Month and a half Wipe Reflection

Busy Doing what? Also there are like 15 admins, most of which we never hear from. Maybe they should be replaced instead of creating new roles

With little to no communication since wipe, it has gotten stale real fast. We went "back in time" with removing so many things with the wipe, but did not shake up the map/server in a way that would retain players.  A few of the changes that came with wipe were nice QoL things but all in all, Asylum is still feels the exact same it did years ago and likely doesn't feel 'fresh' anymore to anyone with a few hundred hours much less thousands on Asylum.

Re-adding Shipping/Evidence lockup is/was nice, but I also wonder: Are the plans moving forward to just re-add the things we had pre-wipe? And if so, then there was no real point to wiping.

I remember mentioning it months ago when you had the test weekend for wipe and stating in the community get-together, I felt like a reshuffle of the map would have been a good idea, and I still stand by that even now post-wipe.  Asylum may have wiped, but nothing has really stood out to me since the first week once I had a little bit of money/houses.

Bag was fumbled in every way possible.

The people on my friends list who came back to give Asylum a shot either just stopped playing again or migrated to other life servers.

Unfortunately, I think that month after the wipe was the most important, and now it's gone, population isn't going to see a large rise again.

I'd say Rogue's best move forward from here would be looking to sell what remains to Olympus so that traffic is consolidated and we can ride out what's left of Altis life on a somewhat populated server.

Staff should have been "overhauled" and made more of an effort to engage with the player base. Should have been an open forum for changes to be made post wipe or possibly taken from Oly success and added that to Asylum. Bag fumbled. RIP ASYLUM, hopefully we make it to Christmas.

I came back to see the server was wiped.  I have been here since before the original wipe like 8 years ago.

Well, this was the last straw for me.  Im not regrinding.  Oh hell naw.

such a shame that its gone this way cant really expect much from the 3 maggots in charge. community is legit at breaking point and they make some dumbass forum post congratulating the 12 or so retards that are still giving them hope in their retarded little minds. wipe would've worked if you actually added stuff instead of shitting yourselves at backlash from like 10 people. we where supposed to be a community but unfortunately that hasn't been the case for  a long time. time to press the kill switch fellas and call it a day

at this point, make kavala rdm/cl free zone for ppl to log on get drunk and fsu....if they get downed and cl, body bag gg ...

admins literally killed asylum over the years. ppl get banned for pussy shit like saying someone can light me up in a car and i cant swurve into them and drive off to value my time/life? change that. so we can run ppl over  once to get away. if they keep doing running you over and over that can result in a 2 hour ban. not 2 days

your admins killed asylum. you had active players in small gangs and you literally destroyed all of them due to childish emotion. you never deserved admin the first place. and thats exactly what went wrong. banning people for things that had no effect on anything.

imo, mass unban unless they script or go god mode like china .

bring back dirty money cuz cartel money straight to bank kills economy.

money is supposed to be harder to make, not cap a cartel log off and get millions.

dirty money kept ppl doing runs which is interaction/rp. 

adding a second meth lab or black market near cartels. not a green zone to spam cartels and die 500 times/hour then just expecting ppl to buy more gold. 

requiring 5 gang members to be online for cartel money to enter the account if u dont add dirty money in fridges can help promote gang life cuz youll recruit 20 ppl so you have 5 on often. 

if money is harder to make, youll see more runs. new players are fucked doing any run and cant get ahead cuz ur cops are heavily op and dont require shit for loadouts. rubber bullets are op and cops dont deserve ifrits wtf is up w/ that? choose a side and nerf cops so they use tactics not pray and spray cuz they suck at aiming. 

 

yall literally saw what ppl enjoyed doing in the server and intentionally killed it, strip it away and think thats making it better.

after all these years open your eyes youre doing it WRONG.

then you wipe server and dont even wipe the houses lol

making a sheds base price 750k/1mil so ppl do alot of runs...not have 5 ppl toss 1 guy 25k so he can buy it rq. 

yall need to do something and add another black market near cartels so ppl can fill houses up all down in that area north of cartels, east of neochori where theres like 5 towns and a ton of houses with zero use.

this will give ppl a completely different way to play the game > going to a green zone and spamming cartels is stupid an literally promotes the buying and selling of gold.

adding stuff olympus has as quest rewards or achievements to motivate ppl > a money reward
