    Added to Initiation(for clarification as many new players were asking about this):

    • Sirens may be used by APD Officers to initiate but the officer MUST ensure players are within audible distance of the siren. This is done at the risk and discretion of the APD Officer as they are initiating on everyone within audible distance.

    The server is clearly desperate for population so why hold back grudges on things you don't think people will like.

    It's as simple as this add a bunch of stuff you think people will like if majority does not like press the delete key.

    If you provide actual content suggestions I will look into it and bring it to the devs. The issue is just that though, content suggestions. Everyone, including me, screams NEW CONTENT...yet we don't provide the devs with content to develop. If the community has actual content ideas we can get the ball rolling on them. That being said, making a ton of new custom skins wont be the new content.

    We can look into the following:

    1) Releasing more in game Arma clothing (not skins) for purchase

    2) Revamping "Menace to Society" @Louie@Vista@Zurph@bbgreg17

    3) Working with faction groups to get input for community content (we need this as the devs cannot and will not be responsible for dreaming up new content ideas)

    4) Releasing (I make no promises here) more weapons and attachments for purchase/crafting

    5) Either increasing explosive damage done for explosives or decreasing price

  4. SECTION F GUIDANCE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

    Section F's are for both extreme circumstances when the APD staff have lost confidence in a CPT, and for when a CPT’s performance is no longer sufficient in the eyes of the APD staff.

    Lieutenants/Sergeants shall attempt to bring any issues they may have to the Captain in question before moving forward with a Section F.

    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

    To Start Section F proceedings:

    1. A minimum of 50% of Lt/Sgts must be willing to sign a petition outlining their grievances with the Captain. (This initial petition will be anonymous)

    2. That petition will be delivered to the Senior Admins.

    3. A mandatory meeting will be conducted by the Senior Admins with all active Lieutenants/Sergeants and the Captain in question to discuss the grievances.

    Stipulations

    As a Lieutenant/Sergeant you must be present at the meeting to have your voice and vote counted.

    Section F Meeting Procedures:

    1. All parties should be given a chance to air their grievances and explain their side fully.

      1. The vote against the current CPT will be totaled as follows

        1. Lieutenant vote will count as 1

        2. Sergeant vote will count as 0.5

        3. In order for a Section F to pass a supermajority of 66% or higher of the Lieutenants/Sergeants must vote to remove the Captain, with SA approval.

    2. Should the Section F fail, another cannot be brought against the same captain for 30 days.

    3. Should the Section F pass. 

      1. The Captain will be reassigned to either Retired LT or Retired CPT at the discretion of the Lts/Sgts with SA approval

        1. General guidelines

          1. CPTs who have done something egregious are placed to Retired LT

          2. CPTs who served <6 months and their performance is no longer sufficient are placed to Retired Lt

          3. CPTs who served >6 months and their performance is no longer sufficient may be placed to Retired CPT.

      2. All active Lieutenants and Sergeants will then immediately vote for the next Captain. The vote for the next CPT will be totaled as follows:

        1. Lieutenant vote will count as 1.0 point

        2. Sergeant vote will count as 0.5 point

        3. >50% is required to send the vote to Senior Admins for final approval

        4. If <50% vote for a single candidate the selection process will default back to the remaining 2 Captains and Senior Admins.

  5. The Admin team will be hosting a community meeting:

    Friday August 19th at 2000 EST

    We understand that this doesn't work for all schedules. Come if you can. Bring questions and complaints.

    -go down to 4 houses

    -remove/lesser money/make harder passive money (cartels/separate processing stations)

    -CPT demotion regulations written in wiki (only 1 demotion)

    -explosives price/damage ratio

    -SRT policies implemented to DOM

    -Dom payout/points slight buff and potentially less days played

    -Gang fort (Increase group size to X/Make it so you can own turfs and the gang fort?/Increase no spawn radius to flag to 3.0km)

    -Die in house (cannot spawn there for X mins)

    -SGT drill door of player house (90 seconds with animation)

    -prestige > cop blood money? something to keep the grind (steep exchange rate)

    Provide a new design and submit it. One that doesn't take up a ton of space in the mission file. If it is decent, it can be implemented. The old one probably isn't coming back.

  7. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

    Captains (Active or Retired) additional guidebook abilities:

    • Pass out weapons/equipment (excluding bipods and msxws) to any online player regardless of rank or faction

      • If the individual is an APD Officer, he/she must drop and seize the item(s) when the Captain leaves the server

    • Allow a civilian to keep contraband

    • Perform Cartel/Rebel Raids

      • All officers participating must execute the raid at the same time, including the Captain

      • Only 1 life per raid (unless revived) per officer

      • Raids may only be conducted every 30 minutes per individual location by the Captain

    • Captains may test new policies prior to implementation

      • The policy must have been presented to the Senior Admins for review and approval prior to testing in-game.

    • Retired Captains are no longer allowed to post on applications

     

    To improve understanding and transparency within the community, these abilities are now written down and will be added to the guidebook. That being said, Captains MUST behave reasonably as they are the head of the APD. If you feel you have been wronged, in any form in or out of game, by an APD Captain, please submit a Captain Report via Internal Affairs. The Captain reports, active or retired, will now be handled directly by the Senior Admins.

  8. Adding clarification to the Helicopters section in Misc. Rules due to recent confusion:

     

    Previously stated:

    Helicopters

    Impeding the flight path of a helicopter with your own helicopter is not allowed.

                 IE: You hover over a helicopter as it is taking off, it rises up and hits you, you are responsible for the VDM. 

    Warning shots are allowed against helicopters that are attempting to land or hover near your position.

    If the helicopter does not leave the area after multiple warning shots, you may attempt to disable the helicopter.

    Enabling the advanced flight model to take off will be considered exploiting. Commonly referred to as "Quick Spooling". We are not banning the use of advanced flight model, just enabling it to take off to avoid situations.

     

    Clarification:

    Players may use the advanced flight model on Asylum Servers. However, players risk being banned while using the advanced flight model when they use it to INTENTIONALLY avoid RP/initiation situations when spooling up to take off. If a player has the advanced flight model enabled, he/she must give sufficient time (equal to that of a normal flight model) for a player to RP/initiate while spooling up to take off. If a player doesn't allow sufficient time while using the advanced flight model they will receive a ban due to "Quick Spooling" as an exploit. If a player attempting to spool up and take off cannot see you attempting to RP/initiate (left open to discretion by the Admin team) they are not going to receive a ban because you were hiding in the house next to the helicopter or 400m away as it took off and happened to see it.

     

    Now stated:
