I agree with rando. I also think lower end drugs like lsd and pcp are worthless unless you allow them all to be purified at the process sited and removen puri factory.

 

I also think heroin should have a third process into fentanyl for more $$$$ at H pro

Skills

 

skills tab and it works like so (numbers are all up to change just a basic idea)

You can level up maybe up to 25x processing and gathering skills, for those dedicated to the grind still

For example

You pick weed,

Lvl 1 - 9  2% increased speed each level

lvl 10 25% chance to get double gather

Lvl 11- 19 2% gather speed

lvl 20- 50% chance to get double

21-24 3% speed

lvl 25 - 100% chance for double gather

 

so it works out at like 50% gather speed at max level ( i know the numbers are off but for consistency i simplified it)

Processing

Lvl 1 - 9 % increased speed

Lvl 10- 5% chance of double or sale price

Lvl 11- 19 2% gather speed

Lvl 20 10% chance of double or sale price (undecided)

21-24 3% speed

Lvl 25 -  25% chance of double

The skills would take a lot of doing such an activity to level up so the higher level the more XP it would take to get said skill making those people who want to put in effort to get better in a skill get a benefit, As it would give people more of an incentive to want to go out and do the things as you're getting rewarded for playing the game which has an incentive for people to play more.

MAKE IT WORKSHOP MODS ONLY

asylum’s Aussie life worked well because all the mods were from the steam workshop. Literally they auto downloaded on their own from the launcher, very seamless, very easy for new players to join.

Allow us to blood bag in cars if we're in the passenger seat

Max of 2 Ghost hawks per event, if we blow them up they can't come back.

Get 33% of the bounty money if you lethal and remove the bounty so degen's like @Pinheaddon't log off in prison to keep their bounty.

Limit the amount of admins in 1 gang/don't abuse your position.

Stop perm banning people, if they're cheating perm ban whatever, mass RDM, ban, doing things that are just ruin other peoples fun whatever but if they have 100's of hours on the server and have been around for years, you have to unban them, this game isn't 100k players weekly its dead but we keep it alive because we enjoy playing with friends but they're banned.

Change how you repack mags, that shit is aids.

Mini gun boats are cancer.

Bring back parole.

decrease the ping cap.

Make log in bonuses.

Do more giveaways but not as crazy as last time.

Make houses more available.

No spike strips from cars.

buff the benefits of using drugs, speed boost, health regen, gathering speed, decrease on defib time/boost rev time if on cocaine.

Just do something... I'm sorry but people who just want to fight don't care about the prestige token, the 6.5mm suppressor and all of that bullshit.

This community thought is over. Everyone quit because you don't ask for what the community wants till AFTER you change it. Server will not bounce back unless real change starts within the admin circle. Adding copy and pasted useless feds is not going to help anything. Copy and pasting different drugs will only work till the grinding becomes the same exact process as before. Real genuine content is what is needed. Not half ass copy and pasted shit that doesn't work.

 

Hosting community events that aren't just a gun game. When @Fitzhosted the event in salts flats that was like a 10v10. That was actually what the community wants. 

 

Buffing the cash will help a lot, no one wants to grind on an arma 3 server for cash. (Not saying making it unlimited money off the rip) but allowing people to purchase items easier. New people have to get killed over and over and over in hopes to continue playing to make it to the top. Retention rate of new players seem to be extremely low. Battle metrics show a low amount of new people even joining.

 

Bans should be more easy going, the current ban system is stupid. (Only has been reviewed since everyone decided to stop playing)

 

Starting simple will help the server tremendously. Stop putting effort and energy in the stupid shit.

Start simple do a x3 sale price to all items people don't want to grind on a game that came out in 2013 anymore - and this can be reverted back in arma 4 we just need to make it there

buff all fed payouts from both sides and cartels as feds are supose to be the end game content with cartels

Make make legal money making protected for a little while as the current new player thing doesn't last long enough before they are fucked upon

make car insurace something simple like you pay 5k if the car is destroyed or choped it goes back into your garrage and you need to buy the insurance again

remove the processor upgarade and make all cars and trucks have it by defult as it currently only hurts the new people as the people with all the money aint going to make more money so don't need it

Have a test server where you invite like 20 members off the community to come and try the patch a week before the drop to make sure there isn't a lot of balance issues

or maybe a road map off ideas you want to put in that the whole community can see

 

After all this a big thank you to @Fitz for putting in the effort he has, As without it we would be back to the lul off months and months without a single update

you must have some thick skin after putting in all the effort and people complaining about the work you do for free

ripping people isn’t the issue, it’s when we peek to rip we get tapped because you have people sniping 500m out from the bank every bank. You push in individual frits too.  So if we rip one another two are right behind it whilst we’re reloading?

About the admins, kinda retarded idea but they have nothing to lose, they have infinite money, infinite cars, load outs,  broken houses, nothing to gain and nothing to lose for them but that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t play together or fight cartels and shit I just means sometimes in specific instances they do things to fuck over people in the community to win… not mentioning names or situations but if you know you know.

Personally I had to grind for all of my houses before I got admin which legitimately took years for me to acquire right up until just before my mod period. Yes we do have infinite money due to the amount of time we have to dedicate to the backend server issues and having to balance that with our lives. With this comes a huge responsibility of using the money wisely and we as admins are held highly accountable for our spending. There have been instances where admins have gone overboard and out senior admins have gone and talked to these admins. We are not just let loose, every admin's actions are heavily monitored.

I am sorry that you feel this way, but if you truly feel that an admin is abusing their abilities then make an admin report. Even if its not a specific scenario it is better to mention it in a report so that if there really is a problem that is not being monitored it can be taken care of. It is way more productive to voice your concerns that way then to just say that there is a problem and the problem is not being taken care of. Or voicing your concern with the admin(s) specifically could also go a long way.

I'm personally a fan of the bounty staying, bounties get higher and more rewarding if a cop or BH turns them in. I also love sending someone to jail and sending them back to jail after they escape the next day.

I feel money is the problem

People not doing runs make the server feel empty and removes alot of interaction for both cops and civs

Cartels are useless cause no one is or needs to do runs

Fed events gets spammed to the point cops do nothing else, also need some must follow rules (ifrits)

When the server pop is as low as it is u cant have these grp sizes

When there is only so many houses on 1 map u cant let a small sample of the server own them all

There is probably alot more and im not good at writing this shit but i feel like u need to stop adding and moving things and start removing and restricting instead, domination money ruined the server alot imo

• house cap: max 2 per player
• reduce ways to make money like the old days ( drugs like meth, coco, heroin, weed, and Scotch)
• Cop ifrits need new rules

There is probably alot more but this could be a great start to fix some major problems.

I don’t think a 1mil money cap is the answer at all. 1mil is almost nothing on the server unless they readjusted prices on everything. Also you can’t just add a 2 house limit when 99% of the players already own 5. This would honestly just make players leave the server that already do play

Cops lose 90% of fed events when the numbers are close to even (if the players are somewhat skilled) it’s hard to make a rule that balances the use of ifrits especially when there are so few cops that can pull them

Cops instantly log off even when out-numbering our groups, instant -15 to the server pop when my entire gang and every single cop logs because they don't want to fight and that's all we want to do. Not sure how to fix this issue though, Olympus cops love to fight and our cops used to as well.
