If you guys happen to play somewhere else as well, are you seeing it there too - or is it just on Asylum?  Which Asylum patch did this begin happening for you?

When I play The Academy (CQC) I never crash, but when I'm logging into Asylum I crash a couple of times before being able to fully play it, and even still then after that I crash. I'm not to sure what patch it was for, but for me it was with one of the most recent ones don't know the specific one though.

It happened right after the latest patch (7.4.0). I haven't heard of anyone experiencing the same crash while playing on other servers.

If you're talking about memleaks, its just asylum.

I've been playing that one server for 3 weeks and haven't had a memleak once. I joined asylum yesterday, loaded in, took 3 steps to open the door of the house I was in and got a memleak.

I was looking around in my log files (C:\Users\Peter\AppData\Local\Arma 3) and found the crash logs. Below is the link to three separate crashes:

http://pastebin.com/dD6CLriF
http://pastebin.com/14VWYyQ5
http://pastebin.com/KpjCCsVB

They all seem to have the same error in common: C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION.

I googled a little bit, and this post had a reasonable explanation on the error (possibly).

I like how that post ended with someone suggesting a clean installation of Arma3.

FML.

That would require him to have an education and social skills, Scott.

Things are starting to add up now.  I'm starting to understand where his pointless outbursts come from along with the limited understanding of insults and insulting logic.

I have nothing but faith in you Scott.  You may make a decent forum warrior out of him yet.

Memory leak 3 times in a row, sitting on 2 different loading screens for 5+ minutes each time.

This is unplayable. Hotfix asap

@bamf Have found a potential Fix for frequent crashing.

Download this https://www.dropbox.com/sh/582opsto4mmr8d8/AAC3uieiD4L68vjiHcJlXf5wa/162perf6/arma3client_performance_162_137698_v6.7z?dl=0

Extract this application to your arma 3 directory

Change the name of the arma3 application to arma3_old 9cd6acb800658d34256bafdc4615a420.gif

Rename the file you just extracted to arma3

Launch the game.

Thanks to @Khaliq Fahid for showing this to me.

He played for 6 hours not one crash, i played for a little bit, and didnt crash once, when normally i crash 5-6 times in a row

could one of the developers please look at getting downed people out of vehicles.  its kind of ridiculous.  I downed this guy just now 7 times in his car and he keeps telling me to go fuck myself im not getting out since you cant pull him out of his car even if it is locked or unlocked while he is downed.  also cant put downed people into cars.

Completely forgot about that or I would have fixed it tonight.

Make a report for me and I'll fix it tomorrow.

Also, there is a new Malloc that can be used along side it to help out if it doesnt work by itself. I have played for around 10 hours today with no crashes and my normal FPS is back.
