    Can't agree on this more and to enforce that it will not be abused put a policy in place that they can be seized if they have a robbery charge of any of the federal events where these can be found. (or make it so they can only be seen if searched and person had said charges problem solved)

    Seizing illegal vehicles has had a timer written by policy, the policy includes that a illegal vehicle can be seized whenever there is a 1 minute all clear, this timer does not apply whenever a illegal vehicle gets pulled into a HQ.
    Yet whenever an LT+ drives an illegal vehicle back to a HQ to seize it or the shipping robbery tempest / hemtt gets driven to HQ cause of policy's in place that allows us to do so, We sometimes cannot seize them due to the current coded timer in place.
    Most of the time this ends up at a point where we still need to wait 1 minute inside of a HQ or sometimes even longer because of the combat timers range or an HQ getting attacked. Most often does this end up in cops losing the fight whilst they actually won the fight already or just wasted time in general.
    Suggestion for adjustment would be either remove the seize timer whenever such vehicle is inside of any of the HQ or if this is impossible remove the timer overall. I do not see any other reason to execute this besides people not abiding to the rules of 1 minute all clear outside of HQ which if getting reported would lead up to disciplinary action either way.

    OP is saying server mechanic contradicts policy, policy also contradicts server mechanic. Maybe address that issue, illiterate CM.

    This policy was put in place back when CEO was at its peak, the reason behind it was due to most federal events started having an overwhelming amount of rebel Ifrits roaming around the event, most times just the ifrits alone outnumbered the cops online. To combat this the policy was made, intending to help thin out the amount of armor in the fight and possibly aid in leveling out the playing field. The amount of armor on the map these days compared to earlier Asylum is still a staggering amount.
    This is only allowed to be done by a LT+ which means that a MK1 is temporarily removed from the fight, most times for a extended amount of time due to the HQ its being seized at still being within range of combat which kind of gives a edge to the rebels. I do not see us removing this policy due the the shier amount of armor still being used these days, but at the same time it should be done in order to aid a fight when needed and not abused. I dont want to see a large group of officers who either respond up in overwhelming force or are involved in a fair or close to fair fight do this just to stomp on the rebel force.
    The last thing we want to do is put down the rebel side of the community and demotivate them, without the rebels there would be nothing for the cops to do and without the cops the rebels would be fighting cartels all day and the server would die. If this has become a issue, feel free to contact bbgreg or myself and we can look into reworking the policy to add in stipulations on when this would allowed to be done.
    My guess of the combat range would be the range that initiation would still take place, 2km
