I dont think thees anything wrong with it, especially with SWAT being added. Give the cops some time to get into the swing of things with SWAT and I think it will be better.

The only problem I have with the current system is the fact that reporters can choose for you to not see evidence. How can you appeal your ban if you cant see what you did?
