While Dom on S1 appears to be the most reasonable compromise, unless you manage to remake the entirety of Utes onto warzone island while also managing FPS and limiting ifrit ratting, I don't see a satifying compromise.

I kind of do know what I'm talking about. Anyone who is actually good at this game would agree that if they got a roster of 12 people they know are shooters, they would definitely take this event on.
Not to point out the obvious, but you had many nonshooters in your group.
TLDR of this entire thread: The Ghawk being pulled wasn't warranted, the group cap was implemented to promote fighting and fighting 18 cops wasn't taken into consideration, and your group was too shit to win this event and is now crying.

I'm not going to lie he is kind of right.
I have never had a problem killing any Chinese players. The only times where their ping has benefitted them (in my experience, which is a lot) is dropping out of ifrits/while driving.
Only in instances where people normally lag (tower lag, ifrit dropping, driving, etc.) do I see the 'ping advantage'.
Occasionally they 'shotgun' but never have I not been able to kill a Chinese player because of their ping.
People swear up and down that they are not able to hit their shots on Chinese players because they're skidding all over the place but I have PERSONALLY never had that happen out of the ordinary. Maybe there is a difference in my setup compared to other people, and for reference I live on the East Coast.

That's good to know and all, but we don't need that kind of behavior from a developer in a decent suggestion post. Make your banter more clear, instead of deterring the communities efforts to contribute to the server.
