max prison time from 45 mins - 25 mins a few patches ago. Most of the time you won't notice but a few key charges that have changed are... Manslaughter 4mins instead of 6.25. Federal Events 5mins instead of 7.5. Loot box keys no longer require a loot box to be opened. Just click use on the key! Fixed:
Donor/loot-crate wetsuits will now show up at cop diving shops. A rare bug for cops/medics resulting in a money wipe. An exploit allowing you to purchase an already owned garage. Fuel trucks despawning whilst pumping oil. A bug causing you to be jailed every time you log in. A bug allowing you to exploit out of your jailtime. Master Bounty Hunter not being unlearnable with a rebel license. Cop: "Heedful" talent only working with air vehicles. Cop: warrant tracking only working for admins/captains. Removed:
Ability for medics to pick up illegal items. Ability to sell gold bars at turfs. Ability to spawn at turfs (or in nearby houses) whilst a turf is contested. Ability for medics to throw grenades. Map drawing in sidechat. Unused sounds (seatbelt). Unused images. Some unused code and other files. Semi-broken "intro" animation. A car wreck inside a purchasable garage.

    Hey all,
With the upcoming subscriber system fast approaching. We will need some fresh skins to be live on the server. I do realize that we have some resident skin makers within the team here. But I believe you too should have a shot at getting your product on the server for everyone to enjoy.
What is in it for you? If your skin is selected to be used in the month, I will give you that month free for your subscription, and the following month. SO FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T READ
    YOU GET FREE STUFF
But, we as a community deserve the best, so selections will be tricky. You need to spend some time on the skin, as we can all copy and paste images and textures. The more detail the better!
    Now down to the business:
We are looking for Armor, Hatchback sport, Orca's for both Civ and Cop.
How do you apply, enter or submit your skin? Easy, make a thread with your skins and I will work my hardest to review each image and see the community feedback on it. Just be advised that my inbox is on absolute fire most days, so it takes me a bit to get back to everyone. My 1 word a minute hinders me a bit....

    Until next time,
    Mitch

    Afternoon folk,

For the duration of the Arma 3 week we will be whitelisting players.

If you are a new player and have a desire to play on our servers you need to create a support ticket here: https://www.gaming-asylum.com/forums/index.php?/support/

The whitelist enforcement will drop off sometime after the free week.

    Thank you.

    Basic AFD Rules
AFD members must be loyal to all AFD Policies, as well as follow Server Rules Any AFD equipment must only be used by AFD Members, you may not share anything with anyone not on-duty as an AFD Member AFD members may not be kidnapped by gangmates, if this were to happen you may not help them during a federal event or give them AFD issued gear You must remain in character and roleplay with other players, failure to do so will result in disciplinary action Be respectful to fellow AFD Members, Police Officers, and Civilians Do not use profanity or harass anyone Do not bribe, lie, cheat, steal, pick up/use Illegal items, or plant Illegal items on people (trying to bypass any of these in anyway is also forbidden) If taken hostage, do not give gangmates or friends any AFD issued equipment Never kill people or accept weapons from other factions (Thank you, Zaka) If there is an obvious indication that the person you're trying to help is going to get shot again (such as when a hostile player is near the person), don't revive/narcan them. Use some decency and decide if the person has a window of opportunity to escape the situation rather than just get shot right away. Do not transport anyone in or out of combat Don't go AFK on medic Do not give callouts to civilians/rebels or the APD while they are in active combat. (This applies outside of federal events as well) TeamSpeak and Discord
All AFD members must be in the AFD specific TeamSpeak channels while on-duty. Also remember to be in the channel that corresponds to where you are so others know what cities could use help.  Your in-game name and TeamSpeak name must match so you can be identified Off-duty AFD members below the rank of Paramedic are restricted from joining medic TeamSpeak channels If you are not a whitelisted cop, you may only enter cop channels if you are the medic that will be aiding them during the federal event.  When assisting the APD during a Federal Event, you are then permitted to be in an APD Federal Event Channel which corresponds to the Federal Event with "(medic)" next to your name. Federal Events and Redeploying
Only 2 medics are allowed to attend a federal event. 1 medic is assigned to cops and 1 assigned to rebels. If you are attending the event alone, you can choose either side to help. You must also be in the incident command channel or the appropriate cop channel in order to attend. There is no limit too how many times you can go back.  AFD members are able to redeploy to a city that requires their attention. They are also allowed to redeploy for any federal event or to go back their original cities.  If more than 6 medics are online you may still use the redeploy feature to deploy to cities that you receive a 311 or a revive request from if no medics are within 3km of the revive/311 request. Exploiting/Glitching/Bugged Players
If a player is exploiting, glitching, or bugged this is the only time you are allowed to break Roleplay and inform the player of the issue If a player appears to be exploiting, glitching, or using bugs on purpose (i.e.: to give themselves a gameplay advantage), please report them as you normally would here Response
For single medic requests, the first AFD member to arrive on scene is entitled to the revive. For a multiple casualty incidents, try to divide up the work among yourselves.  While on duty as a medic you have a duty to act and must make an attempt to revive any civilians or police. The only exceptions to your duty to act is if your scene is unsafe, whether a civilian will be shot again instantly or a civilian, cop, or rebel is being hostile towards you (actively shooting or kidnapping AFD personnel). Flight Medics
Do not hover around populated areas just to be annoying. Either land or fly away.  Do not land in the middle of a road. If your helicopter gets damaged/destroyed, it will be your fault. House Repair
AFD Medics may respond to house repairs upon requests. In the event the APD blew up the house, AFD medics must wait until APD has completed their search warrant before any attempt to rebuild the house. AFD medics may not rebuild a gangmates house, or their gang house. Medics may not rebuild homes owned by affiliated members. Medics are not allowed to repair their own house. Random Drug Testing
AFD Medics will not be able to participate in the use of illegal drugs while on duty. Due to an increase in PTSD among AFD members, the use of medical marijuana will be permitted while on duty. For those with nicotine addictions, the use of vapes will be permitted to combat withdrawal symptoms.
    A-EMT+ Policy
    Vehicles
       Hunter
Hunters can only be operated by medics ranked A-EMT+. Limit 2 Hunters per city. The Hunter is intended for defensive use only. Its purpose is to provide a higher level of protection when responding to hostile situations.  They are NOT to be used in an offensive manner, i.e. to ram other armor. Doing so is strictly prohibited. You are allowed to permit anyone below A-EMT to operate hunters if you remain in the vehicle. Hunters may be given to lower ranks only during federal events (The A-EMT will be responsible for them and the vehicle)
    Taru (Medical)
As this vehicle is unable to sling other vehicles, standard procedure for helicopters will be followed when flying. AEMTs are allowed to let lower ranking medics fly the helicopter, however must remain in the helicopter with them. Paramedic+ Policy
    House Entry
Paramedic+ only Ability Medical requests ONLY When making entry to revive someone, the Paramedic+ should announce who they are and that they are making entry to render medical aid. Paramedics+ are tasked with the responsibility of ensuring that their entry will not allow anybody else to enter. If civilians and/or cops are near the doors, do not enter.  Vehicles
      Strider
Striders can only be operated by medics ranked Paramedic+. Limit 2 striders per city. You are allowed to permit anyone below paramedic to operate striders if you remain in the vehicle.  Striders may be given to lower ranks only during federal events (The paramedic will be responsible for them and the vehicle)    Taru (Sling-load version)
Medics ranked Paramedic+ now have access to the standard Taru helicopter Medics are NEVER allowed to sling load a vehicle unless they have permission from the owner/driver.  Medics may NEVER sling load an illegal vehicle. Following standard policy, medics may NEVER lift any civilian or cop vehicles into or out of combat areas. This includes transporting police to an HQ so that they may respond to a federal event faster/transporting civilians to rebel so they can gear faster. Tarus may be used to lift other MEDIC vehicles into combat areas so long as existing policy is still being followed regarding federal events and illegal areas. If another medic wishes to fly a Taru, the paramedic must remain in the helicopter with them at all times. TeamSpeak
Paramedics+ are not allowed to enter police higherup channels at all (unless you’re a retired higherup). Have a SGT+ give you permission before joining their channels.  Police ranks should never be given out, even if it's just for the memes.
