The only reason to change a gang name after the leader is banned is to reintegrate said banned leader under a new alias/account to avoid admin suspicion. Oldest trick in the book.

I've noticed that when cops see gangs like PDX, DS, Farmersville, or BLS, they tend to get really jumpy, and almost throw away both the idea of mutual respect, but also the presumption of innocence. This ends up being really problematic, as you always have officers pointing guns at you, commanding you to leave areas, or otherwise roleplaying as though they are already engaged. I understand why it happens, I play cop too, but I just think that it's something that should be more explicitly dealt with in the guidebook. Like, yes, a cop going into dangerous neighborhoods irl is gonna be jumpy, but 1) supposedly they're trained to not let that show, and 2) on Asylum, cops treat every city like South Chiraq, so it sort of loses the feeling of "dangerous neighborhoods". Obviously I'm not suggesting points or punishments, because I think asking officers to completely let their guard down or face punishment is not a good idea, but perhaps changing the wording in the guidebook, or even adding a section in the guidebook for "conduct/SOP when patrolling cities" is a good idea. That SOP would basically outline and illustrate both the ideal conduct for officers when not in danger/under fire, as well as clearly outlining what officers can and can't do to civilians in that circumstance. It would state that once fired upon, officers transition out of that SOP/state, and may wait for a 3 minute all clear (no shots, no threats, no sitings of weapons or enemies) to resume "patrolling SOP".

I'm totally up to suggestions, and would love to hear what everyone else thinks. I'm gonna repost this to the civilian suggestion topic, because I'm unsure if non-cops can see this.

Basically when you scroll wheel and get House options, the game will give you the option to send an "offer" to the current owner if a house is sold, and it will also allow a message. The owner has the choice to accept the offer, OR respond anonymously to the offer with either a price AND a message, or just a price. The entire thing will be anonymous, so that people won't be giving intel on who owns what, but it will also allow real estate transactions to be made without people either having to list the house or people having to do recon to first figure out who owns it.
