  1. Important Notice:

    • Server 2 will be closing permanently on Saturday morning at 0200 Central Time. The server has restrictive code on it preventing game play. Houses will allow for selling of full price back to market. Compensation will not be offered once the server has shut down. Please move or sell your stuff. 

    Limited Time Offerings:

    • Reverted previous seasons donation goals, except for the increased carryall weight.
    • Seasonal Donation Goal Rewards
      • Doubled discover rate of flawless diamonds.
      • Doubled the amount of blood money earned.
      • Doubled the price of all lumber sales.

    Added:

    • SWAT
      • Register at HQ or vehicle npc at checkpoints after any Federal Event starts.
      • All SWAT members get a default loadout.
        • Prior cop loadout will be re-equipped after death or once you terminate your SWAT role.
      • Custom loadouts can be obtained from the SWAT Armory at the weapon npcs at no cost.
      • Armor can be pulled out of the SWAT Garage at no cost - Max of 3 vehicles can be pulled at once.
      • SWAT will terminate 10 minutes after the end of a Federal Event or earlier through the available scroll option.
      • Previous Swat White-listing removed
    • Admin Events
      • Pre-event loadout and position are saved.
      • Winner is automatically payed out at the end of the event. Admins may supplement this amount.
      • Multiple event locations available for admins to choose from.
      • Gun Game Event
        • 15 weapon rounds, kills proceed to the next gun, deaths set you back one.
      • Battle Royale Event
        • Fight towards an ever closing circle to be the last man standing.
    • Re-added harvesting, cooking and selling of human organs.
    • Added ability for civilians to destroy APD spike strips.
    • Additional cosmetic uniforms.
      • Farmer outfit for all.
      • Science Shirt to Donor 3
      • Journalist outfit to Donor 5.
      • Scientist outfit 1 to Donor 6.
      • Scientist outfit  2 to Donor 8.
      • Link to Uniforms
    • Added Undercover M900 and Qilin.

    Changed/Tweaked:

    • Increased price of spike strips to $1000.
    • Increased APD seize reward of some illegal items.
    • Tweaked APD Prestige Formula, Cpl/Sgt/LT will see slightly more prestige gained when other officers seize contraband.

    Fixed:

    • Fixed issue with subscriber loadouts.
    • Fixed rare instance of being revived and losing your gun.
    • Fixed double stat giving for organ harvesting
    • Fixed a redgull script error
    • Fixed invisible uniforms due to missing clothing textures.
    • Fixed exploit with uranium mining.
    • Fixed blood money being displayed incorrectly.
    • Fixed exploit with sling loading gold bars.
    • Fixed issue where vehicles rarely would not save across restarts when lockpicked.
    • Fixed Other Stuff

     

    Hotfix #1:

    • Increased Federal Reserve elevated security to 1 hour.
    • Added an 8 minute intermission time between federal events.
    • Added a 30 second progress bar to seizing items from vehicles.
    • Reduced seizing distance to within HQ walls.
    • Made the corner walls of Evidence Lockup indestructible.
    • Added the ability for Cpl+ to seize Hunters used in illegal actions.
    • Fixed UC qilins having doors and no emergency lights.
    • Fixed Evidence Lockup electric fence maker text not updating.
    • Fixed whitelisted swat shop bug.
    • Fixed exploit(s) with revive and organ harvesting.
    • Fixed vehicle garage bug.
    • Added Green MX to require a BH license to hold.
    • Fixed Zubr shop mismatch.
    • Crank items can no longer be stored in house inventories
    • Hunters now require the Bounty Hunter license to pull out the vehicle

    By the way the real reason that player count has been declining over the years is because you guys have altered the amount of damage 7.62mm rifles do, especially on civ clothes and coveralls and tac vests.  Instead of making your server just like any other FPS shooter like CS:GO or Rust (which got tainted by this too), it should have stayed the way Arma was intended to be played. 

    I remember when a level 3 vest would save you from ONE bullet, and now naked civs and cops are surviving multiple shots.  Don't tell me these settings of bullet damage and HP haven't been tweaked because I hadn't seen nakeds getting bloody and flinching MULTIPLE times, or cops surviving more than 2 shots until the last time I started playing.  Nowadays it's about peaking and getting multiple hit markers on someone, rather than tactical position and teamwork.  The more servers do this, the more people will quit Arma 3 in general, which will result in less players on Altis Life.

    Caught us. We altered the 7.62's...

    I personally like the smash grabs. It’s a unique thing not many servers offer that allow small groups/individuals do the fed. And also large groups too. It’s a way to allow anyone a chance at gold. Olympus, only larger groups could get gold. Same with many other servers.

    if they are continuously happening cops should step up patrolling in that area to try and prevent them or have an improved response time.

    This will not be happening, as we do not want to cause a major disruption to the housing market or make it the meta to have a bunch of alt accounts with houses and just giving yourself keys and now you can spawn across the map, etc. At this time, we're just wanting them for storage/garage opportunities. If we allowed fewer houses to be owned, say 1 or something this would be more viable. However, at current settings this would allow for a person to have a lot of spawns..

    You can. It's not as simple as a "Switch House to this location" button. It's kind of like this for a reason. Sell or lose your house by natural means. Then use the menu to setup a new location. May need a server restart to occur prior to establishing the new house however.

    That's because gangs use to be per server and were entirely different. This is a different system that was built for multi-server support. Before the gang was attached a to a house. Now the house gets attached to a gang to allow multiple server support.

    Then we get comments like this and it's like, eh fuck it, they're ungrateful for the work we do anyways.. you know the long hours spent on this, the time away from family, the long nights staying up fixing and making stuff. So who cares tbh.

    I know it's hard to believe that this pandemic affects people's lives. I work in the supply chain industry, we're expected to continue operations, plus some. I'm sorry, but I can't just stay home from work daily to do this stuff. I can't help that I got pretty sick last friday. There's a lot of stuff that happens now that I just don't let this game/community rule my life and how I'm going to live it anymore.

    My time here gets spent on more than just in-game coding stuff too. For example, at one point last week I had set about 45 minutes aside to help Painbringa get the ability to utilize our API to automate some APD process stuff. Then we have stuff that people are exploiting that we're trying to fix. We recently had some people we found exploiting a money issue. So we have to then remedy that both with the damages they did and code wise. Then we come across more and more stuff too.

    TL;DR - Being annoying about it honestly just gettings old and annoying. It doesn't help expedite things.. it really just delays it more tbh. It doesn't make me feel any more motivated to do the stuff...

  7. I had asked about this when v2 was being made. If we should spawn vehicles outside the garage. Was told no. It’s really just a few lines of code. There is no setting spawns outside each garage or anything... I felt it would be a good thing to have. The owners at the time said no that it has been like this and they wanted to keep just small vehicles able to be spawned. Yada yada.

    BE detects ahk as well. They just don’t ban for it due to uses beyond aim assisting.

    lol? All our others have been met on time? Sorry that real life things take priority? Maybe when you move out from your mothers basement, get a proper job and maybe even a girlfriend or something you’ll realize there are more important things than this game and forums.
