They may have thought buying the server may help get some of their motivation back, because it's now their responsibility and they would be rewarded. Like the kid and marriage shit people try that I referenced, they think having a kid would make things exciting again. Obviously it failed like most kids in those marriages 💀.

it's not always about players. Combine assets, financials/budgetary spend, intellectual property, and general devs/brainpower.
Arma 3 is a dying game. Instead of trying to separate the already sparse player base, just combine it and all it's resources.

If you want my honest opinion, it’s because there’s no competition on asylum and management doesn’t care. Also no idea where all this key money goes to but it’s not development.
asylum has been on the downhill ever since we stopped gang wars and gangs stopped actually fighting each other.
The days stellar, tenacity, envy, temper, and requiem actually fought each other were the best days. Back when people would push for HOURS. Notice all those guys left for other servers except a few..
gangs fighting each other also mean there’s more time for cops to interact with everybody else instead of major spam. Everybody’s happy. Gangs get fights and cops get rp.
Now we have a single gang with all the good players and everyone else sucks. It’s hard for newer players to get to know these guys. I know these guys and they’re great dudes but even when I was in the gang it was boring not having anybody to fight except cops who end up rage quitting. It’s not their fault either.
server management is pushing what they want. Not what the community needs. Not thinking big picture. I’m sure it’s hard to reach these guys too unless your in a hidden channel or compiling 3 months of admins logs to witch hunt and leaving your friends @Innate..

By the time you attain SGT you should have more than enough prestige as hopefully you've been active as CPL prior.
The garage is cheap and there's normally other officers on who can pull the HQ instead. Mobile HQ has been around for a while and the garage prestige price has never been an issue..

Nah it depends on the major. Cops have shields, ladder trucks, bearcats, etc to counter.
Cops have response numbers against civs to not overwhelm and also cops don't get fucked by groups of 15 against 5 cops since there's civ limits too.
Plus there's no robo-copping or pistol bangers.
It's honestly a breath of fresh air after 9k hours on asylum

Ah yes tell me about responsibilities as if you know absolutely anything other than sitting on the forums and shit posting.
The best cure to burn out is a change in position or change in environment. A "break" is only a temporary fix. Obviously them not doing any dev work when Rogue owned the server was their "break" which didn't help buddy.
