Legit question, everytime I've ever gotten something out of a loot crate besides cars, others aren't able to see the skin and after a while it just disappears  and is replaced with a basic skin, is this going to be the same for the backpacks?

Nice job! finally something we all asked for coming to altis xD

    Edit:
Oh i just read that the apd and afd are working together, so white listed medics will be reviving cops at feds/banks and not civs?

As we continue to work behind the scenes to get the new medic systems into place we wanted to give a look into where we stand and some of the things coming.

First off let me officially congratulate @Jake as the first Chief of the Altis Fire Department.
Jake has been and will continue over the next few days to get policies in place and begin to fill out the ranks. Helping him along the way is Assistant Chief @Bread.
The rank structure is quite a bit different compared to the APD where we have 3 captains with 1 of them being an admin chief of police position. At the end of the day the CoP is still another captain when it comes to policies and decisions for the apd. On the other hand, the AFD will have 1 Chief position that is the ultimate decider in all related matters. As Bread is doing, there will be 2-4 Assistant Chief positions that are responsible for helping the Chief to make new policies and enforce AFD guidelines.
The other ranks are as follows:
    Paramedic - (Junior Staff)
    Advanced EMT
    EMT
    EMR - (Cadet)

In addition to new uniforms for each rank you will also be seeing some new vehicles and old ones with new skins moving around Altis with the launch of the AFD. A huge shout out to @Boon whom without, much of this wouldn't be possible. His work has been far above and beyond what we could imagine. He has created almost everything skin wise from the logo, to the teaser image you see below. We've also brought in @GO7NEY to help finish off the new skins and chalk this part of the project complete.

One major game-play change to highlight is the working relationship between the APD and AFD especially around federal events. While the APD holds command authority during such events medics will be on standby to rush into harms way to assist those who are in need. The APD and AFD will have joint communication channels for all federal events as well. Their teamwork will also extend outside of major events around the island, more to come on that later though. While there will always be some friction when new things are introduced both factions have agreed to have policy changes in place to help alleviate as much of that friction as they can.
Finally, how do you join? Like the Apd there will be applications on the forums. We hope to have them opened very soon, right now we plan to open them prior to the new medic system being implemented on the servers. That means there will be a gap of time between acceptance and the new faction rolling out. In the meantime the old un-whitelisted medic is live on the servers but has no impact on any rank for AFD.
There is still some work to be done, as such there is no ETA on the factions release. We are expecting more information around the AFD to be provided by the Chiefs later this week.

Since we're waiting on perks/talents etc. to be reworked, can we get an interim heli garage at turfs?

In Game Name: CEO | Daddy Grizz
    Age: 21
Are you a member of the APD (rank): Ex-Corporal (Not Currently)

Have you been banned on Asylum? If so how long and what for?: RDM/Combat Logging, All reports have been discussed and bans were removed during each time. Reasons can range up to losing internet connection, or a misunderstanding/crossfire between civs on APD. My last ban was of 2018 for CL, which was removed by staff/LT.

Any previous Gangs: Coke Boyz | [ASF] | Genesys | Other small to mid-sized gangs over the years
    Mic: Yes *Discord/TeamSpeak*
Reason why I want to join?: I have assisted Drunk Squad members over the years here and there since 2017. Breaking them outta prison, helping them fight APD, helping them fight rebels every once in a while. I do know a few DS members might remember me for my skill/play style with PVP/RP. I'm looking for a serious gang to take cartels, make money, fuck with the APD, and drink some beer and get drunk! I'm like a merc, I've bounced from small gang to medium sized gangs and tired of the BS of going inactive or not doing anything. Give me 4-5 beers, let me buy a rifle, and give me a target to eliminate.
Cash: 2.9 Million and Rising Quickly (I can afford my shit and others)
    Thank you for your consideration.

    Probably.

The max amount of mk1's ive been able to get in 1 crate was like 10-12 give or take but definitely not 30-60.

Let me start off by saying the new housing update is a massive improvement from what we had beforehand and i dont wanna seem to premature about making posts about V2 when it just went live but i feel like its better to get it out of the way before everything is set in stone and some people are questioning the new upgrade prices.
Before V2 everyone was custom to buying a house for 70k, 120k, 150, 220k etc and then buying multiple crates whether they be small or large. But now from what im gathering the house is basically one big crate which isnt a bad thing at all, but upgrading the storage space itself is where i can see there being an issue.
Right now every house starts off with 100 phys and virtual and to get more you need to upgrade and it seems quite expensive if you add up owning 10 houses, max you can own.
220k 3 crate house before v2 selling at market price including crates would cost you 280k all in, times that buy 10 assuming you have all 220k's, thats 2.8mill for 10 houses.
Now, if you buy a 220k and upgrade it 5,15,30K for phys and 5, 35, 55K for virtual, thats 3.6mill for 10 houses.
Why is there such a big increase for v2?
Now im not mad or upset by this, i like the addition of paying for storage upgrades but i just think the pricing is a little steep right now and should maybe be addressed before anything with v2 is set in stone. You guys have been transparent throughout the development of things so im sure you'll state your reasons and address any concerns.
Forgot to tagged the big bois: @Jesse @Clint Beastwood

I like how there is no need to go to housing market to buy crates, but what is really a downfall is them prices, I know from an average player it can be quite expensive to upgrade especially from my point of view it really is and already had a hard hit on my bank balance.
