Axe
The memory issues are further worsened by player count (at least it seems that way). Usually we see crashes from time to time when 70-80 players. When fights occur, when the servers have an additional 10-15 people for fights, we see 100 player counts, like we are now. The more players. The more memory used. The more crashes. Nothing has changed, it's just the Pop has gone up and Bohemia made changes to Client MAllocs, not sure about svr mallocs. At least this is how I see it. Link to comment
Boris
Certain admins are doing all they can to combat it, including hard restarting to clear the memory. It's kinda sucky but it's a lot better than it was a little while ago. Link to comment
Guest
We are well aware of the issue. Paratus and Bamf have been monitoring it. All the admins can now see memory usage and will be hard restarting the servers as they get high. It sucks but it is something the admin team is constantly watching for. No, its been like that for awhile but admins now have the ability to actually monitor it and take action when they see this compared to Bamf noticing, then asking us to complete a restart. It is a positive thing that more of us can monitor it and complete a restart to help combat high memory. Link to comment
