As always, please report any bugs you come across.
Update will come into effect once the servers restart.
    Added:
Added Uranium mining and enriching. Check out http://gaming-asylumwiki.com/wiki/Uranium for in depth information. Re-added rebel air drops. Re-added turfs and benefits. Re-added crafting. Re-added spikestrips. Re-added oil gathering (need have a pickaxe and be within 15m of a fuel truck for the action to show). Changed/Tweaked:
Allowed players with max houses to price check houses. Reset vehicle despawn timer when setting up a fuel truck's oil drill and/or when starting to drill. Added a single notification for purchased items from the weapon shop (instead of spamming the chat). Syncing within the area of a cartel will sync you at a random position outside the cartel. Abuse will be punished. Allowed cops to pull out helicopters at civilian air shops. Fixed:
Fixed being able to store gold bars in helicopters. Fixed exploit with medical marijuana. Fixed endless elevated security at Federal Reserve. Fixed jailtime not syncing. Fixed certain vehicles not being able to be pulled from Shed garages. Fixed scopes not being able to be bought for the Promet and AK-12. Fixed an instance where a restrained player could not be interacted with after being escorted. Fixed mining to give the correct amount. Fixed APD lethals not being toggle-able without a primary weapon. Fixed persistent vehicles not clearing vehicle ammo on server restart. Fixed revive animation making you stand up for other people. Fixed color of arrested players not being grey on the wanted list. Fixed dropping items while in a boat. Fixed the ability for multiple people to revive one person. Fixed the ability to use misc controls while dead. Fixed item pick-up exploit. Fixed gang house remaining as gang house after disbanding a gang.

After reading @Luciens recent suggestion for a new money making I figured we could definitely do better (Sorry). With the recent release of v2 and the Arma 3 Contact content, I don’t think there is a better time than now to suggest this idea I’ve had for a while now.
Background: A substantial amount of uranium was found underground in Altis. One (or several) mines have been opened up. They are located in remote areas due to the strong radioactivity. Miners may be searched by the APD at any time while in the 300m radius at either the mine or refinery to check for the proper licensing.
How it works: Only players with the proper equipment (hazmat suit and/or gas mask) may enter the mine without being harmed by the radioactivity. In order to mine, a player will need the clothing listed above and a pickaxe. Uranium can be collected in the player’s Y-Inventory and stored in any vehicle. The raw uranium can be taken to the uranium refinery where it can be turned into processed uranium (license required). The processed uranium can be sold at the commodities trader for a fair price.
    Final Notes:
    1. This is only a suggestion and things can be changed so don't flame me.
    2. I don’t know if half this stuff is even possible.
    3. I see how the clothing requirement could be voided as most do not have the DLC and will have watermarks when they have it on.
    4. Can be illegal/legal. Either could be argued

Not calling anyone here out, but yet here you are? A public post doesn't do a whole lot. But I've attached a gif to help you learn the way to really ask me what's going on and get answers to most of your questions about the politics.
    take care

  12. Tarro liked a post in a topic by Mayhem in this server is hurting because of lack of things to do
I really don’t get it. Everyone kept complaining for them to release v2. So then they finally do and the performance has been fantastic. Now people are complaining that “there’s nothing to do” yes a few things were removed but are most likely being optimized to make them better. There’s still plenty to do.
would you rather play v1 where your in the middle of stuff and server just goes down, or on v2 where you can do anything you want and not have to worry about server crashing

So I'm sort of an aficionado of police sirens and I've been missing Asylum's multiple siren sounds. However, I also think it's about time we had new police sirens (we've had the same for years now). Because of that, I've compiled a few siren sounds and mixed some samples with Audacity. I also added the old sirens at the end of the video - which I also like a lot.
Nothing too complex or extraordinary, but here's the result:

Couldn’t agree more. Was surprised a second bridge was added. The prison (v1 version) was difficult for cops but that's how it should be. Actually forced us sgts to pull armor even though my bank account did not approve.
