A lot of people are complaining about their earplugs not working properly.
- Earplugs were changed to Custom Controls -> Use Action 12
- Make sure you only have your earplugs bound to Use Action 12 only. If you have it bound to both 10 and 12, you'll have issues with your earplugs.
Hope this helps.
Off topic slightly as well, some custom controls may have changed in V2. Here is an updated list found in game.

2 slugs to a ghost hawks engine mid flight took it out, I was able to 1 tap @Samperino out of his strider from the side/back window with a slug
Yeah. I was casually flying my ghost hawk over Pyrgos as well and my back rotor would randomly just get deleted.

There should be a system where you get a set max amount of points for each offense
There is. If you read the APD Guidebook (Internal Affairs) the maximum points allowed to be given are outlined.
On 7/30/2019 at 8:38 PM, Batcan said:That way people that do not like you do not give you multiple points in order to increase the chances of removal.
If you don't get in trouble, you don't have to worry about someone not liking you giving you disciplinary action in the first place. At this point with V2, I'm more in favour of outright removing bad apples. The APD has become far too lax with disciplinary.

If you are ordered by a higher up to leave to go to another area to patrol and you do not want to go to another city to patrol, log off or get disciplinary action. If there are too many officers in an area and officers need to be dispersed, the higher ups' duties are to disperse the officers if they feel necessary.
On 7/30/2019 at 8:38 PM, Batcan said:Add an anonymous statistic on the amount of points given and what for. This improves clarity between the civilian and police factions.
- Too much work for too little benefit
- This accomplishes nothing
- This could potentially subconsciously make officers provide more disciplinary when unnecessary
- Very hard to trackOn 7/30/2019 at 8:38 PM, Batcan said:More detail needed from IA's. Action taken tells whoever reported an officer almost nothing.
I'm going to put this quite frankly, but action taken on your report on an officer is none of your business. I'm not going to have people running around knowing how many points a Lieutenant Joe Blow gave to a certain officer so you harass the officer about the points "you" gave him just so you can feel better about yourself.
On 7/30/2019 at 8:38 PM, Batcan said:The only straight to jail charges should be harassment , impersonating an officer, and escaping jail. Increases role-play and prevents cops from prioritizing money over role-play.
We can go in circles about what charges or how many charges should be straight to jail. I think it's fine the way it is.

They aren't required to know the current guidebook and when they fuck up play the captain card. There are some good retired captains out there, but the ones that fuck up should be demoted a rank. Creates too many problems, plain and simple.
Captain card doesn't exist for Retired Captains. In general, anyone with the Captain rank in-game (retired Captains and active Captains) are able to go around the guidebook as needed. They are not allowed to abuse this privilege. Any abuse of this privilege can be reported using the Internal Affairs section of support.
On 7/30/2019 at 8:38 PM, Batcan said:when a deal has been made between the civilian and officer, it is not to be gone back on.
So the cops can just choose to not make a deal and break in anyways. What usually happens with kidnapping situations is that the civilians request an outrageous ransom for the officer and when the officers decline to give 50 black MXMs to the civilian and start procedures to get the officer back, the civilian cries "wtf where's the RP???" No plans to add or change kidnapping policies.
On 7/30/2019 at 8:38 PM, Batcan said:Clear lines need to be drawn so that everyone knows when they are being crossed. The only way change is going to happen within the APD is with transparency. Like the issue with the retired captains, it's hard to report someone for breaking the guidebook when their role allows them to do it. This is not directed towards any specific captain, but a general statement.
Clear lines are drawn - I suggest reading through the APD guidebook when you have a chance.

Absolutely not. The cop channels are reserved for officers who are on duty. If you open up cop channels for people who "aren't on cop but aren't on civ" it starts to become a casual hangout area. There are plenty of channels in TeamSpeak if you wish to hang out with your buddies.

What would those money sinks do to those who are broke with 4k in their bank and 1 car in their garage?
Money sinks are typically cosmetic and not required to progress. Think in-game purchasable skins. It would do nothing to these players. These players typically don't use the 4k in their bank and 1 car in their garage to gamble away anyways. If they do, though, then it's a good thing they're gambling their in-game life away and not their IRL (hopefully).

Do it pussy. No balls.
I would rather see more money sinks than anything. Right now there are people sitting on millions and millions of dollars, and they don't really spend it on anything, they just hoard it. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I feel like the "then people would feel the need to grind again" problem can potentially be solved with money sinks (e.g.: gambling, loot crates purchasable with in-game money, etc.).

by your logic if im a cop i can restrain and search anyone even hours after i originally processed them. thanks for the info. ill be sure to use it in the most roleplayiest of ways.
You have to be a cop to be able to do so.

No, you just pretend that you know the outcome, and then whine when you don't get what you want.

Cool story. Where's the report? Obviously it didn't matter to the person if there was no report made.
I'm trying my best here, but you're not giving me much to work with unfortunately.

Report it and find out. All I can say.

Or you could make a useless post like this saying that any effort given by civs in processing should be rewarded*
*Except if a higher up is processing because the civ probably called them mean names 2 days ago
I understand how you might portray this post as such, but no. If you act like a cunt, you'll be treated like one, regardless of rank. If you're not acting like a cunt, or perhaps you did yesterday but aren't today, and the officers are showing bias in regards to what happened yesterday, report it. Make sure to show the whole situation and not 5 seconds of one sided footage. Like I said in my post:

Just now, Rodrigo said:Are you actually trying to pretend this has not happend?
I would also like to point out, me "pretending this has not happened" does not change the fact that it needs to be reported.

Actionable offences, which you already know as you have already reported these.
