@Bunni help this man out.

If you can get Bamf to get that abomination we call the "group cap" out of here, we will start accepting people with less experience if we have to face larger numbers. This would allow newer players to get better and learn from those who have experience. Otherwise people have to be self taught or join gangs that have little to no experience in the first place. It is not easy starting out new and fighting against people who have been doing the same shit for years with no one viable to learn from. As it stands right now, the experienced person will always be accepted over the semi experienced person because of the group cap.

Envy is a pretty good example of this and I'm really not trying to knee-pad my dudes. The vast majority of Envys members have been here since pre 6.0. They have little to nothing to learn at this point. That new gang of 10 or 15 people would have to play for months maybe even a year to learn what they need to know about the game. Though if someone would let them in there gang and teach them this would speed up this process allowing the circle of life for new players joining and old players eventually leaving to continue. People wonder why gang life in general and fights are weak, it's because of the lack of experience.

Furthermore I'd like to point out that the group cap is not the soul reason Asylum has lost population but it is definitely a big fucking reason.

If @Paratus @bamf @Gnashes want a group cap on civs, and there already is a group cap on medic. Why is there no group cap on cop? Love seeing 25 cops and 40 civs, makes the game so boring for both. Cops have no bountys to go after and the civs cant do anything illegal because they will almost 100% get caught.

Solution: 14 person cap on cop or no group cap on civ/medic

That's why you get them 1st before they can get you!

Yes I agree with you on all points.  That is why when I led a gang we liked to bring on some new guys every now and then and teach them things.  We ended up bringing in some brand new people and they turned out to become Lt. in APD and Sgts hell I think one guy became a captain.  Anyways I just like what you have to say.  I'm not new btw I just wanted to troll le forums but you wrote something I took seriously so I figured why not reply seriously.

Maybe you aren't new, but do you have the gang experience to get into any of the big gangs right now?

I am currently in temper, unfortunately the way it works right now is that if you don't post some "fire montage" you won't get into most gangs.

Well that is nice that you are in Temper bro.  But do you have experience?  Lol I don't need "fire montage" to get into a gang if I want to get into one.

This actually really needs to be looked into because with dwindling numbers people that are still playing really love the server obviously but a problem I have is when I hop on cop there is no bounties. And like tryhard said it's cuz too many cops and not enough civs and you can't rack up a bounty without getting caught. The players who play cop tend to be more dedicated especially higher ups who are spending their time to do all the extra work for the APD these guys are super dedicated and therefore are very active and with a less active and less serious civilian player-base we are seeing an issue that is further ruining asylum. I remember less than a year ago I had to scroll for days on the wanted list sometimes by the time I found the player I was looking for they had already ran away so I mean there is definitely a noticeable difference.
