This announcement really makes me want to finish this.  Would be a great side mission for AFD.

I've been working on a random vehicle crash event and have made the bare bones of it and was wondering what everyone's opinion on it is.  Its mostly for police and medics to go and clean up the wrecked vehicles and tend to the injuries of the passenger(s) for a monetary reward.  There could possible be a civ/rebel function for it too.  If a civ/rebel rolls up on a crash site they could possibly repair and lock pick the vehicle to either chop it or use it.  Only police and medics would be notified of the crash though so it would be hard for a civ/rebel to find one.
The way this works is it picks a random location on the map, finds the nearest road, makes sure there is no player near the spot so the player doesn't crash into it, selects a random crash scene template and then notifies police and medics.
Just thought this would add a little content to medics and police (possibly civs/rebels).
    Current Feature List:
    - Animated NPCs around crash site (Probably need to work on this a bit more)
    - Damaged vehicles
    - Treated injured occupants of the vehicles
    - Repair vehicles
    - Ability to copy NPCs and Vehicles placed into EDEN editor for crash scene templates
    - Notify police/medics of crash
    - Impound Vehicles
    Planned Features:
    - NPCs that can bleed out
    - Once crash site is cleaned up medics/cops are paid that were at scene:
      - Increase payment based on:
        - Initial distance from crash site
        - Time it takes to clean up crash site
        - If vehicles were repaired prior to impound
        - If you saved a NPC that was bleeding out
    - Crash scenes with HEMMTs or other vehicles that have virtual inventory/actual inventory that can be robbed by Civs/Rebels
    - OnStar headquarters that has a terminal that can be hacked to let all civilians know when a crash occurs
    - Police capability to restore the terminal to remove civ access.

As we've stated previously, new content was not to be expected in this. We redid some menus and added some additional functionality to some things. It was well stated I feel that BH/Infamy/Honor was going to be non-existent. Medic is not on the server due to talks of making it whitelisted. However, if the issues the current servers have is still present, we know the cause is completely due to civilian/cop side and we have a lot less to go through. We want to rework the infamy/honor stuff as it's pretty OP in some regards and we want to re-balance some of it. However, having that stuff out too, helps with debugging purposes if we still have issues.

The current stuff we're working on is just some on death related stuff. Azeh and I worked through a few last minute things a bit ago.

A guy apprehended a highly wanted criminal.  Sounds like someone being a cop. Role-play definition: act out or perform the part of a person or character.
What did you want. "Oh, Mr. Murderer how is your wonderful sunny day going?  I see you are TYPING in chat.  That must mean I can trust you and that you want to talk.  Could we casually just cruise down to the nearest coffee shop and get a cup of coffee and discuss how you have brutally murdered 10 people and been manufacturing/distributing highly illegal drugs?"

Im not making an argument buddy.  I was just pointing out his hypocrisy.  In multiple posts he compared it to real life and then in his last post he was saying this isn't real life and shouldn't be cared to real life.
AND I know how police work is done in real life....

I hate this fucking mentality that full or near full ticket = no role-play from the cop.  Sometimes a person will have great role-play as a civilian but be guilty of his/her crimes of fucking over poor innocent people and an officer would be 100% in the right to give full ticket.  In my mind that is rewarding role-play by showing you paid enough attention to see they were guilty.  Whether that was by investigating by watching the acts first hand, interviewing witnesses, questioning the suspect or whatever other methods.  That is role-playing as a COP.  Because those innocent people deserve their justice.  Think about all the stuff the innocent people lost from those crimes.
    HOWEVER
There should definitely be a way to reward players that aren't able to or just don't want to pay a full/near full ticket when s/he puts effort into solid role-play.  I haven't put much thought into it but maybe there be an option "Send to jail (Good behavior)" which does some better things that normal people sent to jail won't get.  Like some % reduced time, access to fun mini-games while in jail, pressing plates give a bigger reduction in bail price, maybe they just start out with a % reduced bail price, or any other thing.  I was never too big a fan of the "if they put in effort into role-play reduce their ticket (even if they are 100% guilty)" philosophy.  They should be rewarded in other ways as mentioned previously.  OR just create a better parole/probation system.
Edit:  Also I honestly believe the mentality of auto giving reduced ticket for effort in role-play from the civilian is one of the causes that led to lower role-play.  The reason for that is cause the cop will see the person role-playing (even if low quality role-play) and lose interest because they know they will be shamed, called robocop or whatever if they do reasonably find the suspect deserves a full/near full ticket.  So they figure whats the point in even investigating or interrogating the suspect.

I have been working on a new search menu.  One of the main reasons is it is hella annoying when you search someone and some jack wagon speeds in Kavala replacing the search menu with that message or any other stupid ass message that pops up.  Now you no longer have to worry!!!  Also, when a person has a shit ton of stuff/licenses it will no longer take up the entire right side of your screen.
I am also working on the ability to seize individual items.
    Features:
      - Shows all licenses, illegal virtual items, and weapons/clothes/accessories the searched person has
      - Shows and seizes magazines inside a weapon
      - Shows the ammo inside a magazine
      - When a magazine is seized it now keeps the correct ammo when going into the vehicle
      - Shows all attachments to all weapons
      - Attempts to put items that aren't seized back in players inventory if player has space
      - Seize given number of selected physical items from a person including uniform and vest (if they are police) (and HOLY FUCK does BI make it  more complex than it needs to be to do that!!!!!)
      - If you seize uniform/vest and player doesn't have a backpack then give the player an assault pack and store uniform/vest items in it
      - Revoke individual licenses
      - Seize given number of selected virtual illegal item.
    Version 1.0:
    Additions:
      - Revoke individual licenses
      - Seize given number of selected illegal virtual item.
      - Shows value of illegal virtual items at the top of the menu
    Version 0.75:
    Additions:
      - Seize given number of selected physical items from a person including uniform and vest (if they are police) (and HOLY FUCK does BI make it  more complex than it needs to be to do that!!!!!)
      - If you seize uniform/vest then store uniform/vest items in backpack, but if the player doesn't have a backpack then give the player an assault pack and store uniform/vest items in it
    Version 0.5:
    Additions:
      - Shows and seizes magazines inside a weapon
      - Shows the ammo inside a magazine
      - When a magazine is seized it now keeps the correct ammo when going into the vehicle
