What I said was true. At that fed I handed out MKs to all of the cops that were on and I pulled out an ifrit for each of them. What I did is very rare. I haven't handed out an MK since the day before this post was made. I have also played with the other Captains and they are not handing out MKs everytime they log on. In most cases when they decide to do so it's to one of the officers they are playing with. When a federal event starts more cops get MKs using SWAT then any of the Captains handing them out. There are only 6 or so players that play each month that have a Captain whitelist. Most of the retired Captains we have hardly play. The ability to give other officers MKs is very limited. In my last response I never said that you wouldn't see ifrits at the fed ever again. I was trying to explain that one player giving out that much gear is rare. Whitelisted LTs that are not staff will not pull out that many ifrits in one fight. Even for cops ifrits are way too expensive to do that. A few days ago I talked to a couple of your gang buddies in teamspeak. We talked over a couple policies that the APD could experiment with. One of the Captains was there and I said if the Captains wanted to try them out and see how it goes I'm all for it.

Man lets not bullshit here, you don't know the true frequency that this is happening other than when you do it yourself which is all you can attest to and I don't blame you for that. Obviously you can't be on all the time and know every instance but it is a lot more than 1-2 times per month which is a laughable estimate at best. Last time I checked cadets were not running around with MK-1s and referred to as "SWAT." This is a problem though I don't think you understand, the Captains will make their OWN DECISIONS about what they want to do and that will be the end of the story. This so called "feedback from civs" you guys receive means nothing in the grand scheme of things, you can suggest things to them as the community manager based on player experiences but at the end of the day the decision up to like 3-4 people who think everything is fine and people are just complaining.

Bottom line, currently fighting cops is not fun/rewarding by any means. And like I said the amount of people doing these events will continue to decrease, nobody will care about all these events that the developers have made for extensive civ vs. cop interaction which is sad honestly. I'm sure all the career cops gonna flock to this post and tell me it is a "skill issue" and that people "are much better than they were in 2016" which is why federal events are going the way they are. If the higher ups in charge of the APD were happy with the resources they've established themselves with, why would they make changes to limit themselves in any way? The APD is a self-governed faction that has practically full control over what they add/remove from their abilities regardless of the input from the "community," imagine that. I'm done talking about this topic because I genuinely don't care what happens to this issue or the server for that matter because neither do the people in charge of it.

  2. No one cares about this topic anymore, it ain't changing @kryptonthegamer.  Mass Ifrit pulling and MK1 dropping is happening way more often than 1-2 times per month, the frequency is much more than that and it will continue to happen. It's happened at 2-3 events in less than a week...

I don't think ifrits should be removed. There are situations where they are needed. If there is a concern with APD pulling to many ifrits for a single fed event I would rather see policy added to balance it. Ifrits were added for LT+ to help the APD win some of the fights and boost morale. Even with ifrits the APD still loses plenty of fights. If you made this post because of the fed you did last night I will take full responsibility for the APDs actions. When your gang played on our server years back you guys would obliterate the cops in the majority of the fights. When the fed went off last night and I saw all your names pop up I figured the same would happen. I gave MKs to the 7 or 8 officers that were online at the time. I also pulled out more ifrits than I normally would. If I jumped the gun and ruined the experience for you guys I apologize. I try to explain to people that when I upgrade the APDs gear it's a sign of respect. I do it because I know you guys are really good Arma players. I also do it to keep the cops from rage quiting when we are in a hopeless fight. Going forward, If I decide to upgrade the APDs gear I will wait and do it after one or two pushes. Just know, the fed you guys fought last night was not normal. I would love for you guys to stick around and try a few more. You will see the dynamic between the fights with and without higher ups. Only Captains can pass out MKs and only LT+ can pull ifrits. We do not have a large number of whitelisted LTs so ifrits are limited.

Captains giving out Mks to every officer online is rare. It happens to boost morale and keep cops online. Some gangs are really good and sometimes they spam feds all day. A Captain handing out an MK to one officer is what happens most of the time. In my opinion that won't make or break a fight.

You nailed the first part. If I were to hand out MKs for a 5 rebel vs 13 cop fight it's because the rebels are insanely good. We have all seen that numbers do not dictate who wins a fight. There has been plenty of fights over the years where the cops doubled the rebel numbers and still lose. That being said, I do feel we have a good track record when dealing with new rebel players. We don't drop MKs just because a bank starts. We do it when we know who we are fighting. If it's a group that is really good or they have been killing cops all day then we might pass out some MKs.

To discuss this, if you don't think handing out downing MK-1s to multiple officers who wouldn't otherwise have them doesn't give you a significant advantage I really don't know what to say. Pretty sure with the current script you have to shoot someone below 75% HP to down them with an MK-1 which is 1-2 shots, in contrast obviously rebels have to kill you (-100%). Adding changes to the APD policy to govern the use of these kinds of things would be appropriate but instead, you are planning on having everyone, including yourself, arbitrarily decide how many Ifrits and MK1s you need to drop. Sounds like a great system 👍

"Just know, the fed you guys fought last night was not normal. I would love for you guys to stick around and try a few more. "

This is an ironic quote because this entire thing has become the new normal. Gangs willing to do these events will continue to decrease. At least you'll still be able to do feds with your gang, probably will be the only gang doing them for the future! @DarkKnight

I play more civ than cop and win events on civ 80% of the time with even numbers or even sometimes less. I hate to say it but sometimes it’s a skill issue and it’s okay for the APD to win. It’s not unbalanced and I’m trying to make a post to make it more balanced for the lower groups but ur too focused on just complaining instead of reading what I posted

Bring your shit gang to a fight a cartel and we'll see the skill differential.

  4. @Chris Peacock @zdeat It will always be the same people defending the APD and any increase in power they make. What happens when none of the civilian gangs want anything to do with these events? What ever will you guys do? Servers make changes and it will always have an effect on the population, if a "team" of higher ups/admins/community managers doesn't seriously consider the majority of a community's opinion on anything in the server then population will be adversely affected. We have seen the changes Asylum has made in the past 1-1.5 years and I think we all know things haven't been for the better. We can all live in fantasy until everything is all said and done.

Frustrations with imbalances like these and the overall state of the community management will grow and the population will continue to dissolve like it has been. @Roice& @skimancolesummed a lot of it up in previous posts in other threads. At this point, I don't give a shit what happens 🤷‍♂️

Come apply and ill give you a frit and you can see for yourself.

Not applying to that dogshit, wouldn't waste a keystroke doing that. I've driven plenty of Ifrits over the last 8-9 years and I promise you, if we pushed a fed as the APD you would never make it out.

  6. Surely 1 Ifrit per higher up PER LIFE has absolutely nothing to do with why civ groups are losing feds to cops. I'd love to set up an NMD with us as cops versus yall with in the position of the civ. I already know what the outcome would be but just to prove a point. How hard it is to pull into the fed with 3 Ifrits and triple drop + smoke a tower, bum rush up and take the entire section of the fed that tower is governed by? (ITS NOT AT ALL) Not to mention you have vans drop on the other side of the wall and every mass jumps over to aid in the cop frit drop and there is 2-3 jump spots in the fed. Not to mention east gate tower has been removed and can literally be rammed through with multiple police Ifrits to gain entry relatively easily compared to all the other entrances.

Guess I have to just GRIND MONEY for RPGs!!! Spend 200k to destroy your 80k cop frit even when there is 6 more of them on the way. This makes a ton of sense. If all of the people who influence the change on APD policy are all mostly career cops and there is no communal influence on the balance of cops vs. civs, how will you ever know the effect of the policy? @Fried Riceand @DarkKnighttalk about when they do feds and it is successful but that's is probably because them and all the other higher ups in their gang aren't mass pulling frits and pushing them.

At this point, I understand who the people are making the changes and nothing is gonna change due to the massive conflict of interest. It's like a government body making all the rules for themselves. Honestly the whole thing is a joke and eventually it will just be the career cops that switch to civ to do events like this because they are pointless in the current state. The Federal Reserve can be a map decoration until the career cops switch to civ and get bored.

Yeah bro civs pull frits for bank all the time. I swear u don’t even play the server with this reply. A geared cop kit is the same price as a rebel one and the frits are slightly cheaper because they get destroyed way more often. The risk is the exact same

I saw I got @‘d a few times, and I’ll read the individual stuff later.

The reason they’re lower chopping price is that cop ifrits are A) cheaper (our ifrits are 70-80k?) and B ) all cop vehicles are cheaper due to the frequency we lose it. Not saying I’m in agreement with why it’s the way it is, just giving our info.

"70-80k" vs 120k sounds a little off to me buddy but if you're doing the math some other way or something. 🤷‍♂️ Guess I gotta play the server 40 hours a week to "actually play the server" like you guys. I'll definitely work on that and slave away doing runs for my reasonably priced loadouts in the perfectly balanced economy.

Its not, Civs have every advantage at any federal event besides evidence and nikolis. Yall sit in deerstands and hold down right click until you see someone then quick peek them out of whatever vehicle they are pushing in. Please let me know how to push a fed in a hatchback / qilin without getting shot out because if i can figure out how to do that then by all means ill do that every event.

I think yall stellar boys are just so used to 2015 when everyone sucked and could push in a hunter and drop on people and MAYBE get a down. I do that in a frit and still get killed. We pull 3-4 of them because were not able to get close without getting ripped by some dude holding right click on 2nd floor of any fed.

I have more hours on civ in 1 week than you do in 3 months... so try again?

Push the fed in a hunter and match how many Ifrits the rebels have it's simple, you don't need to pull an Ifrit every time you die to get to a federal event. Shit is goofy as hell, I feel like I am playing an NMD and paying way more for more gear/vehicles with so much more penalty as a civilian. Not to mention you are infinitely spawning with you gear and coming back as much as you'd like in your Ifrits. I know you think you know something as a "moderator" but I have been apart of this community for a lot longer than you man lets not talk about the last 3 months of playtime LMAO its 2024. I get on to shoot people and get off that's about it. Stellar wasn't around in 2015 neither were you so let's not talk about that either pal, you can't close to a fed in an Ifrit either? Shit mine as well add APD jets so you can get air support then if thats the case.

  9. Yeah no reason to up the price sure, just have y'all pull 3-4 of them every fight and they are worth nothing with virtually no risk at all to police for pulling them. No limit on how many yall can pull, cheaper than civ Ifrits, and just a fun time for everyone! I have an even better idea, lets let all the career cops continue to gaslight everyone into thinking CIV vs. COP is perfectly balanced and then eventually.... the server will just be a big sit-around conversation in Athira with all of the 20-30 people that still play. I'm honestly down for that at this point because it seems the community is ran by people like you idiots, haven't been on civ doing something eventful in god knows how long. @zdeat  @Silver-Spy

And here comes the "just do a drug run" suggestion again from a career cop staff member. Let me spend a couple of hours to make 250-300k to lose it all with 3-4 loadouts and 1 Ifrit. You wouldn't know because you are arresting RDMers in Athira for your money to mass pull cop Ifrits. Great balance we have here, happy to see what the future brings! @Batcan @DarkKnight

The controlled media hasn't been a help at all either. They encouraged you go to out in protest all June and stopped talking all things Corona and the BLM stuff didn't work to cause a civil war so now they are super spreading wave 2 of this.

Bill De Blasio who is the Democratic Mayor of New York City threatened to arrest anyone who went to Church or funerals, but he supported this?

I just wanted to educate you a little Tom, in New York they are shoveling bodies by the thousand into the ground of Hart Island. When someone is diagnosed with COVID-19 and admitted to a hospital, if they die while having the disease they are presumed to have died from the havoc of the pathogen on every organ in the body (mainly the lungs). Sure if your lungs are destroyed by the pathogen you will no longer be able to breathe causing you to pass (this would be counted as a COVID-19 death). The disease causes complications that ultimately lead to death. The data we all see is actually delayed by a week, only 63% percent of all U.S. deaths are reported within 10 days of the date of death, death counts are actually going to be a lot larger than what they are right now in the United States. The reason you see changes in provisional death counts and current death counts are laboratory results from the death that constituted a condition that was much more morbid than COVID-19 although that individual had the virus.

On another note, Mayor Bill De Blasio supports the 1st amendment right to peacefully assemble in the act of an injustice or just to pursue change. All Americans have the right to protest as well as own firearms (2nd amendment). He doesn't want people to go to churches or funerals because that is a service in society that can cause mass spread to individuals in the "risk-pool" which will lead to mass deaths. He can close these institutions deeming them a risk to the public but there is no way the mayor would be constitutionally able to clear peaceful protesters from this area in this video. It all comes back to rights, we all have them despite the pandemic and you can choose to exercise them in any way, that is the freedom of living in the United States of America.

I don't get why admins or anyone that has anything to do with development can buy houses near unreleased locations to gain an advantage above other players. @Roice bought 2 40k's within walking distance of the new Arms Rebel. I understand that thats where you wanted to put the rebel and thats your decision but I just wish you guys would realize how unfair that is.
