    How sad is it that this is the 400th time this topic has been brought up and will be the 400th time the COP will make up some bullshit as to why he cant make it better?  Promotions have always been the same... 
    The moment a command member shows they cannot be unbiased and  punish someone they don't like because of gang and/or personal bullshit they should be demoted for corruption of power. 
    Action taken is the biggest meme in the APD.  Command should be expected to be held more accountable, but lets be real that has never been the case and I don't see it at this point being the case.  I watched a LT use his power to unlock doors to check crates and shit to determine if he was going to raid or not....  Dude never even got a talking to.  Durga literally did/probably still does whatever he wants.  Subaru once gave me points for following the guidebook to a T (lol), then threatened to give me more/ban me for taking it to the captains to appeal.    
    That's because they're doing dumb shit... Such as lethaling "because I can". The only perk LTs/Captains really have over the lowers is the armor, which they refuse to pull most of the time.  As a retired Sgt with 13 hunters, I pulled and lost more than any Sgt+ that I played with over the times that I have played. Someone who cant even buy them anymore, and once it is lost its gone. Think about that for a moment.
    I have watched people go from constable to LT in a matter of 3 months because they were in the captains gang while people who were Sgts for 12+ months continually got ignored.  These guys didnt even know or understand the guidebook most times.  Didn't even bother learning all the finer points until they had to start punishing people, if at all.  
    Command needs to stop with the bullshit cop outs when it comes to promotions.  "I don't know you because we don't play together" or similar jargon. It is a promoter problem not a promotee problem.  You need to reach out to them and spend time with them, not vice versa.  We all know the moment someone seeks someone out if they're not friends y'all are just gonna say their knee padding and go hide in you private channels.  If you cant be assed to go spend some time with someone who is applying and only promote your gang because its easier or you play together more then you don't belong in that position.

    The “map” aspect of the cartel doesn’t need changed (Less than 2% of oil cartel caps will be defended).  But switching it back to generating Rubber would be spectacular.
     
    -Get rid of all alcohol manufacturing except Scotch.  No one does the other alcohols.
    Dynamic Market definitely needs tweaked, if not removed.
    Remove the police checkpoint gates, they’re pointless.
    Add crank vans!!!
    DS has yet to do an evidence locker robbery (we usually lack the numbers).  So we’re just clueless when it comes to that, which may be why it hasn’t been robbed so much... people just don’t know what’s involved, maybe??

    On top of all these, the gang house system could use a slight rework. If the person who owns the gang house doesnt log in the house disappears straight away but the gang has a chance of disappearing also with whatever gang perks or money it has. Maybe make it so it warns others in the gang when they log in that the house will "foreclose" or something just so people can make changes or ask the owner to log in.

    Hey all,

    During our staff meeting some members expressed that they'd like me to put out an update to you guys and address some commonly asked questions.
     
    When will V2 be released? - Sometime on the week of July 14th - 20th. Probably the later portion of the week either Thurs at midnight or so or Friday. In my opinion we are on track to meet this goal and we have a bit of additional help to make it happen even more now. Will I lose my housing? - No, all housing inventory and locations should maintain. Will I lose my current loadout? - Yes, due to a defect in existing code we are going be wiping all active loadouts and global compensating a general dollar amount for everyone. If you require additional money put in a compensation request for it at that time. We'll have a log of what everyone had so please don't try to bullshit us... You could get "comp banned" or something along those lines... Will I lose my talents? - Yes, your talents will get reset. You'll maintain your EXP and x amount of talents, however you'll have to re-insert them to the tree. Will the server issues be fixed? - I would hope so... However, we can't be sure until it goes live. The goal of V2 is to have a very basic Asylum mission without the glitter essentially. Some features will be disabled and added at a later date. This way if the issue is there upon release the amount of things we have to check and figure out will be extremely minimal and we should have resolved in a few days ideally. Will my gang bank go away or anything gang related? - No. What will happen to infamy/honor? - Maintained or refunded. May need to re-enter like talents. However, you'd be comped essentially the amount. This will not be implemented immediately on release. Any other questions just ask.

    RGO grenades on civ actually kill and are easier to throw...
    If we equalize the contents of what you buy on cop, like buying CSATs because rebels certainly do most of the time, cop loadouts are 10k+... (30k loadouts on rebel if you buy a Mk1 and 20 mags, and backpack, and vest, and CSATs, and full Y, and full medical)
    They're just different factions with different tools. I gotta say, this is like those people back in the day saying BLUFOR had more maximum health than other factions. Literally like the whole post is false except the Y dropping. You're just spreading fake news.

    Evening all,
    I wanted to give a slight update to the new mission related stuff. I unfortunately got hit with having to work 3 weeks of 66hrs /ea week at work (Starting this week). This has pushed back my estimated done date pretty hard. I took off two days of work (Jul 14/15) to make a longer week and prevent being forced to do overtime that week. 

    The "Official Release Week" will be the week of July 14 - 20. The date is not set in stone yet. However, that will 99% for sure be the week we release on. This will allow us to get in 2 more staff meetings before releasing and also to finish up related projects required to release such as our new web based admin/moderator controls. As far as progress goes on the mission I'm happy where we're at and confident we can reach the goal set. As long as my house doesn't burn down or something in the meantime. I just want to be sure we have a good release and that we have enough time to do the things we want to get done.
